For a friend, I did things illegal

Took off on a creature with a head of an eagle

Framed for an undid betrayal

Years later the truth did unveil

I was also my pals' best man

Very different from my entire clan

Sirius Black

Many assumed that I was back for revenge

There was a traitor whom I wanted to avenge

almost the whole wizarding world thought that Sirius had escaped Azkaban to murder Harry and take revenge on the fall of his master Voldemort, turned out that Peter was the traitor and this truth was known only to Sirius who wanted to avenge for James' and Lily's death

For a friend, I did things illegal

Took off on a creature with a head of an eagle

Sirius along with James and Peter became unregistered Animagi's just to give their company to Lupin during his transformations, Sirius escaped from Hogwarts on Buckbeak, a Hippogriff with the head and wings of an eagle and body of a horse

Framed for an undid betrayal

Years later the truth did unveil

He was framed for the murder of 12 muggles and Peter Pattigrew and was believed to be the secret keeper of the potters who betayed them and joined the Darkside, after his death the Ministry of Magic cleared him of all charges

I was also my pals' best man

Very different from my entire clan

He was the Best man in James's wedding and the only rebel in the whole Black clan who strongly believed in elitism
