Since Election is approaching, I scribbled this...

Aaya Aaya Chunav Ka Daur Aaya

Aam Aadmi Bhi Ab Khas Kehlaya

Bade Bade Netaon Ne Chuna Apna Manch

Vaado Aur Aashwasano ka fir Shuru huva Prapanch

Jinhe Dekha Bhi Naa Tha 5 Sallon Mein Woh Achanak Huve Prakat

Baatein Aise Karte Jaise Humari Har Samasya Se Hai Nikat

Achanak Milne Wali Ehmiyat Ko Kya Hum Nahi Jaante?

Ye Vaade Hai Bas Pralobhan Kya Hum Nahi Pehchaante?

Achanak Humari Choti Choti Samasyaon Ke Milte Hai Hal

Par Jaante Hai Chunaav Ke Baad Ka Kal Hoga Vaisa Hi Jaisa Tha Beeta Huva Kal

Hume Khush Karne Ke Liye Diye Jaate Hai Aneko Pralobhan

Aur Jab Satta Milti Hai Unhe Toh Hota Hai Humara Shoshan

Magar Aise Mein Matadaan Hi Naa Karna Kya Hai Sahi Oopay?

Shayaad Aisi Hi Soch Iss Desh Ko Aur Kamzoor Banayee

Matdaan Kar Ke Ekdum Sahi Umeedwar Shayad Hum Naa Chun Payee

Par Hume Haq Hai, Hum Desh Tak Apni Aawaz Pahunchayee

Badlaav Laane Ka Zimma Agar Hum Khud Uthayee...

Toh Shayad Badlaav Ki Shurvaat Aaj Hi Se Ho Jaayee...

Great poem! You have penned down the darkest side of all the selfish and corrupt politicians who become our well wishers and put forward various false claims all of a sudden, whenever election approaches.
I love the selection of words.

Very true sonali, all politicians are same, they promised to change everything for us for our convienience but soon after elections they themselves change

You have beautifully put into words, the sad state of affairs of the country,where the politicians make their appearance only to claim votes and then conveniently forget their assurances and go back to their old ways once they get into power.
