An idea, two choices, is what made a difference

One choice made for group secrecy and the other for own convenience

First to implement was on the dark side

And the gifted one used this as a guide

Good and Evil, both benefited during Hogwart's Battle

For one got support and the other a report

The answer is not a person or an object

Rather an idea close to the evil subject

P.S. Made more sense while making it, not sure now.. 😕

I guess the idea is of making the coins (the same one Voldemort used on the dark marks on the death eaters) by Hermione. She used it to let everyone know the timings of DA classes.

There were choices - use it for good or evil. Both played important role during dark times...

Hermoine used it for DA meetings and Voldemort for summoning death eaters...

First to implement was on the dark side

And the gifted one used this as a guide

Voldemort was the first to mark his loyal followers and Hermoine got the idea of special coins from the dark mark

Good and Evil, both benefited during Hogwarts Battle

For one got support and the other a report

Neville informed DA and Order members about the final battle using special coins and Alecto used her Mark to inform Voldemort abt Harry's presence in Hogwarts..

The answer is neither a person nor an object

Rather an idea close to the evil subject

The idea is same for DA's special coins and Dark Mark but I did ask to look close to the evil side for an answer..
