Its actually amazing and I feel very likely to be right because if purab is going to run away chances are abhi will insult pragya to the maximum and purab will also come back quite fast in a way to handle things and make it easier for pragya which I believe is the right time for truth to come out.

Chapter 3

Purab and Aliyah got married as the Mehra family and Sarlaji witnessed it. Pragya came down just as the marriage ceremony was at the point where Aliyah's kanyadaan was to be done. Dadi looked at Abhi and Pragya who had come quietly and stood behind to Abhi. Aliyah did not have parents so her older brother and sister in law could do the kanyadaan but before dadi could ask Abhi and Pragya to come and do it...

"Tauji Taiji aap dono Aliyah ka kanyadaan kijiye. You are older than mummyji papaji and in their absence you are like parents to Aliyah and Abhishekh. It is your right to give her hand in marriage." Abhi looked at Pragya she was looking still very pale. He felt very sad and guilt overcame him for the way he had behaved with her. He was thinking about ways to get on her good side. He had to ask for forgiveness from her. He could not stand it to have lost respect in anyone's eyes. He decided to make it all better between the two of them. He looked at Pragya. Aliyah ke bhaiyya bhabhi hone ke naate we should do her kanyadaan Pragya.' Pragya read his mind. Haan Abhishekh as Aliyah's brother you should do it but I am not her bhabhi as we are not husband wife in the true sense.' He tried speaking with her but she moved away from him. Tannu tried to come close to Abhi but he moved away from her. An angry Tannu left from Abhi's home.

Aliyah and Purab were bound in holy matrimony. They took blessings from everyone. Pragya went to Aliyah to speak with her about a few important things. "Aliyah I know that you dislike me, the fact is that you hate me. Now you know that I am not the girl Purab was involved with but you still hate me because I come from a background of a lower status than you. What I am about to tell you your mother would have told you if she were here. I know I have no rights what so ever but it is my duty to tell you this. Aliyah Purab is now your husband. Love him, respect him, please do trust and understand him the way he deserves to be. He is trying to forget the girl he was in love with. You have to help him in doing so. Give him a lot of happy memories so that he can forget that girl. Don't ask him who she was because he knows based on a misunderstanding what has been done to me. Aliyah if something happens to that girl Purab will never forgive you. Don't dwell on his past make a beautiful present and future with him. That is all I wanted to tell you rest you are quiet mature to make the right decisions but in your life if you ever feel that you can't make a decision leave it on fate. God know what's best for you. God bless you. Humesha apne Purab ke saath khush rehna."

Pragya left as Abhi came to speak with Aliyah. Purab took blessings from dadi. "Purab humesha khush rehna aur meri Aliyah se galti ho jaaye toh use maaf kar dena bacchi hai wo abhi." "Dadi Aliyah mere saath jo kare main use maaf kar doonga but jo usne aur Abhi ne milkar meri behen meri Pragya Di ke saath kiya hi main uske liye unn dono ko kabhi maaf nahi kar sakta." "Ye sab ho kya raha hai? Tannu bhi kuch bol rahi thi..."

"Main aapko batata hoon dadi." Pragya came to Purab and tried to stop him. "Purab! Please... Kuch mat kaho. Dekho aaj tumhaari aur Aliyah ki shaadi hui hai aaj khushi ka din hai. It is a new beginning for you and Aliyah don't talk about anything else on this day." "No Di koi new beginning nahi hai. Aliyah will get what she deserves." Pragya felt helpless, she had been too emotionally drained. She did not have the strength to fight Purab. Purab turned towards everyone who looked at him for the mystery to be solved. "Dadi Aliyaah thought I and Pragya Di were lovers. Aliyah ne mujhe aur Pragya Di ko ek saath meri office mein dekha tha! Maine uss se kaha tha ki main kisi aur se pyar karta hoon and that I could not enter into a loveless marriage with her. Main uss se pyar nahi karta hoon wo kaise mere saath khush rehti. She convinced Abhi that I betrayed Abhi, Aliyah and all of you. Aliyah wanted me so she made a plan that Abhi and Pragya Di would get married. Abhi and Aliyah would torture Pragya Di for trapping me. They would expose Pragya Di's real face to me then I would marry Aliyah after knowing Pragya Di's truth. Once Aliyah and I settled in their married life Abhi would leave Pragya Di after a year. But it was all her misunderstanding."

Purab then turned to Aliyah. "Aliyah you have married me but you will not be happy, that I can assure you of." Everyone was shocked. This was not the sweet Purab they knew. Pragya heard what Purab said. She came to him. "Purab mujhe Di kehte ho na? You know what I have been through... You know who much I have suffered... Ab yehi dard tum kisi aur ko doge? Tumne mujhse kaha tha na ki tum samajhte ho shaadi kya hoti hai... Purab if you do the same with Aliyah what her brother did with me toh mere acche se bhai aur rock star Abhi mein kya fark reh jaayega? Purab believe in change not revenge... Aliyah se badla mat lo balki use itna pyar do ki usmein badlaav aa jaaye... She will become the kind of life partner you wanted. Purab jo galat hai use sahi karo tum galat mat bano... Promise?"

Dadi could not believe that Abhi was part of all this. Aliyah she expected such behavior from but Abhi... How could he? She could not even look at Abhi... Did she raise this kind of a monster that could ruin an innocent girl's life without even getting his facts clear? Did she raise such a man who would steal his best friend's love? She did not know him. In front of her was not her Abhi but it was some stranger. She had found a gem of a life partner for him but he did not value her and now...

Dadi placed her hand on the left side of her chest. "Dadi..." Abhi ran to his dadi and so did Pragya. Sarlaji too heard all of this and she collapsed. "Ma..." screamed Pragya but she could not leave dadi's side. She was in a dilemma but saw that Akaash and Purab had rushed to her mother. Abhi looked at Pragya be by Dadi's side when she should and could be by her mother's side. She did not need to care for Abhi, her tormentor's dadi but she cared for her like she would for her own dadi. He was touched by her care for dadi. This was the kind of person he was married to who valued relationships but he did not value her... And now... His present and future with her all seemed uncertain...

At the hospital, Dadi and Sarlaji both were brought in. They were both emergency cases. As soon as the receptionist saw Abhi she called for help. Abhi's dadi was taken for emergency treatment. Pragya was there alone with her mother. No one else was there. She was asked to fill the forms. "I will fill the forms but please meri ma ka ilaaj toh shuru kijiye... Aap dadi ko toh le gaye..." "Yes madam because she is rock star Abhi's dadi." "Oh really so now the treatment also depends on a person's social status life important nahi hai..." Pragya turned and saw Suresh standing there. She did not know how, why but the important thing was that he was there with her. Suddenly that feeling of being alone disappeared. Suresh showed his army I card and Sarlaji was admitted. They still had to pay hefty admission fees. Just then Purab arrived. "Di aap ma ke sath jaaiye ye sab main dekh leta hoon." Pragya and Suresh went with Sarlaji. Dadi and Sarlaji were admitted in wards opposite each others. Abhi saw Suresh support Pragya and something inside him screamed. He came forward but Suresh had already made Pragya sit on the bench. He stood between Pragya and Abhi.

Suresh looked at Pragya he protected her from everyone but could not protect her from himself. He hurt her he was the cause of all her pain. He did not give her the love she deserved and did not marry her. She married Abhi in return of the love her mother gave her. He cursed himself for Pragya's pain but he could not do anything to take it away. Abhi moved away and silently observed Suresh. The way he looked at Pragya. There was respect, appreciation, concern in his eyes for Pragya. It was something Abhi as her husband should have but Suresh had them. He did not deserve a person like Pragya... Pragya does not deserve a person like him... What should he do now? Should he set her free from the cage named marriage... Should he make that cage her home her haven... He had no answers... The family members reached there and were confused to see Suresh there.

Pragya too realized why was Suresh at the hospital? "Suresh tum yahaan kaise?" "Pragya wo Raccho was in labor... Oh no I was supposed to be with her but I saw you and I..." "Wow Suresh! That is the first good news I have received all day. A new life... A new hope... Ab mujhe poora yakeen hai ki dadi aur ma will be fine. You should be with Rachho..." Suresh left and he saw the true desperation on Akaash's face while he was leaving. He patted Akaash on the shoulder. "Main Raccho se poochoonga... If she says yes only then you can come and see her child..." Suresh looked back at Pragya and she smiled at his decision. The doctor came and told that dadi was fine it was just a mild chest pain. The Mehra family one by one went to meet Dadi. They could not stay the night so they left. In the hospital remained Abhi, Pragya, Purab and Aliyah. Pragya looked at Purab and she had been meaning to ask him a question but did not want to in front of Aliyah and Abhi. Abhi and Aliyah were going inside to meet dadi...

"Purab wo ma ke liye admission fees... How did you? I mean it was not Abhishekh's money right?" Abhi heard this and he shut his eyes. All the moments in which he had accused her of being a gold digger flashed in front of him. When she could he did not want her to use his money and now when she needed it the most she did not want it! What use is this kind of money that can't be used when needed the most? He went inside to meet dadi. Aliyah was very tired dressed in her heavy bridal trousseau. Pragya asked Purab to take her home. Her mother's surgery was to be done the next day when she would be a little stable. Purab did not want to leave but he thought that Abhi and Pragya could use this time alone.

Abhi was in dadi's room. He sat by her side and cried like a small child. His tear drops fell on her hand and she opened her eyes. She asked him to change the position of the bed so that she could talk with him. "Dadi abhi kuch nahi you need your rest." "Abhi it has to be now too much has happened. You have done too much too wrong. Abhi tu kaisa dost hai? You thought Purab loved Pragya so you stole her from your best friend? Purab ka pyar chheen kar tu use kaunse khushi de deta? Kaisa bhi hai tu? You knew that Purab does not love her phir bhi you wanted Purab to marry Aliyah. Itna bada plan banaya tum dono ne? Purab, Pragya ke saath itna bada khel khela? Dadi ke saath bhi? You have hurt me Abhi... Main e kya socha tha aur tu kuya nikla... I don't even know this Abhi... My Abhi is lost somewhere in Rock Star Abhi... Aur aaj uss Rock Star Abhi ki wajah se mere Abhi ne Pragya ko kho diya hai..."

Abhi hugged her and cried like a small child. Pragya could hear Abhi cry. She was scared for him thinking something happened to dadi so she rushed in. Dadi was fine but she saw Abhi cry like a child. She let him cry and came out of the room.

After sometime Abhi too came out and saw Pragya sleeping on the chair. She was about to fall to her side but he came and quietly sat on the chair next to hers. He supported her head on his shoulder. Pragya relaxed but in a few seconds opened her eyes. She saw Abhi sitting next to her. "Sorry." Pragya apologized for leaning on him. Before Abhi could say anything a nurse came and asked Pragya to get some medicines which were not available in the hospital chemist. Abhi was about to take the prescription but Pragya took it and made a call. "Hello! Ma ke liye kuch medicines bahar se laani hai can you get them?" Abhi looked at her feel relieved so the other person must have said yes. He was strolling outside the two ICU rooms. He turned when he heard a voice... "Pragya prescription do main aunty ki medicines laata hoon..." Suresh! She called Suresh! Ye chashmish hota kaun hai meri mother in law ke liye medicines laane wala...' Abhi did not like it. He saw the interactions between Pragya and Suresh... He felt jealous...

If he was the Abhi who did not know the truth about Pragya and he was drunk he would surely have said something mean to Pragya and then "Suresh and Pragya sitting in the tree K-i-s-s-i-n-g!" The very thought of him saying these things made him feel ashamed of the person he had become.

Abhi and Pragya sat across each other. The silence gnawed at his insides. It lingered in the air, thick and heavy, like a blanket. The silence was like a gaping void, needing to be filled with sounds, words, anything. The silence was poisonous in its nothingness...

Uff ho Chahat..😭😭😭...I am crying and crying. What an emotional chapter. I don't even have words. Loved all the special moments. Kanyadaan, Pragya's advice for Aaliya, her argument to Purab...then so much at the hospital, birth and heart attacks and surgery all at once my gosh!!! lol at jealous Abhi moments...will want to see if he can earn a chance with Pragya after all this mess.
