I actuallly thought to quit due to some personal reasons... but couldn't... All thanks to Rafaheli...it's her birthday and i'm updating for her ...SPECIAL SORRY TO @RAFAHELI @MahimaMV, @sandystarz19, @Cherrybloom1 @DIVYA1122 and all those ppl who kept waiting for the next chapter but i didn't show up! Really sorry for ditching like that ...

Part 51

Her heart started pounding, beads of sweat started to form on his forhead, her breath quickened and she didn't know what do or where to go. Her knees gave up but before she touched the ground, two strong arms enclosed her.

Two concerned, shocked, scared eyes scanned through her petite body as to find out the cause of her state but there wasn't any bruise. Arnav started to shake her holding her shoulder, patted her cheeks, and rubbed her palms and feet but no response. He took her in his arms and ran towards his car.

When she opened her eyes, she saw a doctor checking her blood pressure in the hospital.

Doctor: How're you feeling Mrs Raizada?

"do you see a crowd near that building infront of you? check there. someone has met with an accident. Who knows if it is..."

Khushi sits up on the bed with a horrified expression scaring the doctor.

Doctor: What is it Mrs Raizada? Are you in pain?

Khushi: where is Arnavji?

Doctor: don't worry Mrs Raizada, he's outside, filling out some forms. Are you in pain Mrs..

She doesn't let the doctor finish his sentence and runs out of the corridor escaping from the nurse who tried to catch her. She ran through the corridor and after few minutes she saw him at the reception, on the same coat he was wearing in the morning, talking to the receptionist about something. In no time she ran to him embracing him from behind.

Arnav was shocked as he wondered who it could be since khushi is with the doctor. He held the hands that enclosed him and turned around to see khushi. her face was pale, eyes were red.

Arnav shocked: Khushi?!

He immediately took her in his arms, with one hand on hthe back of her head and one on her back. He was horrified like anything. First she asks him to get those street food and when he gets back, she's disappeared. And when he finally finds her, she's unconscious. And now that she's finally in her senses, she's crying, sobbing scaring the freak out of him.

Arnav: hey! Are you okay sweetheart?

Khushi: you're alright, Arnavji!

Khushi tightened her hold around him as if if she doesn't, she'll lose him.

Khushi repeated: You're alright! Thanks to DM!

Indeed, she's the most unpredictable girl he has ever come across. She gets unconscious in the middle of a crowd on a street, she is in the hospital, she comes to him sobbing holding him tight and now she's thanking her DM because I'm alright? Arnav held her back so that he could see her face. He wiped the tears with his thumb

Arnav cupping her face: khushi? Are you feeling better?

Khushi nodded.

Arnav: And what were you saying about me being alright?

Khushi knew what the consequence of it would be even if Arnav gets a hint of what's going on with her for the past 3 days.

Khushi shook her head: nothing Arnavji..I..

The doctor and nurse came running cutting her in the middle.

Doctor: Mrs Raizada! Are you okay Mrs Raizada. Why did you run out of the chamber. You were in middle of a treatment.

Arnav shocked: Khushi?!

Khushi: uhh... no Arnavji, it's just that I needed to check on you that you're here in the hospital. That's all. You know how scared I get when I don't see you beside me right?

Khushi said with a fake smile enough for Arnav to suspect.

Arnav: nurse, take her to the room. I'll be right there sweetheart!

He kissed her forhead: Go.

Khushi and the nurse left/

Arnav: What happened doctor?

Doctor: I don't know Mr Raizada, Mrs raizada gained consciousness and panicked for you.

Arnav frowning: What do you mean?

Doctor: she woke up and asked where you are and if you're alrtight and then in no time she ran out of the room.

Arnav in deep thought.

Doctor: Mr raizada?

Arnav: oh .. ummm.. thanks Doctor. And everything is normal with khushi right? Nothing too concerning.

Doctor: not really... Just make sure she doesn't skip her breakfast, lunch or dinner. I'll just check her blood pressure and discharge her.

Arnav: Thanks doctor.

The nurse was handing khushi apple juice when arnav entered the room.

He looked at her smiling making her smile back. The nurse excused herself. He sat beside her kissing her forehead and cupping her left cheek with his palm.

Arnav: what happened there?

Khushi widening her eyes, very well known of what he's talking about: What happened where?

Arnav who knows his wife has done PHD in hiding stuffs that stresses pr concerns him smiled.

Arnav: on the road khushi.

Khushi: I fainted.

Arnav: reason?

Khushi: nothing just...

Arnav: Has it ever happened that you were successful in hiding something from me sweetheart?

Arnav's sweet yet stern voice just confirmed that he won't let this matter go until he knows everything. After all this is her third time behaving weirdly without any reason.

Khushi: I...I just thought that the man lying on the street was you.

Arnav: And why you thought that?

Khushi: you... I... well... you ,...

Arnav raised one of his eyebrows suspecting more

Khushi: Arnavji, It's so obvious for typical wife to panic for her husband you know! Nothing as big as you're thinking.

Arnav: you better telling the truth sweetheart!

The doctor entered the room and checked her BP which was a bit low. He strictly suggested not to skip her meal and not to stress out for anything.

It was 2:00 am... Arnav was sleeping khushi holding her close to his chest when her phone buzzed. Khushi well knew who it was and was expecting the call. Her heart started to race and she slowly freed herself from Arnav and went to the poolside.

She pressed the green button.

Rahul: So Mrs Raizada was admitted in the hospital huh? I see! So? Is your Arnavji alright?

He waited for her reply but no response.

Rahul: Little Mrs Raizada is scared now is she?? Aww! Don't worry, nothing will happen to your arnavji until you keep everything secret baby. By the way, I'll let you know when we're meeting for... you know what I mean right? Hello? Are you there?

hmm I have done PHD on cliff hanging from University of cliff hanger! 😎
