Readily available in the Wizarding world,pumpkin juice is a very very common beverage in the wizarding world and readily available..right from the food trolley in Hogwarts express to school to hogsmeade...my solid state used to shoo the evil in the Muggle world.the pumpkin(the solid state) is cut and designed to look like a monster to ward off the evil spirits at Halloween(which is a Muggle festival, but which is i guess celebrated in the Magical world too)The braveheart threatened to use me as a bait,on his suspect, as the theft to him seemed to indicate.Snape(the braveheart) threatened to mix veritaserum in Harry's pumpkin juice to try and get out the truth, as he strongly suspected Harry for stealing polyjuice potion ingredients from his private stores.(Incidence from the GoF)The pinky-pink too tried to use me as a bait,but failed, as her prey had a clever trait.Umbridge(the pinky pink) too tried to follow a similar style in order to cough up the truth of Dumbledore and Sirius' whereabouts from Harry(her prey). Harry, acting cleverly thwarted her attempt by pretending to drink (Umbridge initially offered him a choice among Pumpkin juice, tea or coffe and Harry chose tea) where in fact he later spilled the contents in a vase. (Incidence from the OoP)Disclaimer:This is perhaps my worst riddle till date. But posted owing to low activity on the thread.
