Sreejita De, who plays Mukta in Uttaran, is unhappy with her role.
According to sources, the actress has already informed the creative team about her track not shaping up the way it was narrated to her. She has asked for a change in her track, failing which she would consider other offers. Sreejita confirms, "The creative team knows about me being upset. In the TV world, characters and new tracks keep getting introduced for better ratings, so much so that one does not see if the script is being compromised on, or if a character does not have more scope to be explored. No wonder, people feel that the show has been dragging for quite some time now."
The actress, who is now looking for challenging roles, will make an appearance in the comedy show Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai. She says, "It is a small role and I found the whole episode interesting to work in."
