Understandable 😊..i too was nervous during my first riddle ( truth to be told, i was nervous every time i posted a riddle, (30 times to be precise) ).. 😆
I am perfectly clear on the "thing as well as being" clue..& also thought that "The Sorting Hat" perfectly fit the "wise" clue in the riddle.. as for "the within" clue in the riddle , i thought may be it was in reference to how the hat looks into the qualities of each students before making decisions but that was too far fetched, your explanation makes perfect sense !..👍🏼.. however, i thought"The Sorting Hat" doesnt fit the "everything nice" clue since sorting hat also sorts through Slytherine students most of whom are slytherines for a reason 🤢..but now that ur explanation is out, it makes perfect sense yet again !..👍🏼.. sorting hat only does its job of placing students in appropriate houses for their training in Hogwarts (beginning of nice) & it cant be blamed for how slytherine students turn out , its their chosen path !.. so yes, everything made perfect sense..😊
Although i do want to add that, guessing riddles on just two lines is a pretty difficult task.. next time, please do add few more lines in the riddles so that guessers have something more to go by..i know it is hard to give out many clues & not give the answer completely but only two lines are somewhat insufficient for the guessers to come up with an answer..but it was a nice riddle nevertheless !.. 😃
