Oh gosh, Where do I start????...

Okaayy...first let me make a confession😳. I read the first three chapters and absolutely loved it! Awesome is not even the word I would use to describe it😃...it was beyond amazing!

I left behind a comment after reading each part, unfortunately due to some reason I was unable read the 4th chronicle and lost track because I stopped receiving scraps- which was entirely my fault!- and therefore I stopped commenting.

But when I did see the chronicles under my posts, I saw the title and was quite excited about reading the chapters that I missed...

Now that the confession is over, let me start with the story...

Woww...Just Wow!!!

"I've always wanted to see a pregnant Khushi"
-Im sure you've heard that line a gazillion times..and I'm sure I've abused that line too...but now I don't need to use it anymore!!!

Why?

Because of your beautiful writing that brought the entire story to life, that portrayed a pregnant khushi better than the show would have...and because of this, I can say that khushi's pregnancy is no longer an unfulfilled wish of mine because it actually happened...it happened in the chronicles!!!

And as for Arnav, I don't think he could have gotten any more adorable❤️

Payals pregnancy was an absolutely amazing and essential part of the chronicles...maybe because Payash were overlooked in the show...and even so, your drabble series took care of that too❤️😊

I know, I talk..err...type a lot :p...but don't worry, I'm done now😆

Trust me when I say I have a lot more to thank you for and there's probably a whole lot that I forgot to mention, but I guess the comment is already too long...

Keep writing and stay as awesome as you are -and I can't wait to read more of the chronicles...I know I haven't commented as often as I should but the reason as aforementioned prevented me from doing so...I'm not a silent reader types so I swear I'll comment on the forthcoming chapters😳

But until then, stay blessed

-Tia❤️

11. Welcoming New Beginnings

Arnav got off and opened the passenger seat of the car helping Khushi step out. He felt a sense of satisfaction settle inside him as she placed her small warm hands into his clammy ones.

"Are you sweating again?" she aced narrowing her eyes.

"Of course not darling." he stuttered opening the back door and taking the two of hand strollers while Khushi carried the remaining one.

"Khushi, leave the stroller in car and just take her. With it, it'll be too heavy."

"Ji."

They walked in towards the door which was already opened wide for them to step in. Arnav was about to step in when Khushi shrieked. "Eee!! No no Arnav ji!"

"What?"

"Chotte, we have to the aarti of the girls!" Anjali interrupted in between coming to Khushi's rescue.

He rolled his eyes at the distressing ceremony which took a while until they were allowed to step in. He stifled a yawn as he led Khushi upstairs towards the nursery. Khushi stood stunned to see three cribs aligned in a triangular pattern in a baby pink room that had every thing that was needed for newborns.

"Arnav ji." she whispered.

"I know I know. I'm the greatest husband to exist." he replied cheekily.

"Don't flatter yourself!" she uttered sarcastically.

*

Khushi pushed open the door to her room after placing her three darlings to sleep. She didn't feel satisfied at leaving all of them alone in a room but after much insistence from Arnav she did as obliged.

"Why don't you sleep. You look tired." he spoke with his attention fixated at the recliner.

"Yeah, I was thinking of that.." she said stifling her yawn and throwing herself on the bed. She quietly stared at the ceiling before calling him out, "Arnav.."

"Hmm."

"How many days are you taking off?"

"I returning back on Monday. So about four more days. Why are you asking?"

"I was thinking we could have a naamkaran ceremony before you go back. That way instead of everyone coming to meet us everyday, we could have one event where all the people could and see the babies."

He turned towards her and sighed, "Are there any obligations we need to go by? Like religious ones? Because Khushi I don't think we should impose our beliefs and thoughts on our children just like that. I think it's better if they decide on their own what they want to belief in."

"Arnav ji! When am I saying to impose my beliefs on the children. I'm just saying that until they are old enough to decide that, they are going to follow the rules of the house."

"I don't agree Khushi.." he was cut off shortly as Anjali stepped in questioning what he didn't agree on.

"Di, Khushi wants to have a naamkaran ceremony."

"Arre wah Khushi ji!" Anjali seated herself on the edge of the bed, "So whats the problem Chotte. Its such a wonderful idea."

"I don't our beliefs to be imposed on the children before they even grow up."

"Oh, so I have a solution."

"What?" both asked at the same time.

"Well, how about you guys choose the name and what we do in the ceremony is just do the pooja?"

She looked over at Khushi who seemed reluctant but before she could clearly think over, she heard a scream from the room next door and after nodding a yes, rushed out.

*

Arnav looked the bed for about three to four minutes, figuring out wether he would be able to sleep in the space that was left after Khushi and the three girls. Sighing he retired towards the recliner.

Maybe NK was finally right. Life wasn't going to be the same anymore.

The poor man spends so much time on the recliner, It is a wonder her managed to father triplets.
Also isn't it too early for a namakaran? usually the babies are kept isolated from strangers for at least some time to prevent infections

That was so sweet. nice update.
Well in today's world things are done keeping in mind the convenience and time/people availability. So I guess, instead of each individual coming in on a daily basis and bringing in germs, you invite people in one shot and get it over it, and save the kids from too much of visitors giving the kid/s space. 😉
