Taani got ready for the party which was thrown for the celebration of their coming engagement.

Rey looked up as he heard the heel tapping on the floor. He looked up and found Taani standing there. His eyes raked over her outfit. Then, to her face. Of course, dancer's body is something which is very noticeable. The white lace dress was covering her body. Her flat toned stomach was imaginable under the cloth. It was fitting at her every curve. It hardly reached till her mid thigh. Rey watched as Taani took a little step back. Taani felt his eyes on her. Already, the short dress was making her uncomfortable. But, once she can deal with that. But, dealing with dress in an uncomfortable company was something, she wasn't looking for.

Rey stood up and walked towards her. Again, taking every inch of her form in his mind. He was sure, the horny people from this industry are going to pounce on her in the party. Rey walked towards Taani and...

Rey walked towards Taani. She gulped soundly, her palms were sweaty. His eyes were fixed on her face as if he was capturing her every flicker of expressions. He stopped mere inches away from her, making her breathless from their proximity. Her eye level was straight on his chest. She gulped as her eyes trailed on his profile. A v-neck grey shirt, showing his chest and a dark blue jeans, hung loose at waist.

Her eyes met his. Those orbs were perfectly focused on her, she could see her reflection in them. Suddenly, air seemed too much cold around them. She ran her tongue over her dry bottom lip, making him, shift his focus on them. Rey felt his heart actually stopped for a mere second and then suddenly started pumping, shooked his entire net of veins by pumping blood into them with force. Rey quickly averted his eyes on her face. He exhaled a deep breath, soundlessly and composed himself.

"Come on, we are getting late." His voice came out, deep and husky, making her gulp. She nodded her head and murmured a "yeah" under her breath. Without wasting time, Rey turned, Taani following behind him. They left the Singhania Mansion and walked in parking lot. Rey halted for a minute, as soon as Taani came near to him. He pressed his hand on her small back and they started walking towards his Range rover Evoque. Today, he was going to drive as there will be media outside the venue of the party. They both climbed into the car and Rey roared the engine to sped off.

As expected, media was already there. All excited, roaring for the captures, hungry for the gossip topics. Every reporter, cameramen were roaming their eyes, searching, trying their best to capture everything. As soon as, Rey pressed the horn to move them aside. All reporters literally jumped on their car. All bright flashes were flicking, making them all blind. Rey was wearing black shades for this reason only. The car was hugged from all the sides by media. But, Rey kept driving. Taani just wanted to vanish into the thin air. She looked around slowly, careful with the expressions on her face. She felt like someone was trying to stop her breathing. Suffocation... This was not at all comfortable for her.

Finally, they parked the car. Bouncers had circled their car, restraining reporters from jumping on the car. Rey opened the door quickly and walked around the car and in a minute, he opened Taani's door. Taani unclamped the sit belt and turned to come out. But, a hand was waiting for her.Her eyes flickered up and set on, Rey , waiting for her, looking intently at her. She smiled slightly, aware of the reporters. She gave her hand in his. Her soft palm was covered with his warm one. He put a hand around her waist and hoisted up and quickly put her on her feet. He circled his arm securely around her waist and pulled her towards his side.

He smiled and waved at the reporters, who were forwarding their mikes, recorders, bombarding question like bombs. He let them capture some of their pictures. Suddenly, he leaned and nudged his nose in her cheek, then in her neck. His lips were on the curve of her neck.

"Be with me only. Some people might just not want only talk with you." He whispered softly. His lips moved on her skin. His hot breath was on her skin, making her shiver little. She nodded slightly. He kissed her on her neck, trailed towards her cheek and planted a soft kiss at the corner of her mouth.

"Let's go inside." He looked down at her and squeezed her waist. They both turned, walking away from the mob of media, entering into party house.

The two large doors opened and Taani felt like the floor beneath her heels was shivering, like earth-quake was coming. Her heart actually slammed back, when the heavy waves of loud music banged on them. Even in that loud music, faint murmurs, loud hooting was clearly heard. Rey grinned and they both entered. The door behind them closed and the impact of loud music was increased. All eyes were turned and stopped on them.

"Wooohhooo..."

A loud cheer boomed in the club. Bartenders kept doing their work, but they also stole a glance towards the couple. Taani and Rey started coming more in, passing through the bunch of people, who were congratulating them, hooting at them, raising their glasses filed with some sort of liquids-acknowledging them. They had to stop as some of the people launched at Rey and hugged him. Even, some girls wrapped in minimum clothes, wrapped around Rey like a snake. Rey kept a polite smile on his face. As soon as snakes-girls would unwrapped themselves from him, he would quickly pull Taani to his side, making sure no male company was hugging her or touching her.

They could finally made their way in lounge area and grabbed an aloof corner. But, as soon as they settled, the corner was most crowded. Hundred glasses of vodka were roaming from here to there. A full tray of glasses of vodka, was placed in front of Rey and Taani. Some of the friends of Rey were at his side, chatting with him. And some of the unknown girl whom , Taani never met or seen were trying to converse with Taani like they knew each other for years. Taani just introduced herself and remain distant as much as possible.

She slightly turned her eyes sideways, Rey was thrusting the liquid into his system. Her eyes trailed on the tray and the empty small glasses around the tray. She tried to breath normally but she couldn't. The mob was almost squeezing them, not passing zero point one percentage of oxygen. People were hovering over them, continuously talking.

"Come on now.. Shooo away all of you."

A strong , deep voice said from behind the group of people. Some of the people left and some of them just stayed. As people left, the owner of the voice came into the view. Rey grinned and stood up on his feet. A heighted same age as Rey, with a handsome faced man hugged Rey. He patted on Rey's back. Rey broke the hug. The man lifted his eyes towards Taani and just stilled. His eyes shamelessly trailed on her body. From her exposed long legs, chest and then her face. Taani stiffened in her sit. She felt exposed as if he was undressing her with his eyes.

Rey walked towards Taani and offered his hand to her. She hesitatingly took his and stood on her feet. She didn't want to as the man in front of her had now advantage to see her more clearly and more closely. Rey wrapped arm around her waist, his fingers on her stomach. Rey looked down at her as his fingers could feel her skin through the material of the dress. Taani lifted her eyes, nervously. Rey felt like she was sinking into his side. If he wasn't keeping her hand on her stomach, she would have been standing behind him. He looked up and saw, Aditya Sharma smirking at Taani. His eyes lingering on her body. A sudden rage gripped him. He gritted his teeth and wrapped his arm tightly around her waist.

"Aditya"

He shouted over the loud music. "This is my fiance- Taani." Rey introduced. Rey tilted his head and glared at Aditya. Aditya met Rey's eyes. There was a fire of challenge. Aditya shoot up his hands in surrender. Then, he looked at Taani and took her hand though he felt like she was trying to remove it. But, she let it go. Aditya pressed his lips on her knuckles. Taani felt the creepy sensation. Like, Aditya was wasn't just pressed his lips, he wanted to more than that. She quickly, very swiftly snatched her hand from his grip. She just couldn't stand in front of the eyes who were scanning naked.

"I need a drink." She said to Rey and without waiting for his response, she hurriedly walked away from him. Panic gripped her and she entered into the bunch of people. She somehow made her way towards the bar. She panted and took a sit on the stool.

"Need a drink mam?" A bartender asked. She nodded while panting. A glass of vodka was placed in front of her. She gripped the glass in her palm. Taking a deep breath, she touched the rim of the glass to her lips and titled the base of the glass in upwards direction. The all liquid traveled into her throat. Taani slammed the glass on the bar counter. Her throat was burning. She shook her head frantically.

"How The Hell People drink this!!!" She exclaimed. Bartender put another glass in front of her of vodka. Her instincts were telling her to not to touch it but glass was already near her lips and the liquid entered again. But, this time the burning sensation subsided. She slammed the glass again and took another.

Fourth...Fifth...Sixth..

She felt a hand pressed on her back. A breath on her neck. Her hair were on her one shoulder, exposing her another shoulder. She felt someone was breathing on her shoulder and her mental instincts were booming with alarm. She lifted her head and found unfamiliar lips near her shoulder. She quickly slide forward and stood and turned around. There he was, Aditya Sharma.

"What the hell, you were doing??" She shouted at him. But, everyone was so busy and were unable to hear as music was too much loud. Bartender was attending someone else.

"Feisty, eh?" Aditya smirked. He leaned, too much near to Taani. " Do you know what I do to the feisty ones in my bed?" He whispered near her ear. A shiver of panic run through her spine. With a swift moment, Taani pushed Aditya and walked, stumbling as vodka was showing it's magic, she entered into the bunch of people. She walked anywhere she got the space with panic surging in her system. Suddenly, she bumped to the wall. But, arms grasped her waist and steadied her. She gripped something hard, she could feel it under her fingers. She looked up and find, familiar pair of orbs were staring down at her, eyebrows knotted. She exhaled and pressed herself more forward.

"Taani??" Rey asked as Taani looked back and then suddenly pushed her body nearly into his arms. Since, the crowd was getting too much wild, he walked with her in his arms, till their corner. He looked around and found Aditya looking right back at them. Specially on, Taani. Taani looked around frantically and her eyes caught Aditya. She quickly turned and looked at the other side. Rey looked down at Taani as she turned her head in opposite direction from Aditya. He looked at Aditya who was not there. He looked around, but couldn't find him.

Rey helped Taani and make her sit besides him. Suddenly, he was restless. He didn't like the way Aditya was smirking at Taani and the way Taani literally thrust into his arms like she was trying to hide herself. He kept scanning the crowd, searching for Aditya. Aditya Sharma- A young director of many hit films. Rey did many films with Aditya. And he also know, how cheap Aditya is.

They were sitting in the corner. Taani was out of reach for the visitors. Rey suddenly pulled Taani and set her in his laps. He pressed his fingers on her stomach, near the belly button. Taani stiffened in his arms. There was a feeling of being safe, his arms were around her securely. But, this was all fake. She closed her eyes and opened them. Since, she didn't had much vodka, she wasn't in that bad state. Taani exhaled shakily. Her heart was thumping loudly. She was sure, if the place wasn't so much noisy, Rey could have hear her heartbeats. She sat on Rey's lap, uncomfortably. Somehow, The crowd decreased around them, granting some air for the lungs. She relaxed little in his arms. As people decreased, Rey put Taani down but his hands were on her shoulders.

"I told you to not to go anywhere without me. Every person, is not only going to talk." He hissed at her. She bite her lips and gulped. Rey closed his eyes and controlled the rage he was feeling.

"Come on. Time for cake cutting." Rey whispered to her and helped her on her feet.

He and Taani walked towards center, hand in hand. Suddenly the music was stopped and soft murmuring was floating around them. A trolly rolled on the floor with a cake balancing on it. Some people cheered and hooted.

Rey pulled Taani in front of him and took the knife and placed it in her hand. He gripped her hand in his. The cake was too much big and very beautifully Congratulations was written on it, with small creamy roses around them. On the big screen, every picture clicked of Taani and Rey was rolling. Their kiss on the terrace, party pics, everything.

Rey put his arms around Taani and sink the knife into a cake, cutting a small piece. He grabbed the piece and let her take the bite and then, he take the bite exactly from where she had taken. He passed the piece and turned towards Taani.

He leaned and said, "Kiss me."

Taani gasped and looked up at him. He was staring down at her. Her lips were having icing and chocolate was spread on her bottom lip. Rey's eyes roamed on her kissable lips. Suddenly, Taani's eyes caught Aditya. She gulped and grabbed Rey's shirt and crashed her lips with his. Rey himself got surprised. Taani just pressed her lips on his. Then, Rey took the charge. He pulled her closer and cupped her chin. He leaned back and quickly spread remaining chocolate on her bottom lip with his finger and stroking his finger on her lips, her eyes roaming on her delicate features. Taani exhaled slowly, her bottom lip quivered and her eyes fluttered closed. Rey leaned and pressed his lips on hers. He brushed gently his lips on hers, making her shiver, her palms fisted his shirt.

Very slowly, he licked her bottom lips, roaming his tounge, loving the taste of the chocolate. He nibbled on her bottom lip and then pressed a soft kiss on them. The people around the clapped loudly. Rey snapped to the reality and leaned back. Taani slowly opened her eyes,catching her breath. Rey looked down at Taani who was panting. Her lips were slightly swollen due to his nipping and licking...

Rey placed his lips on her forehead and received wishes from people. After conversing to people, Rey turned to Taani and took her palm and planted a kiss softly on her skin. He smiled at Taani and turned with her. But, they both stopped in track.

Aditya was standing there, smiling. Well, too much sweetly looking at them.

"How are you, Aditya? You were missing for some period from the party. Well, I will be more happy if you get lost and never come near to my finance. Is that clear?"

Rey smiled but his eyes turned into ice cold. Taani gasped after she heard Rey. Aditya fumed with anger.

"I can't believe it. You are actually settling?" Aditya chuckled. "You are marrying a choreographer. I am no fool, Rey. Come on eventually, you will get bored of her. So, why not to share." Aditya hissed.

Rey fumed with anger. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY ABOUT HER??" He shouted. But, suddenly loud music started at that moment only.

Aditya smirked. " You know.. I met Kia last night and guess what she was with Raj Manchanda. What happened Rey? She dumped you? Hmmm..." Aditya hummed to the tune and left from there. Very few people were knowing that Kia and Rey were in relationship. Somehow, Aditya was aware of the news. But, Rey never thought he would rub it in his face. Taani felt as she was standing beside a stone because, Rey's body turned very rigid. He removed his arm from her and marched towards the smoking are where no one was present.

The pulse on his neck was throbbing. He gritted his teeth and punched his fist on the wall beside him. The blood slide down from the wall.

"Rey.." Taani gasped as she saw the blood sliding down. Rey whipped around and looked at Taani with rage. All the memories replayed in front of his eyes. All the betrayal, lies, fake promises, everything. Suddenly, Rey felt like he saw blurred image of Taani. He blinked. Alcohol was started to show its effect. He groaned and blinked more times. He finally adjusted his vision. Taani watched as Rey mumbled something to himself. He suddenly grabbed Taani by her arm and pulled towards him, slamming her back on wall. Taani winced.

"Remember Taani. In few days, you will be Mrs. Singhania. Don't ever betray me. Don't. Mujhse bura koi nahi hoga.." with that, he grabbed her hand and dragged her in the party.

Taani opened her eyes and rubbed her palms on her face massaging her face, under the shower. They called driver and drove home back. Rey didn't say anything, he just jogged to his room and slammed the door behind him. Taani decided to take the shower.

She wrapped the towel around her and picked up her night gown. She removed the towel and let silk wrap around her body, on her skin. She turned the knob and walked out. She sit on the end of the bed and looked down. Her hair was still damp.

Remember Taani. In few days, you will be Mrs. Singhania. Don't ever betray me. Don't. Mujhse bura koi nahi hoga..

Those words echoed again and again. She gripped the blanket in her fists. Tomorrow, she is going to be engaged. She looked up and looked at the oval shaped clock, hanging on the wall.

2:40am.

In very few hours, she will be having few days to get married to the man and she knows nothing about him.

A one mistake of her Bhai, and she is the one who is facing the consequences. She whimpered as tears pooled in her eyes. She quickly stood up and walked towards window.

A mild cold wind was dancing in the atmosphere. Sky was so much clear, it was glowing with all the sparkling stars and the moon was brimming, smiling with the stars.

She blinked and let the tears flow.

"Maammaa.. paappa... Please, come to me.. please.. I..---I really..need.. you..." She whispered, while her voice was breaking. She closed her eyes and tilted her head up, towards the sky. The cold air kissed her skin, Taani wrapped her hands around her torso and rubbed her palms on her shoulder.

After some minutes, she opened her eyes and watched the sky.

"I need to be strong. I am your daughter and your daughter never cried, NEVER. " She whispered softly. She nodded to herself and walked to the bed, led down.

She casted a last glance towards the sky and blinking, she closed her eyes.
