EBP
26-MAR-2014

The crazy dude passes out, leaving Aastha stranded in the jungle and she starts panicking, as predicted by Shlok. Aditi continues her search mission for Aastha and she even finds herself a bottle to kill Aastha with, when she finds her. To Aastha's luck police see Aditi again and send her back to the cottage. Shlok finally finds Aastha in the jungle. Aastha is relieved to find him and she hugs him. Now Shlok becomes increasingly uncomfortable with her display of affection because it forces him to face his own feelings. He hides behind his mask of irritation and anger. He rushes her to the cottage as they have to avoid getting caught by police.

On Shivrathi, Abhay starved Jyothi and locked her up in the storeroom and lied to Shlok and Aastha that a trapped mouse might be making the noises. He is that mouse. He is panicking as he not just lost control over the golden goose but also on his life. Jyothi's escape has turned this predator into prey. If Agnihotris come to know of it, they are going to crucify Abhay at least for their public image sake. His end is nearing fast.

Kalindi wakes up in the middle of the night, as she is worried about Aastha's wellbeing. She fears the wrong people though. Same is the case with Jyothi. Because of her traumatic experience with Abhay, Jyothi fears Sid. She tries to leave in the middle of the night. Sid sweetly reminds her that its not wise to go out at that time. He makes her coffee and soothes her fears, just like Avdhoot does for Kalindi.

Aditi takes over the honeymoon cottage and changes into lingerie, to seduce whom?🤢 Shlok walks into the bedroom, as he didn't expect this pest to be there. Aditi is getting more and more desperate. She not only takes over their bedroom but also decides to change into her nightgown right in the middle of the bedroom without bolting the door😡. This was the most off putting scene in the whole episode. Hated it. I hope they aren't thinking of making this Aditi a permanent fixture on the show, like marrying shlok to her. It will spoil the whole essence of the show irretrievably for me. Anyway, good thing is that Shlok didn't care for her. He simply says sorry and rushes out. In his hurry, he bumps into Aastha. Aastha asks him if he has seen a ghost inside.😳

As they wait outside on the bench, Aastha decides to put on act of accidentally hurting her hand to catch Shlok red-handed again. She knows that he loves her and she just wants that confirmation, which he is so adamant about not giving her. As she expected Shlok does get affected as soon as Aastha winces in pain, but once he realized what she was trying to do, he physically distances himself from her as if he fears that she is going to take advantage of him. He is afraid of letting her come too close to him. He tells her to ask him directly and not to resort to indirect ways. Will he accept his feelings if she asks him directly? Aastha tells him that she is trying his way of dealing with things this time as her way didn't work. She lets him know that she felt bad when Aditi claimed to be his wife, indirectly first and then directly. Shlok makes indifferent and uninterested faces, but he likes it that she is possessive about him. He reassures her in his own way by saying that truth doesn't alter just because someone tries pass off something else as truth. She too reaffirms that she loves him... again. Shlok ... tumhara kuch nahi ho sakta... you are a total gone case. He says that about Aastha but actually it applies to him.

After a while, Aastha goes into their room to find Aditi coming out of their bathroom, in her silk nightdress. That sight really blows her fuse and she blasts Aditi for claiming to be Shlok's wife. But again she feels bad for firing at Aditi and says that she understands her situation during that police raid. To Aastha's disgust, Aditi shamelessly "thanks" her for her understanding instead of saying "sorry", then she makes herself comfortable in their bed and falls asleep. Aastha is at a loss of words and she simply stares agape at this abomination lying on their bed. Shlok walks in and sees this creature on his bed then looks at Aastha. She accuses him with her eyes and he throws a helpless look at her, then he silently picks up a pillow and walks out to sleep under the stars.

Aastha prefers to be with Shlok outside than to stay warm inside the cottage with Aditi. She covers him with a blanket and sits by the bonfire. She sees his sleeping form and becomes emotional. Like she did in Kolhapur, she looks at the full moon and wishes that she and Shlok be together forever. She wishes that time freezes and the Sun never rises, so that she doesn't have to leave Shlok ever. Unknown to her, Shlok is listening to her monologue and he seems to feel the same way. He is anguished seeing her in pain and then they both become uncomfortable when Aastha realizes that Shlok listened to her musings. What the hell is stopping Shlok from acknowledging his feelings?!

Sid wakes Jyothi up by tugging at her blanket. She panics again seeing a man too close to her. He relaxes her again with his sweet smile and a cup of tea this time. He tries to get information from her about her family so that he can contact them, but when he realizes that she is not the right frame of mind, he gives her space. He reassures her that she is safe in his house.

On the whole, I liked the episode a lot for Aastha and Shlok moments. Loved the Sid Jyothi part. Aditi's overtures are scaring me. Hope she goes away soon.

Great review Rekha,
What the hell is stopping Shlok from acknowledging his feelings?!

This is the million dollar question?
Did his acknowledging his love for Swati , result in Swati's death? as Aditi said "tumhara ye pyaar hi hai Shlok jo Astha ko maar dalega. " so who killed Swati, NA/ Anjali or Aditi and her dad or Abhay or somebody else . Or was it Shlok's possessiveness for Swati that she left him and he followed her to stop her and she died in an accident due to that like rash driving trying to go away from Shlok. Like Astha, Shlok too is very possessive. He did not want Swati to go away with some other person and so followed her and she died. He may have been indirectly responsible for her death then and Aditi is here to find out if Shlok tried to save her or let her die, as she was going to leave him and go with some body else.
Why is Aditi trying to become Mrs Shlok Agnihotri is another big question? She was all set to seduce Shlok .
May be she always wanted to marry Shlok, but Shlok loved Swati so she killed Swati and Shlok thought Anjali was responsible for It and now Aditi wants to kill Astha and be Shlok's wife. Is she obsessive Psychopath?

interesting theories suchi. so many riddles yet to be solved.😊
one thing is for sure. aditi is a psycho. no sane person will plan to murder someone.

Nice post Rekha ..loved the pictures and their captions too, this one esp.
"Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation."

These lines are nicely said. Apart from Astha-Shlok I liked the parallels drawn between Kalindi-Avdhoot, Sid-Jyothi; both men are gentle souls and healing potions; well what will Sid do has to be seen.Dont you have bonfire, moon on background for Astha-Shlok 😛
