3 Years Later

Kalpi is getting ready in front of the mirror.. She wears a red saree and combing her hair.. She let her hair open and wears red bangles.. She applies bindi and Kajal.. Roy who was sitting on the bed was stealing few glances at her.. Kalpi caught him watching her but he lowers his gaze and pretends as if he is busy in watching tv .. Kalpi makes sound from her bangles but Roy pretends ignorance.. with disappointed expressions she takes out the sindoor box when Roy holds her from the back and dips his finger in sindoor box.. He applies it on Kalpi's part.. she closes her eyes.. A small amount of Sindoor falls on her nose..

Roy : "This sindoor is telling u that ur hubby loves u so much.."

While saying so he kisses her cheek and slowly wipes off sindoor from her nose saying, "U r looking beautiful.. U should wear such sarees more but what is special today.. why r u getting ready like this..,"

Kalpi(disappointed) : "U forgot, how could u.. It's our one month wedding anniversary... In the courtship period u used to remember each and every date but now.. Maa was correct.. A man changes after marriage.."

He closes her eyes with one palm and places a locket with heart shaped pendant in her neck.. Kalpi opens her eyes and looks at it..

Kalpi : "So u remembered.. Y u pretended as if u forgot"

Roy : "My wife looks pretty while angry.. and how can I forget this date.. I still remember the day I proposed u for marriage.. U accepted my ring but told me to wait till we achieve our aim.. N just coz of this I have to wait for 3 years for this marriage.. But I am glad that u supported me in my career and just coz of u I have my identity as choreographer and I have so many cafes.. Thank u Kalpi for coming in my life.. Happy one month anniversary"

RoKa hugs when someone knocks on the door.. Roshni and Vijeet enters with a envelope in their hand.. RoKa gets embarrassed..

Vijeet : "Arey bhai.. u r now officially married couple so why to feel shy.. When ur mom n I were newly married..."

Roshni stops him from saying further and whispers.. "Roy remember everything as he wasn't small in our marriage but control urself in front of Kalpi.. She is ur daughter in law now.."

Vijeet(loudly) : "Daughter in law?? Who is my daughter in law.. Kalpi is my daughter.. If u want I can make Roy as my son-in-law!!"

All laugh on this.. Kalpi hugs vijeet.. Roy fumes on this and hugs her mom.

Roy : "Don't show off.. If dad is with u than I have my mom.. But Dad, this is not fair.. U changed ur team after marriage.."

Vijeet : " I have to.. After all she is my heir.. Owner of Oberoi industries and a well known business woman.. She has made me proud... N she is going to achieve a award for this.. what u did for me.. Huh!!"

Kalpi teases Roy by showing her tongue and thumb.. Roy cribs..

Roy : "One day I will get a filmfare award.. n that day I will dedicate it to my mom and not u or dad.. Huh!!"

Roshni who was a mute spectator has tears in her eyes on seeing her happy family.. She wipes the falling tears and says "Enough of this joking.. Roy and Kalpi.. u go to temple to take blessings and in night we have to go for award ceremany. So come back soon.. N I want everyone to be back by lunch.. "

All three together(RoKa n Vijeet) : "Yes mam, Ur wish our command"

Roshni laughs on this.. RoKa leaves for the temple. Vijeet puts his arm around Roshni saying "Kalpi completed our family... I was always worried about my business as Roy was interested in dance and his cafe and I dint want to pressurize him for anything but Kalpi took away all my tensions.. She deserved to be what she is today and now I can leave all my work on her and we can go on second honeymoon."

Roshni : "Vijeet.."

Vijeet : "What.. m still young.."

Raghav looks at the scrapbook he made.. He flips the pages and looks at his and Kalpi's pics.. He traces his fingers on it.. Suddenly he looks at the time.. He closes the book and keeps it safe in his closet.. The ring fell from it.. He picks it up and looks at it lovingly and keeps it in the pocket.. He runs towards the room and says , "What is this sweetheart.. u r still getting ready.. U know we have to reach by 5 pm n it's already 3.30.. Come fast else we will miss the show...Come on Muskaan!!"

A little girl is sitting on the dressing table.. She brushes her hair and wears white hair band.. She let few bangs come out of it.. wears the blue watch.. She turns around.. Raghav looks at her.. She is looking pretty in white top and denim shorts.. He silky straight hair coming on his should which she pushes back and shows her shoes to Raghav.. Raghav understands it and sits down to tie her laces.. He finishes it and kisses her on cheek.. and touches her hair

Muskaan : "Uffo dad.. u spoiled my hair.. Neways how m I looking.."

Raghav : "Just like ur mom.. Beautiful."

Muskaan turns to her mom who is watching the duo having their usual pat.. She handsover Raghav's hanky and watch and asks, "Is it necessary to go today.. I know how much that award function matters to u.. "

Raghav : "No Amrita.. Nothing is more important than my daughter.. We can record it and watch later but right now I want to take my daughter to the carton movie which she want to see.. "

Amrita : "No one can say that she is not ur.."

Raghav keeps his hand on Amrita's lips and stops her from saying further.. He replies, "She is my daughter.. She is Muskaan Raghav Singhania"

Amrita nods in yes.. They look at Muskaan who is taking out her sling bag and keeps her dummy mobile in it saying she is ready.. She hugs her mother...

Raghav remembers the moment when she saw Muskaan for the firsttime..

Flashback

Raghav is sitting on the stairs of orphanage.. All depresses.. his face was engulfed in tears and mind abuzz with Orphanage committee's words.. "Sorry Mr. Singhani.. u can't adopt a girl as Indian law doesn't give permission to unmarried or divorced man to adopt a baby girl.. If u want to adopt a son u have to go this process again but we can't guarantee u that u will get the baby coz of ur past records". Raghav has lost the hope but wipes his tears remembering the promise he made to Kalpi.. He was about to get up when he feels a soft touch on his legs.. He bends down to see who it.. A small angel was touching her feets.. Her twinkling eyes brought smile on Rag's face.. He picks her up and make her sit in his lap.. She says, "Mamma..". He looks around and sees a lady wiping her tears and going back.. He picks the baby in his arms and runs towards her.. He stops her..

Raghav : Is she ur baby.. Why r u leaving her here.. Don't u have any emotions for her??

Lady : No.. I do not have any emotions for her.. I just want to leave her here.. U r from the staff than keep it here..

She folds her hand and cries.. Rags look at her.. Her eyes and face were not going with her words..

Raghav : No.. I am not from the staff.. I won't let u leave this baby like this.. u know how it feels to leave without parents.. She will miss u each and every moment of her life.. Whe she will fall she will have no one to help her in getting up.. When she will be hungry no one will there to cook for her.. In illness someone will give her medicine but no one will be there to stay awake for whole night.. It hurts to be alone.. u can't do this to me..

Lady(while crying) : But she will have at least some one to give her a shelter.. She will be safe but what will she do after my death.. She is just 1 n half years old... Right now any one can adopt her but who will adopt her after my death.. yes I am dying.. I dnt know when.. I may live for 1 year or 1 day but I can't let her live with this uncertainty.. I am HIV +ve... My husband left me coz I may suffer from AIDS.. It's not my fault in it.. I was always loyal to my husband but I do not know how I get this infection..But I do not want her to pay for this.. She is perfectly healthy. But my relatives won't help her in the fear that they might get infected coz of her.. What will she do than??

Raghav who was listening to this hugs the baby and says, "Marry me."

Lady : "But u dnt know me..Not even my name"

Raghav : "How does it matter.. I was here to adopt a baby but they denied coz I am divorced. So I will get this baby after ur marriage and u too will get proper treatment.. Btw I am Raghav.. Raghav Singhania."

Lady : "I am Amrita.. u can have the baby.. Just let me visit her once in a week.. No need to marry me as u won't be able to get my love coz of my disease.."

Raghav : "I do not want love.. My love is already married to someone.. I just want happiness and I will be happy if u will marry me and spend ur last days with ur baby.. "

Lady : "But what if I dnt die soon.. I am just HIV +ve n not a AIDS patient.. I may live for years.."

Raghav : "Than I will get a good friend.."

Lady nods in yes and one month later they married in court.. Gauri tried to deny but on seeing Raghav's love for the baby she accepted Amrita.

Flashback Ends

Raghav looks at Amrita who is still HIV+ve and on medication.. He smiles.. Amrita asks what.

Raghav : "I am glad u accepted my offer that day.. I got a best friend in you.. Thanks for being in my life.. I feel complete with u and Muskaan.. A complete happy family." He kisses Amrita on forehead.. She pulls herself back saying "No.. u might get infected.. ". Raghav replies, "Com'on kissing on forehead won't affect.. Me it's just a way to say u I love u.. I love my best frined.. N I have a gift for u.. "

Raghav takes out the ring and gives it to Amrita saying, "I want Muskaan to wear it on her marriage.. It is from.."

Amrita completes, "Kalpi.. it is the ur engagement ring.. I know it Raghav.. But keep it with u.. Muskaan's mom may not be there on her marriage but his father will be.. So u should give it to her."

Raghav : "No.. u won't go anywhere.. We will play with our grandparents.. u and me.. Nana nani.."

Rags laughs loudly on this..Amrita too smiles,.. Muskaan looks at him "Mom and Dad why r u laughing..". They look at their little daughter who herself is a kid and they r thinking about her baby.. Rags smiles and says "Nothing baby... just saw a sweet dream.. Let's go sweetheart."

Gauri who was watching all this wipes her tear and fold her hand in front of god.. "Thank u god for giving so much happiness to my son.. Thanks for ur blessings as Muskaan."

Raghav bids all of them bye and asks Amrita whether she wants to join them.. but she denies saying she has some important work.
