Payal is sitting on desk writing something.. She reads it again and gives unsatisfactory look.. She crumples the paper and throws it in the air.. Paper lend in Kalpi's hand who has just entered in the room on her wheelchair... She looks around her.. Room is full of crumpled paper balls...

Kalpi : What is this Payal.. u know I can't clean this room in this condition and instead of cooperating u r creating further mess... this is not fair yr!!

But all her talks were falling on deaf ears.. Payal was busy in writing something and giving annoyed expressions.. Kalpi observes her face and holds her hand from writing further..

Kalpi : What happened?? Why r u so stressed??

Payal : Do not ask me anything.. From last 1 week I was writing article on modern woman.. Yesterday I completed it and editor approved it as well but now I am not satisfied with it. Today is the final submission.. I don't want to submit that one. Don't know what to do.. U just do not annoy me.. Sorry for the mess!! I will clean it later..

Kalpi : U write.. Maid will come in the evening.. I will tell her to clean the mess... Till than let me finalize few things about coaching venue!! Roy has met the broker today.. We will shift by next week. Neways I have bought this coffee for u..

Payal : U plz sit here only.. Ur presence will give me confidence..

Kalpi : Ok.. Do not worry!! Just close ur eyes and imagine a modern girl in ur mind and write about her.. But before that give me a sweet smile..

Payal smiles on Kalpi's insistence. Kalpi takes her laptop and tries to sit on the bed.. Payal gets up to help her... But Kalpi has managed alone.. Payal sits again and closes her eyes but doesn't get anything.. She opens her eyes again and sees Kalpi working on her laptop.. She looks at the cup on her table and smiles.. She hurriedly picks her pen and starts writing.. She completes her article and hugs Kalpi.. Kalpi too hugs her back.. Their fshp doesn't need words anymore.. Kalpi wishes her all the best for her article.. Before going out Payal searches something in Kalpi's closet.. Kalpi asks her what she wants.. but she says "It's a surprise. So do not aks"

Paakhi is sitting in her room reading a magazine.. She was flipping pages and getting bored!! Few pictures catches her attraction.. She looks at them closely and it was Kalpi in various dresses doing various work.. She gets happy and reads the title "Modern Woman : Kalpana"..

She starts reading it loudly, "When I was told to write an article on modern woman, I was very happy. I felt it was the easiest topic to write about.. I did my research and collected all information about modern woman.. The actresses, models and high society girls... But just a day before submission I tore it.. I felt this is not the modern women I want to write about... Than really who is a modern woman.. And than I notice my friend.. Kalpana. I felt she is the epitome of modern woman. Kalpana.. I do not know how to define her.. Should I call her dancing Diva but than what about her social work.. So I can define her as social worker but than she is a teacher.. A business woman...Not only that.. She is a perfect friend and a good daughter. For her the length of dress doesn't matter but the broadness of mind does. She gives stage performances with celebrities..but doesn't mind dancing in rain with kids..She believes in flying high but does not leave her ground. She owns her own business still she takes time to teach orphan kids... She signs big deals in the day but loves cooking in her kitchen...Her simplicity is her beauty.. She looks in the mirror to check whether she is presentable or not but not to attract people but to raise funds for NGO... Sometimes she wears expensive dresses but she doesn't mind spoiling them while helping others.. She is a one woman Army. She made me realize that modern woman is not the one who wears short dresses and goes to late night parties but those multitasking woman who takes care of their business with family.. Who believes in equality among genders.. who doesn't differentiate between rich and poor... Who doesn't blame the victims of rape.. who doesn't misbehave with AIDS patient.. "

Pakhi keeps on reading more with tears in her eyes.. She can't believe that her friend has achieved such heights.. She takes out her cell to call Kamla maa.. but decide to not bother her.. She calls someone in Delhi to know about the editor of the magazine.. From editor she gets Payal's number.. She calls Payal..

Payal : Hello

Pakhi : Hello Payal.. I am Pakhi.. I read ur article on modern woman.. The lady u descibed in that is my friend Kalpi..

Payal : Pakhi.. Pakhi Kapoor..

Pakhi : U know me??

Payal : Very well!! I always wanted to talk to u.. To thank u.

Pakhi : Thank me.. Y??

Payal : Coz of u only I got a frn like Kalpi.. U snatched my frn's love and her mother.. U gave her so much pain that she left the city and she met us. I know I should hate u for hurting our Kalpi.. But I am thanking u.. Neways why u called me?? What u want now??

Pakhi : I know I was wrong.. N I am happy that Kalpi has a frn like u. I want Kalpi's address. I wanna meet her.

Payal : N u think I will give u her number so that u can come here and hurt her more.. Sorry I can;t help u in this..

Pakhi : Look Payal.. It's really very important. Plz help me. It's for her happiness only.

Payal thinks what to do now.. She doesn't want Kalpi to meet Pakhi again and hurt her but She said it's for Kalpi's happiness.. She gives Roshni's address to Pakhi... Pakhi thanks her for the help.

Roy shows the article to Kalpi which Payal wrote on Kalpi.. He tells Roshni to come with her as Payal and Roy wants to show it to Kalpi.. Roshni agrees to go for Kalpi's sake.. When they are about to go Roshni gets a call from Payal.. She tells Roy to wait and receive it. Payal informs her about Pakhi's call. Roshni tells her that she did the right thing and leave rest on her.. She also tells Payal to send her Pakhi's number.. Roshni tells Roy to go alone and bring Payal and Kalpi here...

Roy reaches there and asks Payal about Kalpi.. She tells him that she is in her room and she has not informed her yet about the article.. They takes the magazine and goes to surprise Kalpi.. on reaching the room they finds Kalpi lying unconscious on the bed with a paper in her hand.. They gets frightened on seeing her like this.. Roy takes her in his arms and yells Kalpi.. He tries to wake her.. Payal notices the paper and picks to read it.. She reads loudly.. "Congratulations and Celebrations" Kalpi opens her one eye and smiles mischievously. Roy looks at her and they realizes it was Kalpi's prank..

Roy(angrily) : What the hell is this?? Was it a joke??

Kalpi : Arey.. Why r u getting serious.. U guys planned to surprise me so I thought to play along and scare u for hiding such imp thing from me.

Payal : So u knew about the article..

Kalpi : How can I forget such an imp date.. I have per-ordered today's magazine.. Hawker gave it today with newspaper.. Thank u Payal !! U described me beautifully.

Payal : I should say u thank u..u made my article beautiful.. My editor was angry on me seeing a new article but when she read about it she became so happy that she published it with ur photographs.

Roy : M still angry.. Will someone notice me??

Kalpi : aww.. M sorry..

Roy : U should be.. N promise me u won't repeat any such thing again.

Kalpi : Pakka baba!! I promise..

Roy : Ok fine.. Anyways mom has called u.. She wants both of u to stay with her tonight.

Kalpi and Payal packs some stuff for the night out. They advances to her car when Roy comes to lift Kalpi so that she can sit in car.. She reminds him that she is better and can manage with a mere support but Roy tells her that she doesn't want to miss an opportunity to lift her again.. Kalpi doesn't opposes him again and blushes in his arms.. Payal notices this and sings.. "Do dil mil rahe hai magar chupke chupke".. Roy and Kalpi feels embarrassed on listening this..

They reaches Oberoi mansion.. Roshni welcomes them and tells Roy to go to his room as it will be girls night out..Roshni tells the girls to get ready for Pyjama party.. They gets amused on hearing this when Roshni tells them not to be and she in young enough to enjoy such parties.. All three of them enjoys a lot.

Next day morning..

Kalpi and Payal are sittin in guest room.. Kalpi tells Payal that she is feeling weired. She knows Roshni very well and from yesterday she(roshni) is trying to cheer her up.. She feels as if she wants to tell her something and that's why called her here. Payal doesn't answers as she knows that Roshni wants to talk about Pakhi and Pakhi is coming to meet today and Roshni aunty wants Kalpi to meet Pakhi in her presence so that Kalpi doesn't feel lonely. While they were chatting Roshni tells Kalpi that someone has come from mumbai to meet her and she is waiting in study. Kalpi gets shocked on hearing this.. She asks who.. When Roshni tells her "Pakhi".. she gets shocked on hearing this...

Kalpi : I do not want to meet her.. How can I.. U know everything.. How can u let her come??

Roshni : Do u trust me??

Kalpi : Yes.. U r like my ayi.. I trust u blindly.

Roshni : than meet her.. Face the truth. N don't worry.. I will be always there for u..

Kalpi : ok aunty.. Send her in!!
