Chapter 10(A) : Our closeness

"I love you too"said Navya as fresh tears of happiness welled up her eyes.They hugged each other.

After a while Navya realized their situation and tried to push him away but Anant was not letting her move.

"Anant, chodo mujhe"Navya stuggled to get up "hum sadak pe hai,kya kar rahe ho?"

"Nahi Navya,mai toh tumhe nahi chodne wala"smiled Anant as he tightened their hug.

"Anant,sharam karo, kisine dekh liya toh aur baarish ho rahi hai,sardi lag jayegi hum dono ko"smiled back Navya as she tickled him and got up.She started running before Anant could catch her.He ran behind her.Both were completely drenched by then as they reached on an isolated road until Navya stopped under a cottage shed as she could not run any further.She was running out of breath.

She caught her breath back and looked up to find Anant nowhere.

"Anant..Anant" Navya called out as she looked worried.

*Ye Anant kaha chala gaya abhi tak toh mere peeche hi tha*thought Navya and again started looking here and there.

Suddenly she was being lifted by someone from the back and started twirling her.She screamed and started hitting that person just to realize it was Anant who put her down with a naughty grin on his face.

"Anant, tumne toh mujhe darahi diya tha,kaha chale gaye thae aur kyu sata rahe thae mujhe?"asked Navya heaving heavily and with a pout on her lips.

"Kyun Ma'am ye sataane ka business sirf aap hi ka hai kya?"Asked Anant with a mischevious look "kabhi dakha de deti ho aur kabhi maarne lag jaati ho"

"Tum bhi na bilkul paagal ho"smiled Navya.

"Chaliye Ma'am ab vapis chalte hai, meri car restaurant ke paas hi khadi hai"said Anant

"Haan thike chalo"said Navya.

As they proceed to go, a strom broke out. The water droplets began growing larger and falling frequently. The winds were driving the rain faster, harder, and stronger than it had ever before.Thunder and lightening took place made Navya scared to the core.

Anant quickly took her inside the cottage and made her sit on the dry hay.He closed the door and the half broken windows.

"Anant ab hum ghar kaise pohuchenge,sabko humari chinta ho rahi hogi,maa ko maine bataya tha ki mai Rits ke ghar jaa rahi hu."said a baffled Navya as she heard the loud noices of the falling trees due to strong winds.

Anant sat beside her to say something just then her phone rang.It was Rits.

"Haan Rits bol"said Navya panicked.

"Navya, abhi mujhe aunty ka call aya tha unhone tujhe bhi call kia tha but tera phone nahi laga .Vo puch rahi thi ki hum thik hai ki nahi.Kya tu mere ghar ka bahana banake kahi aur hai?"Asked a furious Rits.

"Haan Rits mai kahi aur hoon,tum ye sab chodo,mujhe batao tumne maa se kya kaha?"Asked Navya worriedly.

"Maine keh diya ki hum sab thik hai aur tu washroom mein hai,par ab mujhe tu sach bata ki tu hai kaha?"Asked Rits.

"Vo mai Anant.."Navya tried to speak but the call got disconnected.

She checked her phone which was showing batterly low followed by a switch off.

"Anant,apna phone dena mere phone ki battery low ho gayi hai"said Navya.

"Haan ek minute"said Anant as he fumbled inside his jeans pockets to find his cell phone nowhere.

"Oh God! Lagta hai mera phone car mein hi choot gaya"said Anant looking equally worried.

"Ohh, vo abhi Rits ka call aya tha"Said Navya and told him their conversation.

"Tum ghabrao mat atleast Aunty ko ye tassili toh rehegi ki tum Rits ke ghar ho"assured Anant.

Navya nodded her head.

The weather was becoming worse then before.

Anant got up to find some woods to lit them and make the room a bit warm.Navya saw him going and stopped him by asking "Kaha jaa rahe ho?"

He came back to her and knelt down; cupping her face in his palms, he said in a soft tone"Tumhe chodke kahi nahi jaonga" Hearing this made Navya smile and blush at the same time.

He stood up and looked around to find some woods at the corner.He brought them infront of her and took out his lighter and lit the woods.

"Anant tumarhe paas lighter hai,matlab tum cigarette pete ho?"Asked Navya with a suspicious look on her face while he sat beside her to get some warmth from the fire.

"Nahi, ye mera nahi hai,bhai ka hai. Mujhe aaj tumahre office ane se pehle pakda dia tha. Shayad lunch pe tumpe acha impression jamana chahte thae"said Anant with a wink as he said the last line.

Navya was amused listening to him.This was again a big turnoff about Mohan for her as she hate those people who drink and smoke but she was happy atleast she loves Anant and now she wants to marry him only but what about Anant?Is he ready to marry her?What about their parents,will they accept them?

Her chain of thoughts was broken when Anant held her hand and made her stand.

Navya looked at him with a confused expression.Before she could utter a word,she found Anant kneeling on his leg and with a twig ring in his hand extending towards her.She found his eyes were twinking with happiness.

"Umm..Mai janta hu ki ye thoda filmy lagega tumhe but jab maine tumhe pehle I love you bola tha tab vo mere darr ki vajah se mai keh paya tha par abhi mere pass koi pick up lines toh nahi hai lekin haan mai tumse kuch vaade karna chahunga.Aaj se balki abhi se tumahri saari problems meri problems hui,mai tumahra saath tab tak dunga jab tak mai zinda rahunga.Mai janta hoon ki kalko humare paarivar vale humare pyaar pe kai sawaal uthayenge aur shayad mujhe apne bhai ke khilaf bhi khada hona pade par inn sabke beech tum khudko kabhi akela nahi paogi, mai tumahre saath khada rahunga.Jabse tum meri zindagi mein aayi ho tabse asa lagta hai ki tumahra naam meri zindagi mein bohut pehle se hi likh diya gaya tha.Ye shayad bhagya hi hai jo hume pehle din se ab tak mila raha hai.Mai aaj khush hoon kyuki aaj meri khushi mere paas hain aur iss khushi ko mai kabhi khudse dur nahi jane dena chahta hoon, hamesha apne paas rakhna chahta hu.Toh kya ye khushi meri zindagi ka hissa banna chahegi?Kya ye Navya, Mrs. Navya Anant Bajbai banna chahegi?"Asked Anant as Navya saw immense love for her in his eyes.Those words, those eyes cleared everything which she had a doubt before but now she was contended as she got her answers in his sweet proposal.She was all teary eyed as she extended her hand saying "Kaun vo buddhu hogi jo Mrs. Anant Bajpai hone ki khushi nahi pana chahegi?" Anant smiled ear to ear as he sliped the twig ring in her finger.Navya sat on her knees as well and wrapped him up in her tight hug .Anant broke the hug and kissed on her forehead softly.

"Anant ka phone laga ki nahi?"Asked Om as he paced here and there worriedly.

"Papa uska phone toh lag raha hai par vo utha nahi raha"said Mohan.

"Suniye jee"said Sugandha "Mera mann bohut ghabra raha hai, bahar itni tez baarish ho rahi hai,pata nahi Anant kaha hoga?"

"Ye ladka kitna nalayak ho gaya hai, apna phone tak nahi utha raha"said Om angrily.He got so much angry on Anant for the first time.

"Tauji, bhai ka abhi call aya tha vo apne dost Armaan ke ghar pe hai, baarish kaafi tez ho rahi hai islye unke dost unhe vahi pe aaj raat ko rukne ke liye insist kar rahe hai"said Nimisha in one go.

"Chalo sukrr hai ki mera beta thik hai"said Sugandha as she folded her hands in a prayer.

Om grumbled and went inside followed by the others.

*Uff baal baal bach gaye, agar inko pata chal jata ki bhai, Navya ke saath hai toh pata nahi kya hota*thought Nimisha.It was Rits who called up Nimisha telling her everything till she heard that Anant is with Navya. She told her to cook up something and tell everyone.Nimisha, like a good sister agreed with it and thus saved his brother.

"Navya, mujhe lagta nahi ki ye baarish aaj raat tak nahi rukegi,kal subah hi hum yaha se nikal payenge"said Anant as he burnt more woods "Tumhe inn kapdo mei sardi lag jayegi isliye"He removed his outer shirt and gave it to her. "Tum isme change karlo, ye sookh gaya hai"

Navya nodded her head and went behind the heap of bushes.Meanwhile Anant has removed his t-shirt as well and was only in a black vest.

Navya was feeling extremely embarrassed to come infront of him in a shirt and white dupatta which she had tied around her waist like a skirt.It was coming above her knees and was exposing her bare legs.She took a deep breath and stood before him, looking down.

Anant was completely lost in her.He can't stop himself to notice her long strands of hairs which were half wet and half dried upto her waist hitting her face due to the winds and she was tucking them nervously behind her ear.Her exposed legs and her whole attire were making Anant uncontrollable to hide his desires for her.He looked at the other side to have a control on him.

Navya looked at him to find his muscular abs peeking out of his black vest making him look incredibely hot.

Anant caught her looking at him and without a second thought started moving towards her.Navya's heart beats raised faster as she saw him coming towards her.His eyes were filled with love,passion and desire.She started moving backwards in a reflex only to be caught between the hut's wall and him.She tried to move but he kept both his hands around the wall thus making her trapped.She gulped in fear as she she saw him coming closer to her.His eyes stuck upon her lips.She closed her eyes to feel his breaths strongly around her lips.
