Sumitra had taken the ultimate decision to be the medium and give the joy of parenthood to her daughter Anandi and son in law Shiv. Her husband Bhairon was with her at every step of the way. Sumitra and Bhairon had taken the decision that hers would be the womb to carry Anandi and Shiv's child. They now had to tell his decision to both the families especially Dsa. Anandi and Shiv both knew Dsa's views on surrogacy, they wondered how would she react knowing that her own beenddi was about to take that step. Bhairon assured Anandi and Shiv that they would convince Kalyani Devi. Little did he know that his wife was not going to stop this time even if ma sa did not agree to it. She was determined for her daughter to have the joy of motherhood and was ready to go to any lengths for it. Bhairon and Sumitra returned home and Dsa saw them happy. She wondered how and why were happy when their daughter was going through a tough time. Sumitra and Bhairon went to their room after a small chat with Dsa.

Bhairon: Sumitra hum ma sa ko apne failse ke baare mein kaise batayenge?

Sumitra: Anandi ke bapu ismein sochna kya hai? Faisla toh hum kar hi chuke hain aur iss baar main kisi ki na sunne wali Ma sa ki bhi na.

Dsa: Thaari bhali hove beenddi!!!

Bhairon: Ma sa wo hum...

Sumitra: Ma sa maaf kijiyega par main failsa le chuki hoon.

Dsa: Kaiso failso? Aur tu faisla le chuki hai matlab ke hai? Main jo na kahoon toh kya tu pana faisla na badlegi mhaari upar jakar apni mannmarji karegi?

Sumitra: Ma sa maaf kijiyega par main aapke khilaaf jakar kuch na karna chahoon. Main aapki raza mandi chahti hoon par jo na mili toh bhi mera mann pakka hai.

Dsa: Ri beenddi gol gol kaye ghumaave baat ko seedhe seedhe bol ke failso kiyo hai tune?

Bharion: Ma sa hum aapko sab batate hain. Aap neeche chaliyue main bhaisa aur bhabhi sa ko lekar aata hoon.

Dsa goes down to the hall. After sometime Basant, Gehna, Bhairon and Sumitra come there.

Dsa: Haan toh Sumitra ab bol ke faislo kiy hai tune jo mhaare kehne se bhi na badlegi?

Bhairon: Ma sa wo...

Sumitra: Anandi ke bapu ek minute main ma sa se baat karna chahti hoon. Ma sa aap toh janti hai ki Anandi ki bacchedani tini majboot na hai ki won au mahine bacche ko apne andar paalkar use janam de. Sumitra: Ma sa Devima ne toh raasta sujha diya hai jis par maine chale ka faisla kar liya hai. Shiv ne surrogacy ke baare mein bataya tha, jahaan ye yugal ka ansh doosri aurat ki khokh mein rakha jaata hai... Anandi ko surrogacy ko lekar darr tha par ab uska ye darr door ho gaya hai. Ma sa main wo aurat banoongi jo humaare AnSh ka ansh apni kokh mein paalegi. Main apni beti ko ma hone ka suckh doongi.

Dsa: Sumitra!!! Je ke bole hai. Pap hai ye. Shrishti ke niyam ke khilaaf hai ye. Ye kadi na ho sake main iski ijaajat na doongi tujhe.

Sumitra: Ma sa maine aapse kaha tha na ki main failsa kar chuki hoon. Aur kya paap hai ismein? Aap maanti hai na iss shrishti ha sarjan Eeshwar ne kiya hai. Eeshwar ne manushya ko banaya hai. Toh usi Eeshwar ne manushya ko surrogacy ke baare mein sochne kiye use ek safal prayas banane ki himmat di hai. Ma sa maine do bachon ko janam doiya par santaan ka sukh mujhe sabse zyaada Anandi se mila hai. Sugna toh barso pehle byaah kar apne ghar chali gayi. Mera poot kapoot nikla bas ek Anandi hi thi mere paas. Ma sa aap bhi maanti hai na ki agar iss duniya mein sabse zyaada mamta ka sukh milna chahiye toh wo humaari Anandi hai. Ma sa meri bechaari bacchi bilakh bilakh ke ro rahi hai ek santaan ke liye. Jisne mujhe ma hone ka sukh diya mamta ka har anand diya use Anandi ko ye sukh na mile? Gehna: Par jeeji iss umar mein???

Sumitra: Gehna tu meri chinta na kar. Tere bhaisa aur maine saari test karwa li hai. Sab kuch theek se hoga.

Dsa: Arre bas karo tum sab. Main iss paap mein bhagidaar na banoongi aur na hi kisi ko je paap karne doongi. Anandi aur Shib ki khusi main bhi chahho par dharma ke khilaaf jakar na.

Dsa leaves from there, her two sons and daughters in law constantly watch her go up the stairs one at a time. When Dsa could no longer be seen they heard a sniffle. They turned to look in that direction and saw Anandi and Shiv there. They had witnessed everything. They had come to speak with Dsa and if she had agreed to it they wanted to thank her and then give the good news to the Shekhar's but there wasn't a good news. Anandi came to her parents and uncle and aunt.

Anandi: Ma main jaanti hoon ki aap ye humaari khushi ke liye kar rahi hain par main main nahi chahti ki aap apni khushi ko daav par laga de. Ma Dsa aur aapke rishtey mein meri wajah se kadvahat main nahi dekh sakti. Mat kijiye aisa mujhe aisa baccha nahi chahiye jo meri ma mere parivaar mein kaleh ki wajha bane.

Anandi ran away from BH. She hid herself in the place she felt most safe when she was in trouble, her school. She got busy in teaching the girls and trying to forget that she could have Shiv's child. Yet she could not stop dreaming how would it be to bring a child into this world even if it meant someone else was to give birth to it. Shiv was still at the BH. He did not run after Anandi because he knew that she needed time. Shiv went to Dsa's room.

Shiv: Dadiji main andar aa jaaoon?

Dsa: Haan Shi baa beta. Dekh Shib main thari aur Anandi ki khsi chahoon par beta main...

Shiv: Dadiji aapko mujhe kuch bhi kehne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Ye saari baatein bhool jaaiye. Dadiji aur unka ladesar milka kuch aur baat karte hain hum dono. Kya padh rahi hai aap?

Dsa: Main kya padoongi Ramayan ki siva ab iss umar mein.

Shiv: Ramayan? Dsa aapko pata hai humein bhi school mein Ramayan, Mahabharat, Bhagwad Gita sikhayi gayi thi. Mujhe Mahabharat ki ek kahaani yaad hai aapko sunaoon?

Dsa: Theek hai suna.

Shiv tells Dsa a story which he had heard in his childhood. Dsa listened to the story. When Shiv was done with the story telling Dsa smiled at him.

Dsa: Bado badmaash hai tu. Acche se jaane hai kaise sahi tark dekar apni baat ko manvaya jaaye.

She blessed Shiv and told him to go to the office. She would deal with her stubborn beenddi and her chidakly. Shiv went to the office and as he and Dsa had planned he went down with a sad face. Dsa called up Daddu and asked his entire family to be at BH for dinner as she had something very important to discuss with them. Dsa came down and told Sumitra to go with her. Bharion, Basant and Gehna all three questioned Dsa bbut one galre from her and all of them kept quiet. She smiled inwardly and felt like a little school girl who was hiding a big secret from her parents. She had not felt like this since she had first seen Shiv and decided that he was the one for her chidakly. Dsa and Sumitra came to Anandi's school.

Anandi: Dsa ma aap dono yahaan?

Dsa: Haan chhori chal zara bajaar se kuch khareedari karni hai.

Anandi and Sumitra were shocked to see this side of Dsa after the outburst she had had. Anandi, Sumitra and Dsa come to the local market. Dsa makes them shop for all weird things. The brought some wool, imli, amla, khatti meethi goli and things like that. Dsa also took them to a toy shop...

Anandi: Dsa ye sab aap kya le rahi hain aur kyun?

Sumitra: Ma sa inn sab cheezon ka kya kaam hai? Aapko pata hai na aap khatta nahi kha sakti aap ghutno mein dard hota hai.

Dsa: Chup kaor tum dono manne pato hai main ke kar rahi hoon Nau mahine kaise beet jaavenge tum dono ko pata bhi na chalega.

Anandi and Sumitra were both confused but the Dsa smiled at them and caressed their cheeks. She blinked indicating a yes. Anandi and Sumitra's joy knew no bounds they both squealed like school girls and hugged dsa and kissed her. The people who witnessed the scene were shocked to see their Maji sa, her beenddi and grand daughter so close. Anandi in her excitement forgot to call Shiv. After some time Shiv called her.

Shiv: Anandi this is not fair. Aap mujhe bilkul bhool gayi?

Anandi: Shiv aap aisa kyun keh rahe hain? Main wo aapko abhi phone karne wali hi thi...

Shiv: Haan haan pata hai phone karne wali thi. Dsa ne toh pana faisla kabke bata diya hoga bas aap apni khushi mein mujhe bhool gayi na? Ye accha hai sab kuch maine kiya par mujhe toh credit hi nahi. Credit nahi mili toh thodi na accha kam karne ka koi phal milega.

Anandi: Shiv aapko kaise pata... Dsa ka faisla... EK minute aapko kya credit... Aap kehna kya chahte hain? Aapne Dsa ko manaya aur wo maan gayi... Ha ha Dsa jo ma bapusa, taisa tausa se nahi maani unhe aapne manaya?

Shiv: Aur nahi toh kya? Wo kya hai na ki mera jadoo ladies par chal hi jaata hai.

Anandi: Oh jadugarji! Neeche aaye saatve asmaan se. Ladies par jadu chalana hai? Ghar aaiye ye lady jadu utaaregi aapka jhaadu se.

Shiv: Tch tch tch meri pyari Dadiji ko pata hai ki aap unse bhi jalti hain. Mrs. Jalkukdi.

Anandi: Accha Shiv please mazaak mat kijiye seriously bataiye na aapne ye sab kaise kiya?

Shiv: Bas Dadiji ko ek kahani sunayi aur wo maan gayi meri baat. Jaisi poti waise unki Dadiji.

In the evening, both the families met at Badi Haveli. As soon as Sumitra saw the Shekhar's she felt awkward and went away to her room. Daddu and the rest of the Shekhar's were curious to know what was the urgent matter they were called to Jaitser for. They just hoped that everything was fine between Anandi and Shiv. They asked the same to Dsa just then Anandi and Shiv entered hand in hand with smiles on their face. Now that everyone were there Dsa decided to break the news to them.

Dsa: Haan toh samdhisa maine aapko je kehne ke liye bulayo hai ki humein sab pata hai ki Anandi aur Shib ke beech ke huo tho. Main apki khoob khoob aabhari hon ki aap log mhaari chidakly ki sehat ke bare mein pehle socho ho aur apne vansh ko chalane wale ke baare mein bad mein. Samdhisa main jaanoo hoon ki apnee inn dono ko baccha god lene ki sehmati de di hai par Anandi ko Shib ko aur aapko aapke ghar ka waaris deno hai. Shib ne mhaare se surrogacy ke bare mein baat ki thi... Main pehle toh na samjhi na maani par Shib se baat karne ke baad manne samajh aa gayo hai ki ismein koi galti na hai. Anandi ko darr tha uss aurat ko lekar jo uske aur Shib ke nadh ko paalti apni kokh ke andar par uski ma ne uski je chinta bhi door kar di hai. Sumitra ne je faislo kiyo hai ki uski jis laado ne use itne saalon tak aur aanewale na jaane kitne saalon tak mamta ka such dene wali hai uski jholi wo mamata se bhar degi. Haan samdhisa Anandi ki ma ne ye faisla liya hai ki wo Anandi ko ma banne mein uski sahayta kare.

Shiv: Meri dadijee kabhi galat ho hi nahi sakti.

Daddu: Ye toh Sumitra bte ne bada hi himmat wala kaam karne ki sochi hai. I am very proud of her. Hai kahaan wo?

Bhairon: Jee wo...

Meenu: Bharion Singhji hum samajh sakte hain. Kya didi dur main unhe upar jakar mil sake hain?

Meenu and Ira along with Anandi and gehan come to meet Sumitra. They understood her position and hesistance to come in front of the Shekhar males. The 2 Shekhar ladies talk about Sumitra's decision and praise her for her brave move. Anandi convinces Sumitra to come down and join everyone for dinner. She was the main reason that everyone were together and she was the one who would bring the joy in their lives. Everyone enjoyed dinner and sweets. The Shekhar's went back to the CH with Anandi and Shiv.

A week later Anandi, Shiv and Bharion Sumitra go to the leading hospital in Udaipur. Sumitra's test were done once more and Anandi and Shiv samples were collected to being the procedure. The surrogacy procedure was done the day after. The doctor had a much needed talk with Bhairon in reguards of him maintaining distance from his wife for the next 24 hours after the procedure. Sumitra and Bhairon stayed at Kesar Buag. They were made to feel like at home. They were very happy to see their daughter so happy at her home with her family. Two weeks had passed since the procedure. Sumitra was not feeling any changes in her body. Before leaving for Jaitser Sumitra's one more check up was done. The doctor confirmed that the surrogacy was successful and that Sumitra was pregnant. Anandi and Shiv were going to be parents. The four of them left for Jaitser. Anandi and Shiv were very happy that they would soon be parents. Their happiness was only for so much time. As soon as they reached Jaitser they were faced by an angry mob lead by the thekedaars of religion. The angry mob threw stones at Shiv's bolero trying to hurt the people who went aginst God.

People: Ye paap hai paap sab paai hain. Humaare dharm ke khilaaf eeshwar ke khilaaf jakar tum ne ye accha nhia kiya Collector. Anandi, Bhairon Singh aur Sumitra tum bhi iss papa mein bhagi daar ho. Maro inko...

The started throwing stones at the car and were moving with sticks to hit the four of them. This news reached Badi Haveli. Dsa had no idea that the surrogacy had leaked to the people. They had not reacted at all during the time the procedure was being done at Udaipur. Shiv tried to address the angry mob but one stone hit him and he began to bleed. Before the mob could attack anyone else Dsa arrived with Basant, Gehna and Badi Haveli guards. Basant had also informed the cops who were on their way. Dsa's jeep came and stopped in front of Shiv's Bolero. Dsa stepped out of the jeep.

Dsa: Ruk jaao. Ke kar rahe ho ye?

People: Maji sa aap beech mein mat aaiye. Hum CS ko je paap na kane denge. Hum je na hone denge.

Dsa: Main na hatongi maarna hai toh manne bhi maaro. Maine ijaajat I hai inn logon ko.

People: Maji sa aap aise paap mein bhagidaar kaise ban sakti hain?

Dsa: Kaiso paap? Ek bacche ko iss duniya mein lana kabse paap ho gayo hai?

People: Maji sa bacche ko lana paap na hai par jis tareeke se la rahe hain wo paap hai. Hum aisa pap humaare Jaitser mein na hone denge.

Dsa: Theek hai pehle mhaari baat suno phir koi faisla karna. Ek baat batao kya kabhi eeshwar galat hove hain?

People: Kabhi nahi.

Dsa: Kisaan ho aap kaunse isht Dev ko maano ho?

People: Maji sa je kaisa sawaal hai? Balraam jee ko mane hain hum.

Dsa: Toh Balraam je eke janam ki kahani kaun nahi jaanta hai? Agar bhool gaye ho toh main ya dila doon. Blaraam jee Devaki aur Vasudev ki saatvi santaan hai. Hi ki nahi?

People: Haan.

Dsa: Toh aap log maante ho ki Balraamji Devaki aur Vasudev ka ansh hain.

People: Haan maji sa je baat toh jag jaahir hai. Ismein kaunsi nayi baat hai?

Dsa: Balram ji ko janam kisne diya tha? Devaki ne ya Rohini ne? Main batati hoon Balraamji ko Rohini ne janam diya tha. Toh Balramji ansh the Devaki aur Vasudev ke par unhe janam diya Rohini ne. Je baat galat na thi. Toh jo tab hua wo aaj galat kaise? Eeshwar kabhi galat na kare, jab eeshwar ne jo kiya wo galat nahi that oh jab wahi kaam Eeshwar ka bhakt kare toh paap kaise? Hum maante hain ki Eeshwar ki marzi ke khilaf ek patta bhi nahi hilta toh ye vigyanik ne jo ye kritrim garb dharan ke tareeka khoja hai usmein bhi toh Eeshawar ki marzi shaamil hai na. Toh ab batao ki jo mhaare bacche kar rahe hian wo galat hai kya?

The people discussed among themselves and the replied that Anandi and Shiv were not wrong. Someone hiding in the shadows was frustrated. He left from there before anyone could see him but he did not know that Dsa's hawk eye sight had already seen him. The people ask for forgiveness for their crude behavior. They wish their CS and Sarpanch Bitiya all the best and disperse. The Singh's also leave from there to go to the Badi Haveli. Anandi and Shiv also reach Badi Haveli. Sumitra noticed that Anandi was worried.

Sumitra: Lado tujhe pata hai teri Dsa tere bapusa se zyaada tujhe aur Sugna ko aur bhaisa se zyada Nandu ko pyar karti hain. Asal se zyaada sood pyara hota hai. Fikar na kar main theek hoon aur tera baccha bhi.

Anandi: Nahi ma wo main...

Sumitra: Beta toh kya hua agar tujhe fikar ho rahi hai. Nahi hoti to main daanti tujhe kin a tujhe ma ki parwa hai aur na bacche ki. Anandi teri fikar jayaz hai beta. Ek ma ko jab apna bacch apni kokh mein ho tab kitni fikar hoti hai aur ye toh tera baccha kisi aur ke kokh mein hai toh chinta hona toh swabhavik hai na. Ek kaam kar tu yahin ruk ja mere paas.

Anandi: Nahi ma iski koi zaroorat nahi hai. Jitna pyar jitni dekh rekh aapne meri ki hai uss se kahin zyaada aap mere bacche ki karengi mujhe iss baat par vishvaas hai. Par aapka khayaal rakhne ki zimmedaari main baki gharwalon ko deti hoon.

Everyone in agreement said that they would take care of Sumitra. Anandi and Shiv went to their home. They were very happy. Shiv was in the study. Anandi came and pecked him on the cheek.

Shiv: Ye kiss kis liye?

Anandi: Dsa ko kahaani sunane ke liye.

Shiv: Accha aapko kahani sunayi toh kya milega?

Anandi: Pehle sunaiye phir batati hoon.

Anandi and Shiv came to the bedroom. She lies with her back on the bed and he lies facing her. He begins to tell her a story and Anandi closed her eyes. After 10 minutes she did not hear anything. She opened her eyes to see that Shiv dozed off on hearing his own story. She caressed his face and gave him a peck. She put the comforter on Shiv and placed her shoulder and wnet to sleep peacefully thinking she would have fun with this and so would her family in Udaipur. Anandi was in Jaitser for a week. Every morning Shiv used to drop her at BH and then go to the office. Anandi used to spend the day with her mother and child. Anandi was very happy to see the attention and care Sumitra got from all. She was greatful to her mother for doing this but also was jealous as she could not enjoy this stage of motherhood. She would feel every movement, every change but not within her. She did not let her feelings come out in front of anyone other than Shiv. He used to console her that though she did not have the 9 months of the child growing insde her she had it for the rest of her life. She would have every moment, every birthday, every event of its life. She would be the one to teach it values, she would be the one to bring it up and give it a good life. The most important thing was that she would be the only one it would call ma'. Anandi waited for that day to come when she would hold her child in her arms.

A week passed and Anandi went back to Udaipur. She got back to her routine fo college, classes, assignments and also the job she took teaching at a night school for street children. Shiv and Bharion had had cameras installed in BH at all the places Sumitra could be seen by Anandi. They did not want Anandi to miss anything. Sumitra and Anandi talked on the phone or through web chat at regular intervals. Soon the time passed by and Sumitra was now in her second trimester. Anandi had her summer vacations and so she came to Jaitser. She stayed at BH the whole day and in the evening after dinner Anandi and Shiv went home. Shiv used to excitedly listen to Anandi talk about the baby. Anandi was many a times lost in her own happiness about the baby yet did not miss out on Shiv's yearning. The yearning was not for her love, that he got in tonnes, it was for the baby. He wanted to be close to the baby. He wanted to feel it like Anandi did but no matter how bold a step Sumitra took there was still a maryada between the son in law and mother in law. On her next visit to the BH Anandi spoke about this with Sumitra and Bharion. She told them that Shiv was missing out on being a father because of the surrogacy. Sumitra and Bhairon understood what Anandi said. They called Shiv to BH and that day Shiv felt the first kick of his child. The joy he felt was insurmountable.

Anandi, Shiv, Bharion and Sumitra used to go for evening strolls at Jaitser park. Dsa and Gehna took care of Sumitra in every way. She used to have weird cravings which Bhairon catered to with the help of Shiv. Bhairon gave her foot rubs which she tried him to stop but could not as they felt so good. He used to compliment her on her looks. They shared about her first pregnancy and the fears they felt with Shiv and Anandi. The entire family was united and made it easy for Sumitra at every step. Shiv and Bharion bonded on another level during this phase of their lives. Anandi and Shiv were with Sumitra at every doctors visit and ultrasound. The clippitty clop of their baby's heartbeat filled their hearts with joy. The first time they had seen an ultrasound they did not understand anything. The doctor had shown them a fleck on the screen telling them that that was their baby. Anandi and Shiv were very proud of creating such a beautiful thing. They shared those moments with Sumitra but alone at night at home they once again shared those moments and the joy of it. Every night Anandi and Shiv used to watch the ultrasound. Time passed by and Sumitra was now in the 7^th month. Dsa arranged for a God Bharai ceremony for both Anandi and Sumitra. It was a beautiful ceremony. Sumitra was going to give birth to a child and Anandi was going to become a mother. It was one in a million kind of occasion for the BH and KB families.

Anandi now shifted to BH to be with Sumitra. Shiv and Bhairon had a hard time staying away from their wives but all their qualms disappeared the moment they saw the two of them bond over the baby. Sumitra used to tell her stories from the time she was pregnant with Sugna and all the times Anandi troubled her. She thanked Anandi for giving her this chance. Anandi thanked her for everything she was doing. Sumitra tapped her on the head as a daughter is never supposed to thank her mother. Anandi used to talk to the baby after Sumitra fell asleep. She had knitted a complete sweater set for the baby. Dsa made new clothes for the baby even though it would be wearing old ones for a year. Anandi loved being at her maayka surrounded by baby talks and baby stuff. Shiv used to come there every evening and leave the next morning. He too had in a way shifted to BH. Anandi and Shiv had a nursery made at their homes in Jaitser and Udaipur. Sumitra was in her last month and the delivery date was 2 weeks away. Special preparations were done for her delivery. Everythitng was on stand by at all times as Sumitra could go into labor at any time. Anandi and Shiv were forcefully send on a date as Anandi was always busy with Sumitra and did not have much time for Shiv. Sumitra was in her room and Gehna stepped out just for a minute. The phone rang and Sumitra answered it.

Sumitra: Hello!

Male voice: Sumitra mujhe sharam ati hai tujhe apni ma kehte hue...

Sumitra:Jagya?

Jagat: Haan main Jagat bol raha hoon. Mujhe toh ye sochte hue bhi sharam aati hai kit u meri ma hai, maine teri kokh se janam liya hai. Usi kokh se jo ab kiraye ki kokh ban gayi hai. Mere saae doston ke samne mujhe neecha dekhna padta hai jab wo uss aurat ki misaal dete hain jo apni beti aur damaad ke bacche ko janam dene chal padi hai. Arre wo toh teri wah wahi karte hain par mujhe sharam aati hai. Aaj se tu meri ma nahi aur main tera beta nahi. Arre aisa kaam karne se pehle mar kyun nahi tum?

Sumitra could not believe that this was Jagya. The child she had carried for 9 months and then given birth to after suffering for hours in labor. She was disgusted at the thought that he was a part of her. He had hurled insults at her and cursed her, Anandi and the chil inside her womb. Her breathing got heavy but she contolled herself for the sake of the child in her womb. She did the breathing excercises she was taught. She was in control of the situation as she knew that she had done no wrong and the curse of a person like Jagat could not harm her or the child growing inside of her. Gehna came and saw her in that condition. She immediately called for help. Sumitra was calm by then but since it were her last days Bhairon suggested that they take her to the hospital. Bhairon and Gehna helped Sumitra take one sep at a time and brought her down to the jeep. Basant was already in the drivers seat and Dsa next to him. They brought Sumitra to the hospital. She was to remain there till her delivery. Sumitra thanked everyone and asked them not to worry as she was FINE!!! She felt a sharp pain. She had a few days but she was beginning to feel the pain. She was in labor. Bharion was with her and Gehna at once called Anandi and Shiv. They had to be there to see their child come into the world. Basant made a call to the Shekhar's. They were very excited and were leaving at once to come to Jaitser. Dsa too made a very important call.

Sumitra's labor pains were increasing. He contractions were very close. She was in the labor room and Bhairon was with her. Anandi and Shiv arrived before the delivery. Anandi rushed to the labor room. Her mother was doing one of the oughest things she had ever done. Sumitra had ben scared but on seeing Anandi her fear scared away. Anandi came to her mother's side. She was going to be her birth coach. Bhairon left as the doctor could not allow too many people in the labor room. He came outside and saw Shiv's nervousness. He gave Shiv an assuring smile. Now the wait would soon be over. Anandi and Shiv would be parents of a healthy child. Inside the labor room Anandi was coaching her mother to be string and to give birth to th child. She constantly said words of courage. Outside the labor room Dsa, Basant, Gehna, Bhairon and Shiv al were waiting to hear that first cry of the baby. They heard the siren of the police jeep. They saw a team of cops enter with Jagat and Gauri handcuffed. Everyone else other than Dsa were shocked to see the two of them.

Bharion: Inspector sahib ab kya kar diya hai inn dono ne?

Inspector: Bhairon Singhji aapki ma sa ne inke khilaaf complaint likhwyi hai ki inhone Sumitra jee ko maansik traas diya hai. Jiksi wajah se unki tabiyat kharab ho gayi aur unhe hospital laya gaya hai.

Bhairon: Ma sa?

Dsa: Sahi kehve hain inispector sahib. Sumitra ki halat kharab ho gayi thi wo iss kapoot ke kaaran. Hum jab Sumitra ke kamre ma=ein gaye the maine dekha ki Sumitra ka phone uske paas pada hai. Tum sab log Sumitra ko dekh rahe the tab maine uska phone dekha toh usemin iss kapoot ka number tha. Main chupke se use phone lagaya toh ye aur uski ye patni dono suru ho gaye Sumitra ko bhala bura kehne ko. Manne sab samajh mein aa gayo ki je iski hi karastaani hai aur je koi nayi baat na hai... Yaad hai tum logan ko jo Jaitserwasiyon ne hungama kiyo tho iss ssurrogacy ko lekar uss bakath bhi inhi dono ne logan ko uksaya tha. Tujhe ke lago Dr. Jagat mhaari aankhein tujhe pehchaan na paavegi. Arre toh aadha chehra ke poora bhi dhak lego na toh bhi je dokardi tujhe legi. Inispector sahib inn dono par ,haari beenddi ko pratadit karne ke liye aur uski au anjamnein bacche ki jaan ko khatre mein daalne ke liye mukadama chalo.

Shiv: Dsa jaane dijiye inn ono ko. Dekhiye aaj kitna shubh din hai. Aaj aap phir se par nanisa banegi. Dsa unka baccha hai unhe jaane dijiye. Wo kehte hain na jisko koi sahi raasta nahi dikha sakta ek din use uski aulaad sahi raasta dikhati hai. Bhagwaan sab dekh rahe hain. Unka baccha bhi ek din unke saath yehi sab karega tab shayad inhe apni galti ka ehsaas hoga. Inspector drop the charges. But on one condition ye log Jaitser district mein dobara dikhe toh aap ko jo action lena ho aap le sakte hain. Official permission main aap kal meri office se le lijiyega.

Jagat and Gauri were taken away. Just as their dark shadow was lifted a cry was heard. Everyone were very happy and screamed with joy. Shiv wanted to see his child and Bhairon wanted to meet his wife. They both rushed towards the labor room but Dsa stopped them. They could see their loved one when they were shifted to the room. They agreed to Dsa but everyone along with them were excited to know if it was a girl or a boy. The nurse came and told them that it was a healthy baby girl. Dsa removed a huge wad of money from her jholi and gave it to the nurse.

Shiv: Papa main papa ban gaya. Aap daddu ma dadi CM chhoti dadi, Mahi chachu aur Saachi bua ban gayi. Aur haan daddu se khaiye ab thode bade ho jaaye afterall ab bade daddu jo ban gaye hain.

The Shekhar's were overjoiced to hear about the baby. They would be reaching Jaitser in 2 hours but Daddu said they might take longer as now they had to shop for the princess. Anandi was with Sumitra and the baby in the labor room.

Sumitra: Doctor meri beti ki god mein uski beti ko dijiye.

Anandi: Nahi doctor pheli ise apni badi ma ko dijiye.

Sumitra: Badi ma?

Anandi: Haan ye aapko nanisa nahi badi ma kahegi. Uski ma ki ma hai aap toh hui na aap iski badi ma. Dcotor meri ma ne wo kiya hai jo duniya ki koi ma na kar sake. Bahut kasht saha hai inhone ise iss duniya mein lane ke liye. Duniya se ladi meri ma iske liye aur toh aur meri Dsa jinke saamne kabhi kuch nahi kaha unse lad padi mere aur meri bacchi ke liye. Toh ise apni god mein lene ka sukh sabse pehle meri ma ko milna chahiye.

Doctor: Ye toh lucknow ke nawab jaisi kahaani ho jaayegi. Main ek suggestion doon. Aap apni ma ke paas baith jaaiye aur main ise aap dono ko ek saath seti hoon. Beti, ma aur badi ma teeno ek saath miliye.

Anandi sat next to Sumitra. The doctor placed the baby in both their arms. It was a wonderful scene which Shiv and Bhairon enjoyed from outside. Joyous tears flowed and bright smiles adorned the faces of the parents. Sumitra was shifted to another room and Anandi brought the baby out to meet everyone especially her father who had waited for a long time to hold her in his arms. Everyone else went to meet Sumitra leaving the family of three to enjioy the first moments of a family life. Shiv began to cry as soon as she saw her. He counted her toes and fingers. He made sure that she could hear by cooing on each side. He was not at all afraid that eh would drop her. He saw her smile sweetly at him and then she yawned and closed her eyes. She was such a blessing for Anandi and Shiv. They were thankful to have her and would be for the rest of their lives.

A couple of days later Sumitra returned to BH and Anandi Shiv and their little angel were at Udaipur. Anandi and Shiv made sure that their daughters badi ma was not left out. Sumitra used to watch the baby on the web cam. She always took Anandi's side when she and Shiv fought about the baby's looks. A week later it was the naming ceremony for the baby. In KB there was no eldery lady so Dsa instructed Ira and Meenu for every ritual. Anandi did the surya poojan for her daughter. Then the naming ceremony began. Anandi and Shiv sat for the pooja for the baby. The punduit chanted the mantras and then made the baby girl's horoscope. Anandi and Shiv had a few names which they liked. The pundit said that the baby could be named from a' l' ee'. Anandi was thinking of a name when Shiv looked at Anandi, Sumitra and the baby. He thought of something. He whispered something in Anandi's ear. Her smile reached her ears. It was the perfect name of their baby girl.

Anandi: Anokhi. Anokhi Shiv Raj Shekhar.

Everyone clapped and understood that this was the perfect name ofr the baby girl. She was definitely Anokhi. Her grandmother had give birth to her so that her parents could become parents and have her in their lives. This kind of a surrogacy was not seen or heard of. The celebrations continued and Anokhi was like a parcel being passed from one hand to another. Shiv's eyes followed her every where. When he could no longer take people plyaing passing the parcel with Anokhi he stepped in and took her in his arms. He made sure that she was well taken care of, fed, burped, clean and fresh. The party was over and the guest left after blessing her once more. Dsa and her family too left after some time. Anandi and Shiv placed Anokhi in her crib in the nursery. They had made many plans for her first few days but when it came ot working on them they were surprised to see that the only main thing on their agenda was resting and enjoying the perfect little piece of humanity that had been entrusted upon them. Being new parents they found complete contentment and satisfaction they derived from simply watching her sleep.

Through out the next several months and years Anandi and Shiv discovered that there was much more to learn about the task of parenting and there were many suprises along the way which brought unexpected joy. Anandi was in her room and called up Shiv who was as usual running late for dinner.

Anandi: Shiv aap kab tak ghar aayenge?

Shiv: Anandi wo ek urgent meeting aa gayi hai. Aap dinner karke so jaana main yahin dinner kar loonga.

Anandi: Theek hai maine dinner kar leti hoon but dessert aapke saath hi khoongi.

Shiv: Ok umm Anandi mera favorite dessert ready rakhiyega. I am craving for it.

Anandi: Shiv aap bhi na. Abhi aap kaam mein mann lagiye. Accha Shiv jitni jaldi ho sake utni jaldi aaiyega.

Anandi had her dinner and she had Shiv's favorite dessert ready for when he came home. Shiv came home at aroung 10:30 pm. As his habit he honked when he entered the premises of their home. Anandi rushed to the door and posed there with her hands on her waist. Shiv opened the door with his keys and sropped them and his bag as soon as he saw the sight in front of him. Anandi stood there in a an attractive black colored cool and comfortable satin nightwear. Anandi loved the effect she had on Shiv. It made her feel more pretty when he looked at her. Anandi and Shiv both being too sweet, for a change they used to spice up their life from time to time.

Shiv: Koi toh shopping gaya tha Udaipur mein. Anandi Anokhi dekh legi toh?

Anandi: Anokhi apni badi ma ke ghar gayi hai.

Shiv: Oh toh ye baat hai. Iss liye Anokhi ki anokhi mumma ne ye anokha roop liya hai. Irada kya hai? Nek or not?

Anandi: Challenge.

Shiv: Anandi iss waqt mujhe challenge ki nahi aapki zaroorat hai. Please no games.

Anandi: Shiv suniye toh. The last person with maximum clothes on will rule in there in every way.

Shiv gave her a winners smile. He definitely had more clothes on that her so he would be the winner. He removed his jacket. Anandi was about to remove her right slip on sandal when Shiv stopped her. He laid only one condition that she remove her footwear last. Anandi very well knew that Shiv loved her legs especially when she wore heels. She removed her robe. Shiv removed his shirt and smirked as he thought that that was the 3^rd last layer of clothing covering Anandi's beautiful body. To his irritation it was not so. Anandi threw her head back and laughed when she saw Shiv being irritated and pouting. With every step they took towards the bed room a piece of their clothing came off. Finally Anandi and Shiv were in the bedroom. He pulled the blanket of of the bed and wrapped it aroud him and Anandi stood there in the last to pieces of her 8 piece nnightwear and her heeled slip ons. Anandi came to him and kissed him on his lips. Shiv let go ot the blanket and wrapped his arms around Anandi.

A warm moonlit night, stars sparkling in the skies. A smoldering flame sparks to life as they looked into each others eyes. Shiv reached out to pull her close to him. She felt a quiver of anticipation as he do. The tingling spreading throughout her makes her shiver in delight. As soft warm winds blowing in through the window caressed their bodies in the heat of the night. His gentle caresses caused the flames within to burst to life in blazing desire. She moved her body in hunger as to ecstasy as she climbed higher. Their tongues flick out to caress the other in a deep passionate kiss. He cover her with his body in all its hunger and passion. She arched upward to greet him in passion. They were as one in perfect unison. They had created perfect passion in such a union. He filled her with heat of his passion and desire. She could feel the tension of pleasure building higher. This age old dance of ecstasy soared to heights they had never dreamed of. This dance, the age old dance of passion and of expressing love. As the tension build higher and higher the tingling spread to unbearable dimensions. Then muscles rolled and shivered as release came from the sexual tensions. As his cry of passion met hers in the warm night. They had reached the height of ecstasy and delight. They were glad to make the most of this chance. It was one more night of passion.

Anandi and Shiv lay there in each others arms spent and satiated. They had been married for a month less 5 years now. Their love, respect, understanding and passion for the other grew with every passing moment. They laid there speaking of Anokhi. She was a perfect blend of the too of them. She was naughty at times and nice at others. At the age of 3 she was as innocent as an angle and cutely devilish too. Anandi and Shiv slowly drifted off. They got up with a startle as the door el ranbg at 3 am in the morning.

Anandi: Iss waqt kaun hoga Shiv?

Shiv: Main dekhta hoon.

Anandi: Shiv dhyan se...

Shiv quickly put on his shirt and pants. He opened the door and saw Bhairon with Anokhi.

Anokhi: Haw papa aap offish she aakar change nahi kiya. Aishe hi dirty dirty shoi shoi kiye?

Shiv: Bapusa kya hua? Anokhi iss waqt?

Anokhi: Wo kya hai na papa aapko pata hai ki mujhe meli blanky and pillow ke bina nini nahi aati. Mumma mujhe badi ma ke ghar bheji but blanky aur pillow nahi diye. Badi ma aur nanu ne mujhe shoi shoi karane ka bahut try kiya but amine shoi shoi nahi ki. Mujhe ghar aana tha toh nanu mujhe ghar le aaye. Aapko pata ahi badi ma ne merla favolite khan banaya tha. Main ice cream bhi kjhaya two two. Aap aate toh aapko bhi milta. Mumma kahaan hai? Shoi shoi kar gayi? Aapko Anokhi ghar par nahi mili toh aapne Anokhi ko phone bhi nahi kiya? Aapko Anokhi ki yaad nahi aayi? Aapne Anokhi ko missh nahi kiya? ...

Bhairon: Anokhi bahut raat ho gayi hai. ab aap shoi shoi nkaro baaki baat papa se kal morning mein karna. Good night.

Anokhi: Nanu aap ghar ja rahe ho? Aap itna thak gaye ho aap kitna sleepy ho aap bhi shoi shoi karo na.

Bhairon: Bilkul apni ma par gayi hai. Teri Rajdhani kisi station par rukti hai ya nahi?

Anokhi: Nanu aishe mat bolo ki main mumma jaishi hoon. Mumma papa dishoom dishoom karenge abhi. Aapko pata hai Anokhi mumma apap dono jaishi hai.

Shiv: Anokhi bas ab chalo papa ke paas aao. Nanu ko good night bolo unko ghar jana hai. Wo bhi aapke jaise apne pillow aur blanky ke bina shoi shoi nahi karte.

Anokhi: Papa aapko kuch nahi maloom nanu ko na pillow, blanky aur badi ma ke bina shoi shoi nahi aati.

Bharion was put in an embarrassing sitatuion. He left as quickly as he could. Shiv pulled Anokhi's cheeks caling her badmaash. He kissed her on the cheeks and rubbed his stubbled cheeks on her soft ones. She down from his arms.

Anokhi: Papa chubti hai.

Shiv: Accha chubti hai idhar aao papa aur karte hain. Anokhi nahi mumma papa ke room mein nahi apne room mein so jaao.

Anokhi ran into Anandi and Shiv's room. Shiv frantically ran in behind her. He brethed of relief when he saw Anandi in her regular nightwear. She got enough time to change and clear the room all thanks to Anokhi's trait which she got from her mother. Her non stop bak bak. Beofre Shiv could pick her up and take her to her room she climbed on their bed and settled in the middle. She patted on her either sides and asked them to come sleep. Anandi lied on Anokhi's right side. It was a perfect picture Anandi, Anokhi and Shiv but it was still incomplete. Shiv went out of the room and came back with...

Anokhi: Bhaiyyu...

Anandi: Shh. Anokhi chup Shaurya so gaya hai.

Shaurya was Anandi and Shiv's son. They had adopted him when he was 3 months old. Anandi was working with an NGO as a teacher for street children. A month old Shaurya had been rescued by the same NGO from the strrets from parents who abused him. Anandi and Shiv made a wise fully thought decision to adopt that rescused baby. He would need parents and a family who would open their home and hearts to him. Anokhi was made to understand at 2 years of age that the angels she read about in story books ahd send her a precious gift for being a good girl. She had in one moment accepted him as her younger borher. Anandi and Shiv's family had been completed the day they adopted him. Anandi had become a mother of 2 unique children and she had not given birth to either of them.

Anandi and Anokhi shifted a little to make place for Shaurya. Shiv placed their one year old son, Shaurya on the bed on Anandi's side of the bed. He was scared that he could squash Shaurya in his sleep as Shaurya was so small and he was so huge. Anandi, Shuarya, Anokhi and Shiv slept comfortably on the huge king sized bed. Anandi and Shiv patted their children till they fell asleep. The bond between parent and child is extremely strong. Anadi and Shiv enjoyed many of the joys of parenting which they had expected but there were also many other thrills that snuck up on them when they least expected for which they never knew to prepare for. Anokhi and Shaurya were angels at times and double trouble on other. Parenthood brought immeasurable, complete and utter joy along with trials, tribulations and difficulties to their lives. There is no job in the world that was tougher than being parents and it did mentally and physically exhaust Anandi and Shiv yet, in the end it was completely worth it.

The sun came up bright and early. A new dawn would bring new changes in Anandi and Shiv's lives. Shiv left for his office and Anandi went to the Sarpanch office after dropping Anokhi at her school and Shaurya at Badi Haveli. At night Shiv came home and he was a bit low and tired. After dinner and family time Anandi and Shiv came to their room after putting th children to bed in their rooms. Anandi knew that something was troubling Shiv. He would have shared it already with her if it would not be something which would make her sad too. Shiv was lying face down on the bed and Anandi came after changing into her night wear.

Anandi: Shiv aap bahut thak gaye hain kya? Chaliye aaj main aapki thakaan door karti hoon. Kuch aisa karti hoon jiss se aapki thakaan choo mantar ho jaayegi aur jo maine bahut dino se nahi kiya hai.

Shiv: Anandi aaj kuch karti hoon matlab? Kal raat ki baat bhool gayi kya jo aap keh rahi hain kai dino se nahi hua.?

Anandi: Shiv aap bhi na... Main massage ki baat kar rahi hoon.

Anandi began rubbing Shiv's shoulder muscles. Shiv felt relaxed. Now was the perfect time to get Shiv to open up.

Anandi: Shiv bataiye kya baat hai.

Shiv: Anandi wo mera transfer ho gaya hai. Udaipur.

Anandi: Kya transfer? Aise achanak?

Shiv: Haan wo Udaipur ka collector kisi scam mein involved hai. Mera home town Udaipur hai toh CM ne mujhe transfer order diya hai. Anandi aise achanak transfer... Aap?

Anandi: Shiv aapka kisi ujjad door darraz ki jagajh mein bhi transfer ho gaya na toh bhi main aapke saath jaaoongi. Bacche bhi khushi khushi chalenge. Shiv jahaan aap hain wain main aur bacche honge.

Shiv: Anandi Shaurya ka theek hai baccha hai but Anokhi thodi badi hai. Uska school hai yahan friends hain. Uska nanihaal hai yahaan...

Anandi: Shiv aap tension mat lijiye. Sab theek ho jaayega. Kab jana hai Udaipur?

Anokhi: Udaipur? Mumma hum vacation ke liye ja rahe hain but mela toh school hai.

Anandi: Anokhi shoi shoi nahi ki?

Anokhi: Ki pa susu aayi toh uth gayi. Ooo mumm jaldi button kholo nahi open ho raha.

Anokhi went to the washrrom. When she came out Shiv and Anandi told her about them moving to Udaipur. To their surprise she was very happy as now she could tell her friends that she is going to Jaitser for during vacation. Her parents hardly ahd time to take herfor a vacation to different places. Her vacations were always mostly in Udaipur where as her class mates went to many near by places. Anandi and Shiv went and made her sleep in her room. Anandi and Shiv stood outside her room for sometime and then stood outside Shaurya's room. They came to their room. Anandi and Shiv were on their bed in each others arms.

Shiv: Anandi hum Udaipur mein KB mein nahi wahaan ke CH mein rahenge. Aapko wahaan sab kuch shuru se shuru karna hoga.

Anandi: Shiv aap fikar mat kjiye sab theek hoga. Mana ki abhi phir se humein sab kuch churu karna hoga. Time is going to tough once again but hum saath hain toh phir kya ghum.

The next afternoon Anandi, Shiv along with their children Anokhi and Shaurya were given a heart felt emotional farewell. Friends and family filled their lives with happiness and lauighter giving them memories to treasure on this day and forever after.

Anandi, Shiv, Anokhi and Shaurya would begin a new life in Udaipur in a new home which would be filled with love. A home where new life would begun and love never ends.
