See, now, this is where I went wrong. At first I thought that the champion for Beauxbatons was announced first, but I just had a look at GoF and it says that Krum went through first, not Fleur. Sorry! My bad...

They said that the Goblet (the judge) was fooled because it didn't have the sense to see that it is selecting four champions, two from the same school
