Hello my readers,

Satsriyakaal! Namaste! Vanakkam! Whenever my updates start to slow down, due to exam or some other problem, I start giving daily progress reports for DFL and DP! And when the updates pick up the speed I stop posting the progress report. As due to my wrist pain, my updates have slowed down recently, I have decided to start putting up the reports again.

OK! Before I start today's daily report, I have to tell you certain things. From 11 to 1 at night, I come online to reply reviews, mails and chat with some of my friends. So if you come online around that time and want to discuss my stories, you can post a message in the thread of the story you want to discuss about and I will definitely have the discussion with you.

Also, I won't post any report in JSTN Thread and neither will I post any information about it here as I have allotted one hour daily for each of my story (I consider all the three versions of Dh Dh as one) and reflecting on that I can safely say I will be able to update the fic every three days. So it can be said that it does not need any reports!

Now onwards to the daily report:

For two days I did not work on any stories because yesterday I had mild wrist pain and so just replied reviews of Dh Dh and today the pen drive having my stories was borrowed by my mom in the afternoon.

1. Work on DFL's Chapter 70 (B) had begun the day before yesterday and tomorrow I will write more of it. Cannot give any estimate for the next update's date but will be able to reflect on it tomorrow.

2. Work on DP's Chapter 15 will not start tomorrow. I will work on the intro for new thread. So expect a PM with link to new thread pretty soon.

It always happens in this game that one letter always messes you up; because it keeps coming and you are like damnn I don't know any more songs. But thankfully we still have Geet who always has her songs stocks ready haha. I just love Geet and Arnav arguments, the way he was like Toh Motormouth goa na.

Awee Khushi is remembering when Arnav bought her the whole basket of bangles, yeh judaai abh nahi sayi jati Di. Even Maan is remembering how he bought Geet /Soni earings with the help of no other than khushi Kumari Gupta. Both of the Jodi's are remembering about eachother. Though two of them are remembering the past and two of them are remembering about the present.

OMG yes he sang the same song she sang when he was mad, this is I guess his way of saying sorry lol or making her remember about what she had done for him. It was hilarious how both Maan and Anjali were stupefied about how Arnav was singing lol, they were so shocked. Obviously they will be, they are never heard Arnav sing and now all of a sudden. Even I'll be like that if my brother never sang and all of sudden he does. He is being congratulated like as if he just got the business man trophy of the year.

I am so that most of the songs you post I have never heard them, but this way I get to listen to new songs to me lol. Omg Geet obviously remembers about the song, how she can ever forget anything, except her own memory. I can't believe shyam was late to his own sangeet. But I understand lol during my sister's wedding stupid groom family came like 1 hour late, and by the time they came us teenagers wanted to kill someone haha. And they took such a long time to come in because they were apparently taking selfies. I just couldn't stop laughing when my cousin told me that.

Khushi, Arnav will always be yours all you have to do is be with him and that is all. And geet we all are waiting for them moment when maan realizes that you are Geet and you are Soni too. Dev the saviour of his team.. That song totally describes their situation. How both of them can't even imagine being away from their loved ones. But how both maan and khushi are both hiding their feelings.

Arnav I think you have been listening to the radio a lot. He knows so many songs, that he saved his team and told akash to sing this song. Don't worry khushi you'll get your Arnav back too and you'll be happy as payal is.

I like the nickname you came up with for Lavanya. She was like what is he talking about and then nk told her how she is taken was so cute, I am pretty sure that she laughed after a really long time. She was actually sitting on the window and looking at everyone sing and dance, but she was not in a mood to join them. Okie that NandKishor part was hilarious, even she was like have you met my bua ji yet.

But I am glad that Nk told her that keeping this secret of her will never help her, she needs to tell someone if not her family or others than why not nk. And him being him, he will never judge her because he has lived all his life in a western country.

It is really hard to let go of someone you love dearly, but that does not mean that you will sit around and mop. Lavanya needs to get on her feet and embrace what life is bringing her way. This way she will forget about the guy who ditched her, because really he wasn't worth wasting time on. Nk my man you have solved her problem once again. You rock haha.

Even though they don't know each other that well, they are still enjoying eachothers company. Also nk has already made a promise to himself to always keep La happy. He is already falling for her. They just met eachother and literally nk has made her laugh so much with his silliness. Poor Lavanya she never got this much attention from Arnav because his whole attention is on her younger sister.

Nk was a sweet boy he is, he went and got lavanya and himself an ice cream because he knew that she was sad so he got her ice cream to cheer her up. She was so happy and surprised by what Nk did.

Omg I love you arnav so much, he never gives away a chance to tease khushi. And basically this song is saying that Arnav will make Khushi his no matter what. And khushi being herself she started worrying about lavanya. And obviously arnav had told geet about the names (Heer Ranjah). I felt so sad for Arnav, Geet, Khushi, And Maan. What they are going through.

Only Arnav and Geet can understand eachother. Because both of them are going through similar situation. But hey soon they will have their loved ones back and I for most cannot wait to read about it.

CHAPTER 70 (B). LUCKNOW OUTING PART II

Place - In Lucknow near Hasratganj

Day - 3 Sunday continued

Khushi moved a bit uncomfortably and Arnav gave her a smug smile. She glared at him and Arnav felt a grin coming onto his face. When Arnav sat in the driver's seat, Geet, with her sneaky talks and sweet smile, made sure that Khushi sat right beside him in the passenger seat. Hence, here was Khushi squirming as Arnav grabbed her hand tightly under the guise of using the gear. Khushi had made the mistake of placing her hand on the car's gear and Arnav had happily placed his hand on hers and from then till now had not left it once. Hence, Khushi was glaring at Arnav while Arnav was grinning happily.

Geet used her smartness on Paayal and Aakash too by making Maan, La and NK sit with her in the back leaving the middle seats free for Paayal and Aakash. Of course Paayal and Aakash appreciated it and promptly got lost into each other not caring about Arnav and Khushi in the front seats or the four in the back seats. Geet did not even keep Maan away from her planning. The back seats were perpendicular to the front and middle seats and had two seats facing each other. Geet made sure that Maan was sitting right across her and made sure to stare at him full time in between winking at him. Maan did not know what to do; whether to run away screaming or pull Geet into his arms forgetting his companions. Oblivious to all this madness, Lavanya and NK sat across each other sharing their college life details and having a merry time.

Soon, their mini van reached the mela and Geet, NK and Paayal scrambled off eagerly with Aakash, Lavanya and Maan leisurely following them. NK was excited and eager to go explore the place as he had never been to a mela his whole life. Khushi wanted to follow them too but yeh Rakshas haath chode tab na! She turned and glared at him but Arnav just smiled at her. Hey Devi Maiyya! Humein is rakshas se bachaao!

"Chodiye Humein!"

"Nahi Chodunga!"

"Dekhiye..."

"Dekh toh raha hoon! Tumhein! Waise iss dress mein achchi lag rahi ho!"

"Hey Devi Maiyya! Dekhiye Arnavji! Aap apni hadd paar kar rahe hain!"

"Achcha? Aur hadd ki tum baat kar rahi ho? Tumhein yaad hai, aise hi ek mele mein hum bhi gaye aur maine tumhaare liye jhumke jeete the! Kuch yaad aaya?"

"Nahi!"

"Jhoot! Main jaanta hoon tuhmein sab yaad hai! Waise kya woh jhumke tum pehenti ho ya kahin sambhaalke rakha hai?"

Khushi wrenched her hand away and scrambled off the van as Arnav looked on smilingly. Main jaanta hoon Khushi, tumne us jhumke ko sambhaalke rakha hoga mere pyaar ki nishaani banaakar! Itna toh jaanta hoon tumhein!

Khushi reached Geet and when Geet smiled at her she smiled back hesitantly. Un jhumkon ko hum kaise pehne Arnavji! Aapki pyaar ki nishaani hai woh jise sambhaalke hum apne paas rakhe hue hain!

Soon Khushi put the incident in the back of her mind and started to enjoy the trip. All had lots of fun enjoying the games and going on rides. Aakash and NK managed to convince even Maan and Arnav to get on some of the rides. Girls even enjoyed the songs blaring from the speakers placed all around the mela. After a while as they roamed around the streets, Geet's eyes fell on small stall selling earrings of all kinds. Her eyes lit up as she saw some simple but beautiful Jhumkas hanging there.

"Veere! AB! Dekho! Jhumke ki dukaan! Chalo na jhumke dekhte hain!"

"What the! You will buy these road side earrings?", Arnav's face looked like he had swollen something bitter.

Geet huffed, "Haan! Mujhe yahi chaahiye!"

Aakash smiled but Arnav shook his head, "You can have the world's best designer earrings! Why do you want these road side jhumkas?" The word jhumkas was said as if it was something very foreign.

Geet pouted and glared at Arnav, "Mujhe aapke mehenge waale jhumke nahi chaahiye! I want these!"

Arnav rolled his eyes, "Fine! Lets go and get you your Jhumkas!"

Geet and Arnav walked away to check out the earrings. Aakash followed them holding Paayal's hand wanting to buy some for her too. Behind Aakash, NK and Lavanya followed them chatting about the difference between Indian dressing sense and foreign ones. Khushi and Maan lagged behind them.

"Veerji! Aapko yaad hai? Jab aap aur main Parjaayiji ke liye gift lene gaye the unhein manaane ke liye?"

Maan looked sharply at Khushi when she said Parjaayiji' but other than that did not give any indication that he heard her.

"Aisi hi Jhumke liye the na aapne unke liye? Aur unhein pasand bhi aaye the?"

Maan's eyes met Khushi's and Khushi saw that they were filled with sadness. She looked away but continued to speak.

"Kuch bhi kaho Maan Veerji! Soni ho ya Geet, insaan toh ek hi hai! Na woh badli hain aur na unka dil! Yaaddaasht bhale hi chali gayi ho par hai toh yeh wahi!"

Maan's eyes widened and he turned to look at Khushi but by then Khushi had walked away to stand beside Geet. Maan's eyes remained on Geet the whole time she selected the earrings and bought them.

Suddenly, Geet noticed a stall selling bangles and before they knew the whole gang was dragged over there to look at the varieties of bangles. Various baskets were arranged in front of them, filled with nothing but bangles. Each basket filled with varieties of them, not one set looked same as other. Geet, Khushi and Paayal took in the bangles eagerly with their eyes. The boys and Lavanya stood behind waiting for them impatiently.

Geet turned and smiled at Lavanya, "Arre! LB! Aaona! Aap bhi apne liye choodiyaan le lo!"

Lavanya shrugged, "Mujhe choodiyaan pasand nahi! I prefer bracelets."

Aakash piped up, "Annie aur NT ko bhi pasand nahi! Even they prefer bracelets. But Anjali Di loves bangles!"

After a while, Geet pouted, "Kaun si loon? Kuch samajh nahi aa raha! Sab itne pyaare hain!"

NK spoke up, "Jaldi decide karo! Mujhe bhook lagi hai! I want to eat something!"

"NKji! Bas do minute please!", Paayal mumbled as she looked through the bangles unable to choose one.

Another ten minutes passed but the girls had yet to decide on what they wanted.

NK spoke up, "Please ladies! Jaldi karo! I am hungry!"

Aakash supported NK, "Haan! Geetto jaldi kar! Paayal! Khushi! Itna kya soch rahi ho?"

All three girls nodded but continued to look through the baskets more while advising each other on what they should try.

Another ten minutes passed and Arnav had enough. He stormed over to them, pulled out wads of money and slammed it in front of the shocked shop keeper. "Keep the change!", he mumbled as he chose four baskets. All seven looked at him in astonishment as Arnav handed one basket to Aakash, one to NK and one to Maan and holding one in his hand.

"Arnav...", Maan mumbled in shock.

Arnav shrugged, "What? They were taking so much time, I had to do something."

He looked at the three girls and growled; "Now you have enough variety to choose from. Har ek ke liye ek ek tokri. Aur apni tokri waali choodiyon se bore hui toh doosre ki tokri mein se le lena! Ab chalo sab! Gaadi mein yeh baskets rakhni hai aur phir NK ke liye khaane waala stall bhi dhoondhna hai!"

Everyone followed Arnav with shock written on their faces. As they reached the van and placed the basket under the seats in the back, Aakash spoke up, "Bhai! But Lavanya toh bangles pehenti nahi then why four!" Maan smiled, "Arre! Baaki teeno ke liye choodiyaan lekar apni Anjali Di ke liye nahi loge kya?" All smiled softly as Arnav closed the van. Khushi looked away as she remembered the time when Arnav had brought her basket full of bangles just because he did not know which one she would like. She smiled softly as she remembered lying to Buaji and saying that she bought them as she got bonus. Arnav noticed her smiling and his mind went back to the time when he bought basket just like this for her. Both lost in their thoughts walked off with others to the mela to look for food.

Another drama ensued when they reached the food area. Whichever stall they went to, Maan and Arnav refused to eat there by finding faults like the place being dirty or the maker making the food with hands or the food being placed in open. In some places even NK joined the protests as he was not used to eating in such open places. Soon, all the stalls were rejected and the group sat dejected wondering what to eat. Geet and Khushi were annoyed at Maan, Arnav and NK's protests while all of them started having hunger pangs. Arnav and Maan wanted to go home to eat but driving home would take time and the girls could not wait till then.

Suddenly, Lavanya's eyes fell on a lassi making stall where the place seemed neat. She pointed the place to others and other agreed to have Lassi there. As Lassi was thick, they were sure it would sustain them till they reached home. Soon, Maan treated all of them with Lassi and all enjoyed drinking it. Khushi's eyes reached Arnav's as they drank and both remembered the time they drank lassi at a dhaaba when Arnav's car stopped working in the middle of the road. Khushi averted her eyes while Arnav smiled softly.

Soon, the whole gang walked towards the parking lot wanting to go home and eat piping hot homemade food. As they were walking, suddenly there was a lot of noise and people starting murmuring and whispering. Soon, gunshots were heard all around and people started running around in confusion. Geet, Maan, Khushi, Arnav, NK, Lavanya, Paayal, Aakash; all were pushed around and soon all eight were separated. The girls screamed each others' names and the guys hollered for the girls but the songs playing from the speakers, the shouts of people around and the gunshots muted their voice and not one of them could reach the other.

Maan pushed around the throngs of people as he looked around for anyone of the remaining seven. He crashed right into Paayal. "Veerji!", she squeaked with fear. Her eyes were tearing up and her clothes looked to be smudged with dirt. She hugged him tightly and Maan hugged her back, happy that atleast his one sister was fine. She pulled away and he noticed her elbow slightly bleeding.

"Yeh chot kaisi?"

, "Kisi ne neeche gira diya tha dhakka dekar! Aur kuch nahi!", she spoke between sniffles.

Maan pulled her away from the crowd and took her near to a stall. They heard gunshots nearby and were stunned to see people coming on jeeps and bikes firing shots in the air. They seemed to be some kind of goons. Maan pulled Paayal behind the stall and they ducked there.

"Tum yahin ruko, main baaki sabko dhoond laata hoon!", Maan spoke up.

Paayal shook her head vigorously, "Nahi Veerji! Aap humein chodke mat jaayiye!"

Maan tried to convince Paayal to let him go but she refused. Luckily for Maan, he spotted Aakash. He called for him but Aakash seemed to not hear him. Maan suddenly had an idea and pulled out his mobile. He called up Aakash and Aakash seemed to pull out his mobile.

"Saamne dekho!", Maan ordered and he waved his hand as Aakash looked up and saw him. Aakash scrambled over to them. His shirt seemed to torn at some places but other than that he seemed alright. When he neared them and saw Paayal his eyes lit up with relief. He came close and crouched beside Paayal. Both hugged each other tightly. "Bro! Chunaav ki wajah se do parties mein jhagde chal rahe hain! Yeh danga usi ka nateeja hai!", Aakash informed Maan who nodded.

"Aakash! Tum Paayal ke saath raho! Woh akele nahi reh sakegi! Main Geet, Khushi aur Lavanya ko dekhta hoon!", Maan ordered as he turned to walk away. Then he stopped and turned back, "Aur haan! Arnav aur NK ko message kardo ki Paayal is safe aur agar baaki teen ladkiyon se koi bhi mile unhein toh hum sabko inform kardein!"

Arnav looked around in horror. Khushi! Aakash! Geet! Maan! Are they safe? Aur Paayal, Lavanya aur NK kahaan hai? Dammit! Yeh sab kya ho raha hai? People continued to jostle him as they ran around like headless chicken. He even heard gunshots and saw bottles being thrown on floor and people getting hit by it and that filled his body with dread. He started searching for others when he felt someone grab his shirt from back. He turned around to see Geet looking at him with worry. Arnav hugged her in relief and then looked at her in worry, "Tum theek toh ho na? Tumhein lagi toh nahi?" Geet shook her head, "Main theek hoon AB!" Arnav grabbed her hand and dragged her to someplace where they could hide when they came across a worried Maan. Maan told them that Paayal was safe with Aakash and he had hidden them there. Arnav promptly handed over Geet to Maan, "Theek hai! Tum Geet ko Aakash ke paas chod do and start searching for others! I will also try to find them!" Maan nodded and grabbed Geet's hand. He dragged her away while Arnav messaged Aakash that he had found Geet and she was with Maan.

Arnav was the first one to find Khushi. Dust was filled in the air and it took Arnav some time to realize that Khushi was standing in front of him. She did not seem to be hurt, just scared. He grabbed Khushi's hand and dragged her away not noticing that some feet from them stood Lavanya shouting his name.

Lavanya looked at Arnav in shock as he did not even notice her. The loudspeaker continued to blare out songs drowning out her voice. "ARNAV!", she screamed but Arnav did not notice her while Khushi was so shocked that she seemed to be lost in her own world. What was she to do now? How was she to save herself? Suddenly, she felt someone grabbed her hand and she turned only to see NK standing there. "Chalo!", he ordered her and dragged her away. She looked at NK in shock and wonder. As he dragged her she continued to stare at him with wonder in her eyes. The loudspeakers continued to blare around them as NK dragged La to safety.

Maan dragged Geet to the place where Paayal and Aakash were hiding. But in the way, they were pushed towards the side by the scared crowd till they were far off from Paayal and Aakash's hiding place. Suddenly, a bike came right towards them and was about to hit them when Maan pulled Geet away from there. Realising the futility of finding the others, Maan and Geet hid in the narrow pathway between two houses nearby. The pathway was narrow enough to make both stand very close to each other. He messaged other guys that he and Geet were safe but were in hiding. He soon got a message back from Arnav and NK that Lavanya and Khushi are safe.

"Paayal! Tum theek ho na?", Aakash spoke and Paayal nodded.

Few feet away from them, hidden behind a circus tent were Khushi and Arnav. "Arnavji!", Khushi whispered tearfully. Arnav, who was on the lookout, turned around. "Humaari Jiji aur Di...", Khushi whispered sobbingly. Arnav nodded her head, "They are safe. Paayal is with Aakash and La is with NK!" Khushi felt relief fill into her body and she lunged forward and hugged Arnav tightly.

Suddenly some gunshots were heard and the song stopped. The music player system was shot to stop it from playing. Half hour passed but the Danga continued. Luckily soon the Police arrived and managed to control the situation. After a while, all eight emerged from their hiding places holding each others' hands and meeting at the parking lot. It was a mutual consensus that they would all head home as all wanted to feel safe and only Sheeshmahal could provide them that right now.

For those who have forgotten the older chapters (which is possible coz I wrote the first chapter nearly two years back) here are the details about the older chapters I am referring to in the story.

1. The mela scene which Arnav refers while holding Khushi's hand is in Chapter 32.

2. The scene which Khushi refers to when she talks to Maan is in Chapter 18 where Maan goes to buy apology gifts for Soni with help of Khushi.
