It was brought into the picture for a peculiar reason,
It was planted on Hogwarts ground to provide Remus Lupin a safe place for his monthly werewolf transformation.. so that his werewolf identity could b hidden from other Hogwarts students which in effect enabled him to continue studying at Hogwarts without putting other students lives at risk.
The one concealed by it felt he committed a treason.
Remus was of course the one concealed by the vicious tree, but he always felt that he had betrayed Dumbledore's trust by allowing his friends to accompany him in their illegal animagus form..his guilt at betrayal of Dumbledore's trust was so much that he hesitated telling the headmaster Serius's animagus secret when he himself believed that Serius was trying to attack and murder Harry in the Hogwarts castle..
Its raging temper is a solid fact,
Self explanatory..
But for those who knew its secret,it was just a matter of tact.
Self explanatory.. there was a knot of some sort at the base of the tree which calmed it..it had to be tapped carefully n tactfully for it to work.
Beware of it,for it knows not who you are,
It is a tree, it doesn't know who you are but will attack you for sure if you get too close to it..
It will use its enormous strength when faced with a war.
Obvious, isn't it?.I believe it even played its part in battle at Hogwarts by attacking the giants..didn't it?
Do not make the mistake of giving it a challenge,
Obvious again.. approach it at your own risk!
For it won't hesitate and yet it knows no such thing called a revenge.
It will attack you if you get too close and yet being a tree its actions are not based on human feelings such as 'revenge' or ' vengeance'..
It did clash with our beloved students,
It did clash with Harry and Ron in 2nd book and Harry and Hermione in 3rd book.
But it matters not,since in the end it always served what was prudent.
Yup !.. in the end it always served what was prudent !.. its vicious nature did scare the students but it did provide a concealment to Lupin's werewolf identity.. it did attack Harry and Ron in the 2nd book and even broke Ron's wand but the same broken wand was the reason that they escaped from Lockhart's memory charm..it did attack Harry and Hermione in the 3rd book but the entire misunderstanding was cleared up in the shreaking shack.. so all that ends well is well !..😊
