On the wedding day

Rudra gets ready and was looking very dashing and handsome. As soon as he came out of his room everyone becomes dumbstruck seeing him. dai maa comes and does his aarti. She puts a kala tika on him.

Shrijana: my son is looking very handsome. The best looking groom ever.

Rudra blushes. Dai maa was surprised to see him blushing. She teases him.

Dai maa: I didn't know that you can blush.

Vajramitra: your mother would have been so proud and happy today. I knew it was her wish to see you getting married to shambhavi.

Everyone becomes emotional remembering kannika. rudra changes the topic and says.

Rudra: stop teasing me dai maa.can we go now?

Baldev: yes why not we know how much eager you are to get married.

Everyone laughs and the wedding procession left for videha. The wedding procession was very grand. It looks like it was the grandest var yatra one has ever seen.

In videha's palace

shakuntala and some other girls were making shambhavi ready for the wedding. She was looking heavenly beautiful.

Shakuntala: rudra is gonna faint today. He is very lucky that he is getting married to prettiest girl in this world.

Shambhavi: it could be vice versa. He is also very handsome.

Shakuntala: oh wow!! You are already taking his side. But I am sure you'll be the one who'll look better and he'll be dumbstruck when he'll see you.

Padmavati comes in shambhavi's room along with raunak and radha maa. raunak was looking very cute. They become awestruck watching her as bride. Padmavati goes near her and puts a kala tika on her.

Padmavati: my daughter is looking very beautiful.

She becomes teary eyed but controlled herself. Shambhavi too becomes emotional.

She says.

Padmavati: no tears today. Today is a very auspicious day. Your dream is coming true. You are getting married to one you love. What else can be better than this and I am sure that rudra will keep you happy always.

Radha maa: yes its time to rejoice. You are finally becoming one after facing so many hurdles.

Shambhavi hugs padmavati and radha maa. raunak says.

Raunak: you always forgot me. I won't talk to you two.

He shows fake anger and turns around. Shambhavi turns him towards her and says

Shambhavi: my sweet little brother. Now it's your responsibility to take care of maa and pitaji in my absence.

Raunak: don't worry didi. I will take care of maa and pitaji. I am as strong as you are.

Shambhavi kissed his forehead and hugs him.

Padmavati and shakuntala takes shambhavi. Vikramaditya was waiting in courtroom. He saw shambhavi in bridal attire and becomes emotional. He becomes speechless but somehow managed to say.

Vikramaditya: my daughter. You know how much we love you. I just want to say always stay happy.

He lovingly strokes her head and they all goes to take blessings of maa kali. while they were standing before the idol of maa kali. Some soldiers come and inform the king that baraat has arrived outside the kingdom. Vikramaditya and padmavati becomes enthralled hearing this.

Vikramaditya: go and welcome them..

Padmavati: shakuntala would you help me in preparing aarti's thaal.

Shakuntala: of course you don't have to ask badi maa. Your wish is my command.

Vikramaditya along with his relatives goes outside the palace. Padmavati along with other ladies goes to make preperations for varmala ceremony and tilak. As soon as barat entered in the kingdom all the people started showering flowers on everyone. Everyone was amazed to see such a grand welcome and was impressed with the decoration. The people of videha were also delighted to see a grand wedding procession. They couldn't stop themselves from praising and admiring the groom. Everyone was watching him with moony eyes.

An hour later..

Vikramaditya along with padmavati, shakuntala and many other relatives were waiting on the main entrance of the palace. Padmavati was carrying Pooja thaal in her hands. After few minutes they saw the baraat coming towards kingdom. Every becomes elated. Shakuntala becomes surprised and awestruck seeing Rudra. He was looking even more handsome than she thought. She remembers shambhavi's words of Rudra being so handsome. She smiles. Vikramaditya welcomes vajramitra and his family. They hug and puts a garland on his neck. Vikramaditya folds his hand and welcome him. Vajramitra stops him and says.

Vikramaditya: although we are becoming relatives but we'll always remain best friends.

Vikramaditya smiles. Padmavati steps forward and puts a tilak on rudra's forehead. She looks at him adoringly and smiles. Rudra also smiles. She does Aarti and asks shakuntala to bring shambhavi. Shakuntala was about to go but raunak comes and stops her. Be says to Rudra.

Raunak: you can't meet ny sister untill you give me something. After all i am her only brother.i am giving you my sister what would you give me.

Rudra: hmmm what do you want? Let me guess. You want to become a great warrior like your sister that why i brought you this.

He takes out a beautiful sword with lots of diamonds and many other gems on its scabbard.

Rudra: I brought this for you.

Raunak becomes extremely happy and takes the sword.

Rudra: now would you let me meet your sister?

Raunak: ofcourse.

Shakuntala goes to bring shambhavi. After sometime shakuntala with some other girls bring shambhavi but they were standing behind so many people. Both were very eager to see each other.all the people stand aside when they saw shambhavi standing behind them. Rudra saw shambhavi and becomes dumbstruck seeing her. Shambhavi didn't look at him. She was too shy to look at him. she deliberately looks downward. Rudra was looking at her continuously without blinking his eyelids. Birju comes and stands near him. He says.

Birju: ahem ahem..i know how are you feeling right now but if you continue staring at her with your mouth wide open then i am afraid everyone will laugh at you.

Rudra heard his words and comes back in real world. He closed his mouth.

Birju: don't worry nobody saw you staring except me.

He pulled his leg and Rudra glares at him. Shambhavi slowly walked towards him with a garland on her hands. Shakuntala was carrying another garland on a thaal for Rudra. Rudra was looking at her lovingly. Shambhavi was feeling his intense gaze towards her which makes her look even more downwards. When she reached near padmavati and vikramaditya she stopped. Shrijana,vajramitra and baldev looks at shambhavi proudly and admire her.padmavatilooks at shambhavi and nods in yes. Shambhavi steps further and was standing very close to rudra. Shambhavi slowly lifts her eyes and looks at her who was looking at her with a sweet smile on his face. She wants to keep looking at him. she becomes mesmerized watching him. She lifts her hands and puts the garland around his neck. Everyone showered flowers on them. Shakuntala gives garland to rudra and he puts around shambhavi's neck. Everyone becomes happy.both were still looking at each other. Vikramaditya says

Vikramaditya: please come inside.

Everyone goes inside the palace. Rajpurohit starts rituals like cleaning of groom's and his family member's feet by bride's father.while rajpurohit with some other pandits was busy performing the rituals rudra and shambhavi were busy in stealing glances. After the rituals.

Rajpurohit:maharaj its time to proceed for mandap.

Vikramaditya nods in yes. Shrijana gives padmavati clothes which she brought for shambhavi. Shakuntala takes shambhavi with her. Rudra goes with other relatives to mandap for some preliminary pooja.

In shambhavi's room

The girls were making shambhavi ready. They were mesmerized to see the clothes and jewellery came from groom's side. At one point of time they stopped and started adorning the clothes and jewellery. Shakuntala scolds them. Suddenly they heard a knock on the door and sameeksha comes inside. Shambhavi becomes happy seeing her.

Sameeksha: you look beautiful shambhavi.

Sameeksha looks at shakuntala who understands that she wants to say something to shambhavi. She goes from there along with other girls. Shambhavi looks at her through mirror.

Sameeksha: I am so happy for you two. I know you'll keep him happy. He is a changed man. I never thought I'll see him like this.he loves you a lot. I also loved him very dearly but he never loved me.

Shambhavi becomes stunned hearing this. She gets up and turns towards sameeksha.

Sameeksha: no please don't get shocked. It was one sided love. I loved him since childhood but he only saw me as his good friend. you are his soulmate. He chose you and if he has chosen you then there must be something very special about you.

Shambhavi: rudra never told me.

Sameeksha: I am glad he didn't. it wasn't needed. I moved on. I only want him to be happy.

Shambhavi smiles and decided not to think about it much as it was her wedding and she don't want to ruin it by having silly thoughts in her mind. Shakuntala comes to take shambhavi. Sameeksha and shakuntala takes shambhavi to mandap. Shambhavi with her eyes lowered and a serene smile on her face proceed towards mandap. Rudra again gets clean bowled. He was just looking at her.when she reaches in mandap padmavati makes her sit on the right side of rudra. Sameeksha goes and stands beside birju. Birju becomes surprised and happy. He smiles and sameeksha smiles too. Radha maa and gopal looked at each other.rudra and shambhavi look at each other lovingly. Rajpurohit starts chanting the mantra. Together they put grains in vedic agni. Rajpurohit calls vikramaditya and padmavati for kanyadaan. After the kanyadaan he asks them to stand up for pheras. He said that in first 4 pheras bride will be ahead of groom. Shambhavi takes rudra's hand in hers and start the pheras. Everyone showered flowers on them. Rudra and shambhavi complete the pheras. Now shambhavi sits on the left side of rudra and rapurohit begins the vow ceremony. Rudra takes shambhavi's hand in his. they look at each other.

Rudra: I will cherish you and provide welfare and happiness for you and our family.

Shambhavi: I am responsible for the home and all household responsibilities.

Rudra: Together we will protect our house and our family.

Shambhavi: I will be by your side as your courage and strength. I will rejoice in your happiness. In return, you will love me solely.

Rudra: May we grow wealthy and prosperous and strive for the education of our children.

Shambhavi: I will love you solely for the rest of my life, as you are my husband. Every other man in my life will be secondary. I vow to remain chaste

Rudra: You have brought sacredness into my life, and have completed me.i vow to love you forever.

Shambhavi: I will shower you with joy, from head to toe. I will strive to please you in every way I can.

Rudra: You are my best friend, and staunchest well-wisher. You have come into my life, enriching it

Shambhavi: I promise to love and cherish you for as long as I live. Your happiness is my happiness, and your sorrow is my sorrow. I will trust and honor you, and will strive to fulfill all your wishes.

Rudra: May you be filled with joy and peace

Shambhavi: I will always be on your side.

Rudra: We are now husband and wife, and are one. You are mine and I am yours for eternity.

Shambhavi: As God is witness, I am now your wife. We will love, honor and cherish each other forever.

As they finished taking the vows everyone showered flowers on them. They look at each other with love and respect. Rajpurohit asks rudra to put sindoor and mangalsutra to shambhavi. Padmavati hands over the plate. Shkuntaka comes and adjust her mangtika. Rudra takes sindoor and filled her maang. She closes her eyes in joy.he then ties the mangalsutra to shambhavi. Rajpurohit announces that the wedding is complete and from now on they are husband and wife inseperable by any human powers and conjoined by god himself. Everyone becomes happy and overjoyed.
