Radhika was in a surgery, though she was a new recruited, being knowledgeable, she became quite busy, and considering their head was Dev, she can't help but snort. He definitely make people over work. However , Radhika found that she enjoyed working a lot, to her shock. But today she was feeling irritated, she need to get to Pran and pick him up from school. Radhika was feeling help less, because it was assigned to her particularly by Dev. As she completed the major surgery she sighed and gave the work of the minor stitches to her associate and rushed out. Leaving her robes reckless in dressing room, she made a run for lift, how ever she blinked when Lift open, Pran came out from lift and hugged her "Mumma"
Radhika hugged back and looked at Gaurav who brought him "Thanks a lot Gaurav"
Gaurav grinned " I know you have a surgery today, I thought of meeting you, thought I can pick Pran on my way."
Radhika grinned "Thanks a lot, truly I am feeling tensed because I am late to go for him."
Pran mumbled quietly " It truly gets irritating when you people speak of me as if I am not there."
Gaurav laughed while Radhika smiled fondly " I am sorry Prince, I am busy today. And at same time I am worried for you."
Pran shrugged , and threw his arms up for Radhika to pick. Gaurav snorted " Truly kiddo, you are 5 and you still want your mom to pick you. " he picked up instead of Radhika and they went towards Radhika's cabin.
They sat, and Radhika went in to wash properly and came out, then she handled some snacks for Pran to eat and sat to speak with Gaurav " So whats up Gaurav, you hardly ever come to meet me at work place."
Gaurav fidgeted a bit " Bharka met me last week"
Radhika leaned forward , Bharka was Gaurav's school time crushes and indeed one of the serious crushes, the man used to have a soft spot for her until their second year when Bharka-Dev's relation ship was more exposed. Even after that He controlled his like for her, not that he doesn't love Avantika, but Bharka was special to him,as his first crush " What happened"
Gaurav spoke " I don't know . She came to my hospital last week, and there she spoke with me"
Radhika nodded, "Does avanthika knows it?"
Gaurav nodded his head " I don't see thing in hiding it with her.She knows the thing I used to have for Bharka"
Radhika smiled and nodded "Thats right. Hey by the way you know what, Next month we have a conference. I saw your name in the list of doctors included"
Gaurav looked at her surprised "Really, but i don't know of it"
Radhika shrugged, "Will know such things when MCI president happens to be my uncle"
Gaurav shook his head " So hows Mrinalini."
Radhika nodded her head "She's fine, and you know what Sheetal aunty was able to move her hands now."
Gaurav looked surprised again " Hey! when does that happen"
Radhika answered "Mohini di mailed me yesterday night, apparently, Aunt was able to freely move her hands. Now only we has to get her legs in order. "
Gaurav smiled, Purohiths or should he say exactly Sharma's were like an adoptive family to Radhika, she got mingled with them in these seven years. Its like Vrindavan became her second home. He expected Radhika's dadima to feel bad, but she doesn't infact she encouraged it. "Hey Radh's Dadi kaisi ho"
Radhika gave him a sad look "Apparently she was so much angry on you. You didn't come last weekend. Thats why"

Radhika and Gaurav were in middle of their convo when Dev barged into her cabin " Miss. Bharadwaj, I never thought of you to be this care less."
Radhika raised her eye brows to him "May I know reason Mr.Purohith"
" You left your patient in middle of operation and came here"
Radhika frowned " If you need to know answer completely, I completed the surgery, but only stitches are left which I handled to Kishore before I came here. "
Dev glared at her " And may I know whats so important here."
Radhika firmly answered " First of all My duty timings are over, and next if you still want answer, I came here for my son. I need to pick him up, but apparently wasn't unable to do so, and for ur kind info, my son was just 5 years old. "
Dev sighed " But you didn't leave, you sat here chit chatting with some one."
Gaurav sighed " I brought him here, any way I remember you as our senior Mr.Dev Purohith,I am Gaurav Khanna"
Dev nodded, he remembered this guy, but what angried him was the guy sitting here smiling chatting with Radhika. " Pleased to meet you Mr.Khanna. Any way Miss.Bharadwaj, I suggest you to keep your tea parties out of my hospital"
Radhika laughed " As you so eloquently put it Dev, its not your hospital and also I didn't have any tea party here, I didn't see any tea here. Do you gau?"
Gaurav shook his head in amusement " As much I like to see your remarks, for gods sake Avantika is waiting for me, and I need to leave. You remember those details right."
Radhika nodded her head smiling as he left and then she turned to Dev " So whats it now."
"We are leaving!"
Radhika raised her eye brow " Where?"
"Rawal"
Just then Pran who went out came in "Rawal! Mummy you are going to naanu's place."
Radhika sighed, Rawal was where her father lived and she didn't fancy going to see him. She looked at Pran and seeing his mouth full with icecream she frowned " Pran! did you eat icecream again"
Pran kept his hand on his mouth " I didn't"
Radhika chuckled seeing child act " Now stop the dramtics and come here" As he came near her she wiped off the cream on his mouth and then ruffled his hair " Hey kiddo! We are not going, its me who is going"
Pran stood up disappointed and then he looked at Dev , his eyes widened , he pointed at Dev and spoke " Mumma, Hunny Bunny!"
Radhika gave a face of despair " No Pran, you shouldn't call him like that, no he's not hunny Bunny" saying that she lifted and continued " Dev! ye mera bacha Pran, Pran ye mera senior hain Dev"
Dev looked at Pran amused, the boy was white with a bit of child fat, how ever his eyes were most expressive, brown, they remembered him of his wife, however, his hair, and mannerisms reminded him of the child hood photos his mom used to show him. " Hello pran"
Pran smiled " Hi Dev sir!"
"Dev thats it, no need for sir!"
" You used to ask my mumma to call you Dev sir! ryt, thats why I am also calling you sir!"
Radhika chuckled as Dev sighed. He knelt down infront of Pran and cupped his face " Thats different, Pran! Your mom was one of my juniors, and in college she has to call me that. Other wise people won't like it. But you are not my junior, so no need to call me that."
Pran looked confused " Then what shall I call you"
"Dev"
"No, mumma always tell me not to call elders by names. Its wrong. I will call you Papa"
Radhika stilled at that word, and Dev also looked stunned, he looked at Radhika, who was staring at Pran, she knelt infront of Pran and spoke " No Pran! You call him Uncle"
Pran looked at her mom and he know her well. He stopped speaking.
Radhika fidgeted as she spoke " Dev, I am not leaving to Rawal before tomorrow.Gud night , see you" saying that she picked up Pran and left

Dev sat in his room, staring out from window, Chaya, Rohan left to Delhi where Rohan is working. Dev didn't mind it, he liked his life to be alone. He doesn't even go to his home when no one was there, no it brought him many memories, he stay in his room in hospital. Dev didn't even bother to see who was it,thinking it was some cleaner. But he was startled by the voice " I searched for you every where you idiot"
Dev looked at Vishnu his class mate during MBBS and one of his good friends, that man, Radhika like him like a bro, infact she call him as bro. And he too like her in return in same way, why he can't understand for his life time. " You shouldn't have been, I am always here, when no one was at home"
Vishnu sat beside him " I know, but still I can't feel scared for you. For gods sake Dev do you think Chandrika will accept you becoming Devdas for her like this. You need to move on man"
Dev stared at Vishnu and laughed,what an irony is this? his best friend, thinking that he was galloping in sorrow for his dead wife, whom he married only for sake of his father. Not that she was good, but he never felt attached to her, yet he tried to keep her happy. But its not her, it was always some one, some one whom he was unlucky to lose in his life. Dev sighed and spoke " Vishnu, Its not the case man"
Vishnu looked at him sharply now " Then whom, you are galloping for Radhika?"
Dev stared at him in surprise , Vishnu nodded and continued " Do you think , I never noticed whats happening. May be you are such blind eyed, but I am not. You left her that day, because you thought your self unfit for her, she stayed all these days with out marrying any one because, she was always in love with you. When you gave ring to Bharka, I am completely against it, because I know she's not the one, whom you loved. You was attracted to her, but all the way You loved Radhika. I can't understand for my life, how did Chander or Sourab suggested you to propose Bharka, nor how didn't they even see your attraction to Radhika. But You truly love her man. You know what, I bet in all these 8 years once or other time, you would have forgot her, but she never forgotten you Dev. She adopted Pran only because he have some resemblance to you, and I also know you married Chandrika because she have some resemblance in her appearance to Radhika, Stop this non sense Dev, its 7 years. I bet even if Bharka was your true love,she wouldn't have waited for you this much time, anticipating nothing from you, only because of fact she love you. "
Dev bent his head down " I am unfit for her. When she said me she loved me, I said her i can never love her. You know what Vishnu, that day only my life was doomed. She waited for me, but I can't go to her and tell her that I love her more than my life... And that I lost my life because I lost her. She will consider me as a character less bas***d."
Vishnu sighed and he took a CD from his pocket, he kept it in player and then spoke to Dev " Radhika gave it to me on my last day of Graduation, because she felt so lonely and wanted to share her feelings with some one or other. And she can't speak with any one directly, about this.Look at it and then speak Mr.Dev Purohith" saying that Vishnu left.
Dev looked as the CD started to play , Radhika came into the play in a much younger version... she was wearing a red and white chudidaar, her face has a lost look, she sat in her room " Hi Bhai! Probably by now you have pestered me a lot, to say my problems out. I can't tell them directly, I don't have that much strength, so I am giving it in form of CD, and I hope you will break this CD after you view this.( Saying that she left a sigh and closed her eyes). I met Dev before 3.5 years online, I never know I am a socializable person until I met him, but he showed me my true self, which I my self feared to acknowledge it, which you all people saw in college. Radhika who was there before Dev entered her life was a shy girl who was very silent and who wanted to be best, and who took competitions in every small aspect of her life. A girl who was a more of introvert, a girl who was still lost in death of her loved ones. Dev brought the real me out, the one whom I truly was. He made me see that being best was not being in competition, but being actually doing our best. I always saw him as a best friend, a good teacher.
I saw him first the day in college, that day he met us, I don't have any feeling that day. But he entered more into my life, I developed feelings for him. At first I scolded my self, I thought them all to be wrong. I tried to delete him from my life, but he never let me. He always came into my life no matter what. I falled for him.I lvoed him, but then he started to avoid me, why I never know. He loved Bharka, he said me the day when I said him I love him with lots of hopes. I felt my world shattered,I tried to move on in my life, but one day he came back in my life again, he was concerned for me. Why? How can I bear it? Finally I quarelled with him and I stopped speaking with him. How ever again we met, but I stayed firm. Every minute, I want to speak with him and relish the moment, but no, I can't do it . How can I let my feelings for him develop, when he hate me. Yet I always felt he loved me, why? Bharka said me he proposed her, I felt like dying, but still held my self. Knowing absolutely how I will be feeling, yet she used to say me, I used to listen to her, but what I listened from her made me frown Bhai. He tried to change her, change her more like me, what shall I take of it Bhai., My instinct always said me, that he loved me, but he said me he didn't love me. What ever it is, I always love him Bhai. I saw him go nonchalantly on his graduation day, he went rather calmly, but later I saw a tear drop on the bouquet he holded, which he throwed off, why did he cry? Why? I know that day it self he loved me, but he didn't recognise it, or he didn't want to confess to me for what ever reasons he have. I will wait for him bhai, wait till the end of my life only to listen him saying me that he loved me. I know he will achieve great heights in his life, and will pray every day to god that, he will achieve it. I don't want to posses him Bhai, I love him. If that means waiting for him for an eternity. I will do that. Now you got your answer as per why I rejected every one who proposed me, and those matches I got. In my mind , he will always be my mate, and that will remain so."
As CD ended Dev sat on his knees infront of screen, seeing the frozen Radhika's pic, he had tears in his eyes, 7 years he lived having hell in his life, the woman whom he truly loved, not attracted to was out of his life, he himself lost her. In these 7 years he tried a lot to forget her, but he was unable to . Every minute he did that, Radhika's words echo in his ear " We can never forget the one whom we truly love , even if we try a lot' . He let all those tears he kept welled up, flow out.

Radhika can't understand the feel of unease she was having, she tucked in Pran to sleep, and sat on her recliner studying a novel, but her mind was having a lot of unease, her sixth sense was saying some thing big was going to happen. Radhika tried to ignore the feel but it wasn't happening.
As she was going through her thoughts, she got a call from Dev, she sighed, it had been years when Dev last time called her during this time, shoving her thoughts away, she attended the call "Haan Dev"
Dev's voice was eerily gross, as if he had some throat problem, but what he said her shocked her " I missed you a lot Radhika"
Radhika was confused, what happened , last time she checked, he doesn't drink, sighing she spoke " What happened /"
Dev spoke " I want to meet you, now. Will you come to that park beside hospital"
Radhika thought of it, after some time she nodded " I will , just five minutes."
Keeping off the phone, she woke up Dadi, saying her that she needed to go out, and taking her car keys she went out.

Radhika parked her car, and she waved at Dev, he saw her ans started to come toward her, her face was having some unknown emotion, she wondered why he was different, she ryt then saw a Car approaching in same direction, Dev didn't observe it. She shouted his name " Dev" and rushed towards him. But Car hit them both, and they both fall to ground . That car didn't stop, it moved off... As they lie on road, blood started to ooze off from their heads. Dev had tears in his eyes, Radhika closed her eyes and moved near to him, she looked at him and has a smile on her lips... As she closed her eyes she said him those words which she wanted to tell him " I love you Dev Purohith"

He who was now taking breath with difficulty said "Dev was always present for Radhika only. and Radhika will always belong to Dev only. I love u radhika"
She smiled listening this, and they both hugged each other, losing consciousness,.,.. Then they were droved away by water...
He woke up abruptly and find a throbbing pain in his head... he looked around to find himself in a hospital room, but it was a bit different, there was some person whom he doesn't know standing there, the guy might be in his late 20's, he was looking at him in worry, He signalled him to come forward. That man came, he tried to speak but his voice was hoarse, he motioned for water. That man nodded and gave him water, he drank them "Thanks. By the way can you tell me, where every one is. "
That man frowned " Whose every one bhai?"
He found it ridiculous that man was calling him Bhai, he chuckled " I am asking about my family,and my fiance"
He frowned " BBhai your fiance?"
He frowned now " Who are you? Why are you calling me Bhai?"
That man frowned " May I know your name please"
He shrugged " Dev Raj Purohith"
That man's eyes narrowed more " Yours parents names"
Dev looked at him ridiculously, seriously who in Delhi or Vrindavan doesn't know him, he answered any way " Raj Putohith and Vydehi Purohith. Any way tell me how my fiance is, she too was in accident with me"
That guy slumped in chair, " Aap ki fiance ka naam"
Dev rolled his eyes " Truly, Are you new to Vrindavan, You don't know who my fiance Radhika Sharma is?"
That guy looked confused " Bhai what happened to you. I mean, what hell are you speaking, don't you remember me Rohan, your brother and Our mom - dad name is Hari and Chaya, not The names you say. What happened to you?"
Dev looked at him confused "You are my brother, I have only one brother that's Vivek. Now how is Radhika tell me"
The guy, Rohan came near him " She's fine. She already got discharged and was in duty. Any time now, she may come on rounds as she's duty doctor today"
Dev frowned now " Radhika is doctor, what the hell is happening here. You might be mistaken., I am speaking about Radhika Sharma , my fiance she's a Business associate, not doctor as you put it. What's happpening here, Dev shouted."
Just then door opened and to his surprise Radhika came in, she looked at Rohan angrily " What did you do now Mr.Purohith, he is shouting. And why the hell doesn't you inform me that he woke up."
Rohan shrugged " I am sorry Miss.Bharadwaj, but Bhai here is behaving really strangely. Agree that he got on head, but he's speaking really strangely. "
Radhika glared at him " You know it very well your self , that you can't joke here. Just get out for a minute while I check him"
Rohan nodded, Radhika frowned seeing worry in his eyes and moved to Dev " Ok Now Dev, what happened, how are you feeling"
Dev saw her incredulously.../ Radhika frowned " Hello Hunny what happened" she waved her hand in front of him, he managed to get his voice " Radhika, when did you become Doctor"
Radhika frowned at him, and sat beside him "Dev, tell me what are you doing. "
Dev rolled his eyes " You managed to forget your MD's Job, my dear secretary"
Radhika was confused " You can answer me Dev"
" Well, You know I am MD of Purohith constructions and software. Now tell me what happened, and what are you doing as doctor here. " Then he cupped her face " Hey you don't have any injuries right... I truly feared when I woke up that, I managed but you didn't. That's by far worst scenario I can think of, if ever that had happened I would have killed my self to join you on other side. "
Radhika was dumb found... she got her self out from his grip and ran out...

PS:Okay,so you people ight have some idea of what was happening, now let me tell this, its not a pure fic, I heard of a case in our studies that the person got heavily injured and when he woke up, he doesn;'t remember any thing about himself , but he remembers himself as some other man, who used to live before this man was born, and who was not even remotely a relative of thsi man. lATER its confirmed that what he spoke was true. I thought to bring of it here.
