Khushi woke up the next day and thought about the previous day "Was it all a dream?" she questioned herself.She looked at the time.It was 10 AM.Khushi widened her eyes "I slept for that long" She threw off the covers and quickly showered.Just when she came out,her phone began ringing "Hello" Khushi answered.
"Miss Gupta?" came a female voice.
"Yes" Khushi replied.
"Miss Gupta,I am calling from AR Designs and from sources we have learned that you are a well known designer.Our boss ASR would like to speak to you.Can you come in today?"
Khushi frowned.From sources? What sources? Though she had heard AR was a very high and popular company.She had also heard ASR was a stern and short-tempered man but well known as the most youngest and handsome eligible bachelor business tycoon in the industry.She had heard many things about him and always wanted to work with him.
"Umm" was all Khushi could say.
"What your answer Miss?" the female asked impatiently.
"Umm yeah sure.I will come"
"ASR will see you in half an hour.Don't be late.He doesn't like late comers"
"But-" Khushi was cut when she heard the beep from the other side.She looked at the phone in mock anger "Half in hour.Seriously?"
Khushi raced to the kitchen where all the family already was chatting away "Khushi" Khushi's mother noticed her first "You must be tired from yesterday.Don't you want to sleep for another hour or more?"
Shashi looked at Khushi "Are you going somewhere dear?" he asked judging by her bright yellow sari.
"I have an interview at AR Designs" Khushi looked around "Where's bhaiya?"
"He had to go to work" Garima said "You are going for an interview at AR?"
Khushi nodded.
Shashi and Garima looked at each other "Khushi" Shashi said "I don't think you know but-"
"I am so sorry dad but I have to go.I have the interview in less than 20 minutes and I heard ASR is very short-tempered and I don't want to be on the other end of it.Bye.Love you" Khushi kissed Garima's cheek and hugged Shashi and left.
Shashi and Garima looked at each other slightly worried.

"Hi.My name is Khushi Kumari Gupta and I am here for an interview with ASR"
The secretary stared at her for a second before typing in her name in the computer.The secretary nodded at Khushi "You are right on time.ASR is in his cabin waiting for you"
Khushi smiled and nodded.She went in the direction she was told.She took the stairs to his cabin.She knocked on the glass door "Come in" she heard a strangely familiar voice.Khushi opened the door and came in.ASR was sitting in his chair,the back of his chair towards her.She opened her mouth to say something but he cut her off "Sit down"
Khushi narrowed her eyes at his rudeness but nonetheless did as was told "Um.My name is Khushi-"
"Arnav Singh Raizada" he completed.
Khushi frowned.ASR turned around in his car and faced her,his lips quirked in a smirk.Khushi widened her eyes in horror "YOU" she accused.She immediately stood up "YOU STALKER!"
"SIT DOWN"
Khushi shook her head "No! You're not the boss of me!"
Arnav stood up and leaned towards her across the table "But I am your husband"
Khushi bit her lip in anger "I refuse to accept you as my husband.You are nothing but a stalker!"
Arnav made his way towards her.Khushi stood her ground refusing to be intimidated by his tall brooding form.Arnav leaned towards her making her lean against the table in slight fear "A stalker? Then why are you still wearing this stalker's ring?"
Khushi widened her eyes and looked at her finger.It was true.She was still wearing the ring.How could she have forgotten to take it off? Khushi bit her lip and looked into Arnav's determined yet familiar eyes.She straightened her posture "You want your ring? Go ahead and take it.I was about to throw it away anyways" Khushi tried to pull the ring off her finger but it was stuck 'But how?' she wondered 'He had slid it on my finger last night so easily.Then why can't I pull it off?' She tried to pull it out but it didn't move a bit making her frustrated.
"Leave it" Arnav said as he took hold of her hand "You are hurting yourself" he caressed her ring finger where it turned slightly red "You might as well admit defeat.It isn't going to be moving off your finger"
Khushi gritted her teeth and pulled her hand out of his hold "I am out of here"
She turned to leave but Arnav held her hand,pulling her towards him.He twisted her wrist behind her back "You are hired"
Khushi squinted her eyes at him "Excuse me"
"You are hired" he repeated.
"I don't want a job here"
"Then why did you come here.Certainly not to meet me.Or am I wrong?" he asked with a glint in his eyes.
"No.Not to meet you.I didn't even know you worked here"
Arnav shook his head "This is my company"
Khushi gave a small gasp in realization "ASR means Arnav Singh Raizada"
"Correct my dear wife"
Khushi glared at him "I am not your wife and you are not my husband.I would marry for love"
"Love? What do you know about love? Have you ever been in love?"
Khushi froze.Her Masked Man's memories floated in her mind.She closed her eyes and nodded "Yes" she said pulling herself out of his arms "I have been in love before"
Arnav stared at her "Who?"
"I..I don't know"
"What are you talking about?" Arnav chuckled "You don't know who you have been in love with"
"He...He always wore a...a mask"
Arnav looked at her strangely "Why? Was it because he didn't want you to see him?"
"Something like that.He told me there were rumors going on about him and he didn't want me to judge him by false rumors"
"What makes you think he loved you?" he asked curiously.
"He told me once" Khushi answered with a smile on her face as she remembered when he confessed he loved her during the party "Whenever I looked into his eyes,I could always see the love in his eyes for me"
"Then what happened?"
"He..." Khushi gulped "He just disappeared.He never came back" she sighed when she remembered where she was "I...I have to go" she said wanting to leave more than ever.
Khushi took a step forward towards the door when she tripped.She felt herself being pulled towards the ground and closed her eyes.Strangely she never felt the pain.Confused,she opened her eyes only to be lost in a pair of deep chocolate brown eyes.The familiar brown eyes which always were glued to her mind.The familiar brown eyes which always showed love and care towards her yet sometimes confused her "Masked Man" she whispered unknowingly.
Arnav's eyes widened.He stared at her with an unknown feeling that reflected in his eyes 'Pain?And a bit of happiness?' Khushi wondered.He pulled her to her feet and stepped away from her "Come to office tomorrow at 8 AM.Come to my office first thing"
Khushi slowly nodded but then shook her head "And why should I-"
"Don't argue" he said in a commanding voice she did not dare to object.
Khushi nodded "Fine but I'll make you regret your decision"
Arnav smirked "Try your best shot my dear wife"
Khushi gritted her teeth in anger and left.
