1 month later..

So many things have changed in past 1 month... Kalpi has learnt to smile, she has learnt to live for herself but some pain is still there... In this past one month she has learned to express her feelings with her besties(Payal and Roy).. She is trying her best to keep herself busy... Apart from her daily routine she has also joined payal's NGO.. More than NGO's extra income.. it's the work that has attracted her... Spending time with the kids gives her happiness... That orphanage has become her second home... It was Payal's suggestion for her to work as volunteer in free time... She is still thankful to Payal for changing her life.. But the thing which Payal wasn't able to change is her dedication towards her mother and her love for Raghav.. She has accepted the separation but moving on and forgetting Raghav isn't so easy for her. In last 1 month she had called thrice at her home... but never talked with her mom... Either she wasn't at home or busy in some work... Pakya has asked her to share her number but she denied saying that she doesn't have a cell yet.

Today she has got her first salary cheque.. After dancing classes all three of them have planned to go for party... It's Kalpi's first treat and she wants to make it big for them... All of them are sitting at a cafe... lost in their world.. it seems like they are unaware about the surrounding... Only things matter to them is their fshp... Payal gets a call from her institute.. Her faculty has called her for some urgent work.. She leaves the cafe leaving Roy and Kalpi alone...

Kalpi : Uff Payal had gone... I forgot to ask her about book shop's address... Roy, now u have to help me.

Roy : Sure!! Bt which books u want??

Kalpi : Arey I need some more books for my entrance exam.. I was waiting for my salary to purchase them..

Roy : Hmm.. I will take u there.. but can I ask u a question??

Kalpi : So now u need permission.. Manners haa?? Neways Go ahead..

Roy : Why r u planning for MBA?? Is it ur dream??

Kalpi : My ayi has seen a dream for me... She wants me to become memsaab!! I have tried to search a job on basis of my current qualification... N I realizes for fulfilling my ayi's dream I have to pursue MBA.

Roy : What's ur dream Kalpi??

Kalpi : To fulfill my ayi's dream.. To become memsaab!!

Roy(bit angrily) : What does this memsaab means??

Kalpi : Memsaab means a successful lady.. who works in a big office.. It means earning a big amount and getting respect in return.

Roy : Really?? That is what success is??

Kalpi : That is what my ayi wants..

Roy : Exactly!! That is what ur ayi wants... M asking about u.. What do u want?? What are ur dreams??

Kalpi : I do not want anything Roy.. Just my ayi's happiness.. that is what success for me.

Roy : So u mean to say m unsuccessful coz m not working in some big office at big position... I goes to office sometimes.. but m nt a full time employee.. So according to u.. owning a cafe doesn't come into success.

Kalpi : I dint mean that..

Roy : Do u remember Kalpi.. once u have asked me about this cafe and my motto behind opening it... Let me answer u today... As u know my father is a big businessman and I have born with a silver spoon in my mouth.. It was easy for me to join his business and achieve heights but that wasn't my dream.. My dream is to start a panel of cafes all over India.. Small musical cafes.. a perfect romantic place for friends and couples.. Dad always wanted me to join business but he never forced me... I knew my dream and he is happy today. Soon I m planning to open a new branch of this cafe. He was bit disappointed initially but later understood my point of view. Before u think that it was easy for me to open this cafe coz I have rich dad thn let me tell u that u r wrong.. I haven't taken any help from him..In my college days I have worked in pizza outlets to earn money and started this cafe with my own savings.. That's the reason it doesn't look like Oberoi's property. There was a time when cafe wasn't popular.. I was disappointed but it was my dream that gave me strength and u can see what I am doing today... So I just want to tell u to follow ur dreams... Listen to ur heart and do what makes u happy instead of doing what ur mother wants..

Kalpi(in deep thoughts) : Sid.. u r a wonderful frn.. M happy to have u in my life but for me.. my ayi is everything!! Still I will give it a thought.. Lets leave now..

Roy drops Kalpi at hostel... Once again he tells her to think about her own dreams.. She promises to give it a second thought and takes a leave.
