Next Day : Wednesday @ office

Simi was waiting in the canteen for other three for lunch... She was listening songs in earphone closing her eyes.. Hari, Krish and Madhu joins her..

Krish : appadi enna paattu ketkura.. ? (pulls the earphone from her and he listens.)

enna ? innum nee amma kaalathu songs dhaan ketkkuriyaa ? eppadhaan munnera poreengalo.. ?

Madhu : enga kodunga ?

Simi : wait wait... velilaye play panren...

She plays the song with medium volume...

For a second, Hari looks into Simi's eyes and tries to be casual...

Madhu : ya such a song... movie name Vanakkam Chennai dhaane ?

Hari : (mindvoice) is she trying to say something through this ?

Krish : pochu... neeyum ivanga katchiyaa ? orey kushttamappaa...

Later :

Simi was standing in the corridor and stops Hari who passes by that side who pretend to talk on the phone... But she finds out that there is no one on other side.. So she gives him a ring... He didn't expect it but tried to samalichify...

But Simi mood went off on hearing his ringtone...

'Kaadhal vandhaal solli anuppu... uyirodu irundhaal varugiren'..

He then comes near her and waits for her to talk...

Simi : Hari... adhu vandhu...

Hari : do you want to say something ?

Simi : yes...

Hari : sari sollu...

Simi : but adhukku munnaadi.. give me a call from your mobile..

Hari : edhukku.. ?

Simi : pannen.. please..

He gives a ring holding his mobile in his hand..

Simi : kaadhula vachi kelen..

Hari : (shouts) what are you trying to do ? you enjoying me getting iritated ah ? bore adikkudhu nu enna niruthi vilayaaduriyaa ?

Simi did not expect this kind of response from him. By saying so he moved out of that place..

After few mins, he returns to his place for which he needs to cross that corridor anyway..

Simi was standing still there.. He saw tears in her eyes ready to fall off... But he walked off fast from there...



Evening :

Simi enters Vishnu's home and she sees Naana, Naani, Lakshmi seated in the hall seeing an album...

On seeing them to be dull as Hari will be leaving in couple of days, Simi tries to change their mood..

Simi : Hello Aunty... enna paathittu irukkeenga ? oh enga childhood photos ah ?

No response from any of them...

Simi : enna... ellaarum flashback ku poitteengalaa ?

She finds a photo with all the kids together, Krish, Prem and she was next to Hari.. She smiled for a second..

Vishnu just walks in that time..

Vish : romba easy question... idhu kooda engalukku theriyaadhaa ? Hari was first.. after few minutes Krish was born...

Everyone looks a bit confused and waiting for her answer..

Hari was hearing the whole conversation from the room..

Simi then goes upstairs to take something..

Laksh : Hari kelamburadhula... ivalukku varutham illa polaye... ?

Vish : naama avanoda parents... moreover.. oruvela Krish ku ippadi oru situation vandhirundhaa.. she also would have suffered... avan kooda dhaane close...

Hari : (mind voice) but I know that she smiles outside for others' sake.. kandippaa she must be undergoing pain.. naan vera innaikku.. kathitten...

He remember what happened on that day and calls her mobile to know what it is.. He could hear a song as caller tune,,,

'Pogaadhe ... Pogaadhe... nee ponaal... endhan nenjam thaangaadhe..'

Hari : (thinks) edhaiyume straight ah solla maattenguraale...

Thinking about it, he climbs the stairs and while he was about to enter his room, he sees Simi at the balcony...

He gets a sudden thought and puts his hand across her and stops her... He humms a song.. that she played it during the lunch time..

'Oh Penne Penne... en Kanne Kanne...

Unmai sonnaal enna... unnai thandhaal enna...'

She continued the same song..

'Un kaigal korthu... unnodu poga..

en nenjam dhaan yengudhe... dhinam uyir vaangudhe...

un tholil saaindhu.. kanmoodi vaazha..

en ullam alaipaayudhe.. haiyyo thadumaarudhe..'

She was about to move from there..

Hari : Smitha... oru nimisham..

Simi : (silent)

Hari : I'm sorry... and thanks...

Simi : (turns) for ?

Hari : I showed my anger on you at the office... sorry for that... apparam Thanks for changing the mood that prevailed here at my house... ellaarume sogamaa mugatha vachittu irundhaanga... Thanks again...

Again she gives a smile and leaves saying Good Night to him.. He too felt light after that short and sweet conversation...

Downstairs she meets Lakshmi before leaving and gives hopes to her..

Simi : Aunty... inga paarunga... don't worry too much... this separation won't be so long... wait and watch... anga poi konja naal la ye... marubadiyum varuvaan nu dhaan thonudhu...

Laksh : nee sonna maadhiri nadandhaa... adhavida sandhosham edhuvum illa..

Lakshmi kisses Simi on her forehead...

While walking back to her home, she thinks..

Simi : ennadhaan ellaarukkum samaadhaanam sonnaalum... en manasu samaadhaanam aagalaye... don't know how am I going to handle this separation...
