Part 4 Madhu was sitting on her swing near the pool. Though she totally didnt want it but still she was thinking about RK. She couldnt understand why this guy matters anything to her. May be because he is a new person and somehow the only person who had been outside of this film world. All the people she met or spent time with had been into this industry for a major portion of their lives. And Madhu herself had been a totally different case. But still she is a Superstar.. she cant afford to fall for him. Her carrier is at its peak, and falling into this love bizz wont do any good to her. But she coudnt understand how to get him out of her mind. She decided to call her only friend.
" Hey... how r u " she said excitedly hearing her voice after so long.
"Heyyy Di..." she said excitedly.
" wassup baby?""Not much... was at the cafe with my friends "
"My God.. Trish do u ever attend classes.. all the time u r just hanging out with friends... " she said shocked.
"Please Di.. I am not hanging anywhere.. i am comfortably sitting on the chair..." she said seriously.
" Aahh just cut the crap.""So howz the life going for the superstar?"
" It has to be perfect.." she said confidently.
"well I needed an advice... ""okay.. Go on..."
" There's this guy..." she continued nervously.
"Oh my God.. Atlasttt I hear about a guy from you... Do you know I was really getting panicky about it..." she said excitedly.
" Shut up Trish... Dont make assumptions..." she said angrily though she felt a little happy inside.
"Okay so.. there is this guy... wat next?" Trishna said asking her to continue with her story.
" yah.. so he is the hero of my next film... he is so cute and so sexy.. and" she started getting excited as she continued.
Trishna was patiently hearing the praising session of Madhu. At last she interrupted. "And I was being blamed for making assumptions."
Madhu realised her mistake and frowned as she was totally embarrassed.
"I cant understand if he so good then what is the problem?" Trishhna asked confused.
" I cant get myself to stop thinking about him.." she said exasperated.
"But why do you want that?" Trishna said even more confused. "If you love him you should accept it.."
"Have you gone nuts??? LOVE! Do you know you are talking to Madhubala" she said getting stunned.
"So... Madhubala cant get excited about a guy?" She asked confused.
"Of course not you stupid.. " she said in a clipped tone.
"ohh my god you are confusing me like hell..." she said irritated. "Okay what do u want from me?"
" I want to stop thinking of him...""So dont think about him.." she said.
" Its not that easy idiot... I ignored him for whole day. But still I am not able to control myself..." she said getting disheartened.
"Thats the problem... You are ignoring him.. you are conscious continuously that you need to stay away from him that makes you remember him all the time. And then when you have to face him. You again get conscious of the fact that you like him thats why you should have ignored being there with him..." she explained to her very confidently.
" Oh my God... what does all that even mean..." Madhu's eyes went wide.
"See..." Trishna started to explain agaiin.
" Just tell me what I have to do... instead of beating around the bush..." Madhu said angrily.
"Okay... Dont ignore him... stay normal like you would with anybody else... treat him as a normal friend and then he would be nothing special to you.."
" Okkaaayyy " Madhu said getting enlightened.
"You see... I am brilliant.." Trishna gets excited at herslef.
" acha good.. Thanks.. Other than this.. How is everything else going... Do you need something? " and they continued with other general talks and soon Madhu was on her bed and to sleep. Talking to Trishna had made her nerves relax.

The next day Madhu entered the studio. Somehow she was searching for RK. But couldnt find him. Unknowingly she walked towards his vanity and saw him reading his script as he sat on the chair.
" Hi mam... Its a pleasure that you are here.. " RK said as he saw her coming towards his place.
" yeah.. I just came so thought to check if you are here or not... We have a scene together today.." she said trying to make up for her mistake.
" Yeah.. I am looking forward to it.." he said approvingly.
" I hope you are not being nervous like the previous day.." Madhu tried to act as formal as possible. She rememmbered Trishna telling her to behave normally with him.
" Me nervous.. Never... Nervousness doesnt even touch me " RK said confidently.
Madhu raised an eyebrow at him trying to remind him the last time they had a shoot together.
" Well that day you see... Your eyes just captured me... " RK said flirtingly.
" Impressive..." Madhu smiled at him.
" And apart from that I want to thank you... "Madhu looked at him confused.
" You came with me for a coffee... Now I understood what your intention was... you wanted me to get comfortable so that it would help in our next scene... That was really thoughtfull... It really helped me... Thanks a lot " RK said genuinely.
"No need to, RK... " Madhu said smiling but her heart had strange feelings. She was relieved that he didnt took her gesture as something wrong but she also felt bad that their date just felt like a professional meet to him.
" well.. see you at the sets RK" she went away.
RK himself felt bad as he had said that expecting somewhere in his heart that she would say that it was a friendly hang out and has nothing to do with the scene or the film but he knew Madhubala's world revolved around this industry. So her doing something other than that was almost impossible. He respected her a lot... but somewhere like all the other boys of the country he had that infatuation for her. And being an exception that he was actually in contact with her personally made him expect a reciprocation from her. But he knew she was too big for him. And he cant handle a love and rejection scenario at this starting point of his carrier.
The shot was ready and Madhubala entered the set. The technicians were setting up there equipments. It had to be a romantic scene. With all the breeze blowing and leaves flying all over. She spotted RK working on his make up. She muttered angrily to herself if somebody could tell him to look a bit less hot. Huh... she called for a chair in frustration and sat down.
"Kapoor ji.. You know I dont like waiting. " she said showing her displeasure.
"Madhu, it wont take a minute... You have your touch ups... and it would be done" he said knowing full well of her mood swings.
Soon everything was set and the shot got ready. Madhu moved to the center where RK was already waiting for her. RK gave her a big smile. Though Madhu had decided not to entertain this magnetic dude anymore but she couldnt help but reciprocate his smile. But she didnt forget to curse herself for that.
The scene started and RK held her by the waist and pulled her closer. He did seem confident today unlike the previous day. He was a great learner. Soon the love filled eyes of his captured Madhu. She couldnt help but stare at him. Good that the scene demanded it or else she would have made a fool out of herself. RK swayed her according to the dance moves and Madhu just moved along. Never in her lonely life had anybody made her move to their tunes. It was always her who used to make people dance to her whims and fantasies. But here she was swaying and moving according to this person. She had never gotten out of character in her life but at this time, it wasnt Anjali dancing with Arjun but it was Madhu moving around RK.
As the dance came towards the end he pulled her closer to him and looked into her eyes passionately.
" I want to be with you for the rest of my life... Anjali..."Madhu shook to her senses... What.. Anjali... Who the hell is that. Oh wait a sec... Its a SCENE... She quickly regained her composure and gave the appropriate expressions.she was highly annoyed with herself. How can she be such a fool.
The scene completed and the hall echoed with a CUT IT! and Madhu sharply turned away to hide her awkwardness.
" You are amazing... The way you did this whole scene it didnt once feel like it was just acting.. Seeing you on screen is always a treat but seeing you actually do that... Its another level.. " RK said from behind.
Madhu had by now regained her composure. She turned back with an arrogant smile.
" Well Thats Madhubala"" Really..." he said amazed.
" You know for few minutes I just forgot that we are acting.. It felt so real... You really live the character like you said that evening..." " Shhh... I told you not to go drums and beats about it... You never know who among them is a press spy..." she said whispering as if really a part of sherlock holmes drama.
Rishabh looked almost stunned at the innocent face that was hidden behind the Superstar. She looked so naive. He just got lost in her eyes... He came out of it when Madhu turned around to walk away. He could feel a strange tingle in his heart.
Madhu on the other hand was angry with herself as well as dreaded. She had never got out of the character during a scene, so how could it happen today. How can she just loose herself like that... And RK... why is he making her loose track of herself. Never in her life had such a thing happened. But his eyes... those were so passionate. The way he looked in my eyes.. it seemed so promising. RK made her feel so special. He even said that he forgot he was acting, was it the same for him like it was for her. Was that passion in his eyes for me and not Anjali...
She wished she could go and ask him that. She even turned around to run to her RK but just then a mirror came in front of her. Some technicians were taking the mirror somewhere. She freezed seeing the image
'Ohh Its Madhubala Malik in the mirror... No wait... Its me... Madhubuala... I cant go to anyone and let my feelings come tobthe surface.. I cant even think that fr myself. All this love and partnership is all rubbish. And what if he doesnt think the same.. What if he doesnt love me back... what if he rejects me. No.. Nobody can reject ME! I am not going to let that happen.' Madhu decided she wont let herself be an object of rejection. Be it RK, or anyone. She put on her sunglasses with arrogance and looked at herself confidently.. Getting back into the skin of Superstar she turned back to where she was going before.
