The immensely popular and pretty Vrinda Dawda, better known as Taani from Channel V's Dil Dostii Dance, and Vishaka from SaharaOne's Haunted Nights, celebrates her birthday today! On this lovely occassion she gets candid with urlremoved about her plans for the day and lots more!

First of all, wish you a very Happy Birthday Vrinda, and what are your plans for the day?

Thank you for the wishes! Umm... nothing great really. So as you'll know, I already had a pre-birthday bash on Saturday which was great fun! So today, I am going to visit the temple first, then pamper myself at the spa later in the day for a bit, post that I will be visiting an orphanage with my family as I want to do something which makes me feel good and which is different too. And then, a nice quiet family dinner in the evening. So yes, it's kind of a busy day actually. (Laughs).

What is your birthday resolution this year?

I don't really believe in resolutions as such, so nothing khaas this year. Though yes, I hope to keep working well throughout and shall strive to be an even better person with lots of positivity filled in me!

Any birthday memories in the past years which will always be special to you?

Oh actually, every birthday has always been very special for me! Every memory, all the fun I've had etc will always be special for me. So if you ask me this year, I will say that last year's birthday was awesome, and if you ask me next year, I will say this year's birthday was awesome! So for me, all birthday's have been great.

How would you describe yourself?

Umm...well I am a very friendly person. I easily gel well and get along with everyone! I am someone who makes friends very easily and maintain my friendships well too. I also live life to the fullest, and I am a big big mastikhor too! (Laughs).

Love to you is?

Well, Love for me is love! (Laughs). It is a very sweet gesture and nice bonding of trust, which God has given us all. Be it love for your friends, family, animals, nature or anything or anyone else, love is just simple. A great feeling!

Any upcoming projects for you this year?

To be honest, none of as now. Though I have given a lot of good auditions so hoping and waiting for the best! And I know all my fans are also eager to know about what is next now and trust me, so am I!

Your dream role would be?

I have pretty much tried everything till now. A sweet, bubbly and innocent Taani in D3, the bad and negative Vishaka in Haunted Nights, a pretty chick in one of my episodics. So now I am actually hoping to get something in the genre of comedy! I feel that I can maybe make people laugh, so that's something I am hoping to try out next.

Do you ever plan to move to films from television?

Things like this shouldn't ever be planned, as if they are and they don't end up working out, your hopes just go low! So yes if ever given an opportunity I would love to try out a film. Though as of now, I am happy doing what I am doing.

If you could eat anything and never put on weight what would it be?

Chocolates of course! I am sure that would be like everybody's answer. (Laughs).

Something people don't know about you?

Okay so honestly I guess people know everything about me! I mean sometimes it feels like my fans are detectives only. They somehow always find out something or the other about me. But umm, yes I guess people don't know that I started working from the age of 15. I am actually a workaholic. I like being busy. I started of with dance shows at an early age as I love dancing! Helped my mom give tution classes as she is a tution teacher. Worked at a few placement agencies, and then got into modeling too later, which didn't work out for too long though, as I am quite chottu! (Laughs). So yes, I guess these are a few things which people wouldn't have known about me.

Your good friends in this industry are?

I have a lot of friends in this industry, as somehow I am a very friendly person. My D3 cast, Haunted Nights cast, all my cast people from the episodics I have done.So yes basically I gel pretty well with everyone.

The last time you laughed really hard?

That would be at my pre-birthday bash on Saturday night, which was great fun and lot's of awesome memories!

I guess a Wedding Planner maybe. As I just love weddings!

Favourite Bollywood Actor and Actress?

Actors would be Aamir Khan for his perfection, and Salman Khan too! Actresses would be Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit of course as even now she manages to pull of such awesome roles and acting!

Favourite cuisine?

I love authentic ghar ka bana hua Gujju food of course! And Italian food too.

Favourite TV show?

Since I am a Gujju, my whole family sits together at 11pm everyday if given a chance, to watch Taarak Mehta together! Which I just love! And other than that, I still follow D3 whenever possible.

Phone you are currently using?

I am currently using an Iphone 5.

The best birthday gift ever you have received till now?

That would be a Tiara from my fan Sadaf who stays in London! A very unexpected and lovely gift I had always wanted!

Finally, a message for all your fans who are more excited for your birthday than you are!?

I would really really like to thank all my fans for showering me with so much love and affection as always! It really really means a lot to me! Them doing so much for my birthday just feels so special! I really love them all, and hope that I can meet them all on any of my birthdays which we will then celebrate together, and this too is one of my wishes! So a big big thank you to them all, once again.
