Werewolves wouldn't b right either.. apart from lupin , greyback also stepped into Hogwarts.. so that makes it two..riddle says only one of a kind entered the castle..

How about vampire sanguine then?.. I m not sure about other clues but he was the only vampire to step into Hogwarts..
