Precap:-
The rain sequence...
She placed her hands on her lips and gave a flying kiss towards the sky and then started giggling like billy-o. Shlok himself couldn't stop but chuckle for a moment. His own voice brought him back to reality. He ran his fingers through his wet hair. Hair wet due to the same contaminated first rain of the season. She danced back inside the house and Shlok pulled his car on the main road. She was there, everywhere around him as he drove back home.
That was the second night he had to drop his bitter black midnight coffee, because sleep seemed a better option. She was there in his dizzy thoughts before sleep called in.

Chapter 6
A Helpless Case
Shlok stared at the blue prints in front of him. His features all irate and mind ready to explode.
I don't understand. What the hell did she do that for?' He questioned himself and took the cordless in his hands.
"Astha come to my cabin...immediately." He fumed over the phone. A panicked Astha, forgetting everything rushed towards his office with the pencil stuck behind her ear and her lose bun a little messy. She was engrossed in the preparations of the projects next set of blue prints since morning. Half of them lied with Shlok and entering in his cabin her alarms started ringing. There must be something wrong with her prints.
How can this be? I was so careful while...' She trailed off as something clicked in her mind. She sighed.
"Good morning sir." She blurted in her nervousness, even though it was late afternoon. He rolled his eyes and threw his pointer on the table.
"What the hell s this?"
"Pardon me?"
"Astha ...this is not the original plan we discussed that day." He pressed his set of teeth hard, trying his level best not to burst out.
"Yes sir but..." She started but he dint let her complete.
"How on earth can you be so reckless about it? You do know what it means to us?"
"But sir, please listen." He instead sprang up from his chair and leaned on the table. Astha stepped back as the heat radiating from his body startled her. The anger in his eyes frightened her.
Will he listen to me for this once, please for the love of humanity?' Her inside shouted. But it wasn't her day. He left his side of the desk and plodded to her side. Standing inches away from her he leaned in until she could feel the heat of his breath emanating out from him. His eyes, with quick flame leaping inside them glared down at her's which were impatiently restless.
"I want the original designs in the presentations, no more of but sir listen to me... understand?"
A bitterness crept on her face. What the hell is his bloody problem? Why wouldn't he ever listen to me when required? He can go to the blazes for all I care... monster Agnihotri!' She burned inside and left the demons cage.
On the way to her desk she stopped by the full length windows in the lobby. Astha stared out aimlessly, a blazing blue sky poured torrents of light on the mother earth. The weather these days was getting more and more humid. Shlok's harsh tone reverberated around her much to her displeasure.
How can he expect one to work in peace after pouring down his anger on them?' She boiled inside. Someone cleared his throat behind her, Astha immediately composed her features and turned around to find Arav there eyeing her weirdly. She shook her head and saw a huge bouquet in his hands.
"Some one left this for you." He said extending it to her.
"For me?"
Arav nodded.
"That someone was?"
"No idea."
"What do you mean?"
"Found it on the reception."
He left after that leaving her baffled as to who would want to send her white roses on such a horrible day.
Someone might be celebrating my plight...' She thought and headed for her desk. She placed the flowers on her desk and wondered who could have sent them.
White flowers... what do they signify? Innocence? Innocence and purity? Why am i thinking about them? To hell with them...!'

Astha did not change the designs to their original shape, there was no need to. In the presentation room, while she briefed the clients she cleared out why the change was needed.
"In 1988 one of the best construction companies of that time committed the greatest blunder a construction company could do. Their 150 acre project for India's best housing society came down to the ground, or at least most of it, after a medium scale tornado hit the area, that too only after 95 days of the completion of its construction. The research team found out that the foundations were not suitable for the kind of winds the area received and hence the collapse was inevitable. The company's value fell in the market and it could not raise until it was shut down in 1995."
Everyone including Shlok looked at her all bewildered.
"As per my research our project is concentrated about 200 miles from this devastated society. The only problem we were going to face was the winds that blow at a high pace of 150 miles per hour during a specific time of the year. Our designs did not support that."
She said the final words everyone was waiting for. Shlok's eyes widened in utter disbelief. He now had to repent on not giving an ear to her while he was engaged in scolding her for the change of designs prior his permission.
"Last night I consulted your and our Civil Engineers and hence the appropriate change has been made in the foundations area, we will require to add more stable pillars and footings and..." She explained the necessary remedies vital for the construction of their multi-storey sky scrapers and other buildings part of the project. The clients saw the blue prints, while Shlok lifted his eyes to see her. She pretended she wasn't looking his way and smiled to herself. There was a sudden respite overtaking her, she thought it was due to her little victory over him, but it was something else.

"You should have told me Astha..." His voice was low and it was clear that he wasn't happy on not listening to her earlier that day. But he was Shlok Agnihotri for whom accepting his mistakes was the greatest problem in life. He decided to work on the best principle in such conditions, the best defence is the best offence.'
"You were away last night, today when i wanted to tell you didn't listen to me." She replied dryly as if not interested in giving any explanations. Somewhere she still thought he would apologise for what he did. But she forgot he was him. And so it wasn't possible for him to say that mighty word.
"Sir may i take a leave now?" She asked half lost somewhere else. He nodded, she left.

Astha walked towards the main road absorbed in the scent and murmur of the night. She was thinking about Shlok and why would he never accept where is he wrong.
"A helpless case!" She muttered.
Yes normal people are supposed to apologise for their mistakes but he wasn't normal. Yes he wasn't but he wasn't that dead inside too.
The road was empty, Astha gazed up at the blue black sky bubbling with stars and smiled sadly. She was about to cross the road when her ears caught the sound of a distant approaching car. Her eyes widened as multiple thoughts clicked in her mind. The morning news flashed in front of her eyes.
Four girls abducted from Pune streets last night.'
She caught hold of her pepper spray and started walking with her trembling legs. She walked towards the blocked side of the road where at least the car could not make its way. Astha heard the car stop; its headlights fell behind her back and then soft footsteps made their way towards her. She pushed down her saliva and marched a little faster, but the pace of the intruder also fastened. She, being the coward she was in such situations, didn't stop to see who he was. He came close and called out her name, even before realising it she pressed her index finger against the head of the pepper spray and a shower sprang out right on his face.
"Oh My GODDD!" She shrieked, seeing whom she had targeted just now.
