RECAP : Shivam hits a car. Sean and Kriya carry out their plan. Kriya bribes the doctor to kill the accident victim. Rey gets a surprise visit by his parents.
CHAPTER 17
EVERYTHING IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR
Rey was unable to speak anything. His parents had just called the girl who was acting like his stalker their "BAHU". He had never imagined that Kriya would stoop so low. He had to clear this confusion.
R : Dad... (pointing towards Kriya)... ye wo nahi hai jo aap samajh rahe hai...
Rd : Beta its ok... Hum naraz nahi hai...
Rm : (hugging Kriya) But tumhe humse itni badi baat chupani bhi to nahi chahiye thi...
R : Meri baat to suniye... YE AAP KI BAHU NAHI HAI !!!
Rm : Matlab kya hai Reyaansh?
R : Matlab ki ye...
K : (cutting Rey, trying to hide her anger)... Aunty Rey kehna chahte hai ki aap mujhe bahu nahi beti jaisi samjhiye.
Rd : Beti jaisi nahi... hum to tumhe apni beti hi samjhte hai... (to Rey's mom) Gayatri ab chalo bhi... unhe thoda privacy to do... (and both of them leave for their home)
Rey was fuming with anger. Why can't his parents see that Kriya was not the girl he loved? And what was Kriya doing there in the RH? Where was Taani?
R : (holding Kriya by her hand and making her turn) Kriya ...Where is Taani ?
K : (as the sight of the girl lying in the ICU, surrounded by tubes visualized in front of her an evil smile adorned her lips. Though she had not seen the girl's face but she was confirmed on seeing the passport which screamed her name "TAANI SHEKHAWAT")
R : (tightening his hold) "TAANI KAHAN HAI?"
K : (freeing herself) "JAHAN USSE BOHOT PEHLE CHALE JANA CHAHIYE THA"
R : (his eyes wide in fear) Kya kiya tumne Taani ke saath?
K : Kiya nahi hai... (Rey's phone starts ringing, "SWAYAM CALLING" displayed on his screen)... Ya shayad kar diya...
R : YOU ARE DISGUSTING !!! (picks up the call) Haan Swayam...(Swayam says something)... WHAT? HOSPITAL ME HAI? KAB? KAISE? TU TENSION MAT LE MAIN ABHI AATA HU... (leaves from there)
K : Jaane wale ko kaun rok sakta hai...(with a evil smile).. Bhagwan tumhari aatma ko shanti de Taani... (breaks Taani's phone and leaves)

The doctor looked at the wad of notes the other guy had handed him. They were almost double the amount Kriya had handed him. Why was everyone after this girl? Shoving the notes in his pocket, he dialed a number and waited.
Doc : Kaam ho gaya Miss...
?? : Finally Taani is dead !!!
Doc : Taani?
Before the doctor could say anything the call was disconnected.
Doc : (to himself) Taani kaun hai ab? (then looking at the guy in front of him) Aap ne mujhe us ladki se jhut bolne bola, maine bol diya. ICU me jo ladki hai usse kal tak hosh aa jayega...
The guy looked at the scared doctor and grinned. He liked to see the fear in the eyes of his victims. His eyes still on the doctor, he called Sean.
Guy : "BOSS AAP SAHI THE..."
Sean : "SEAN IS ALWAYS CORRECT !"
Guy : Jaisa aap ne kaha tha waise hi maine Kriya ko follow kiya. Ab kya karna hai boss?
Sean : Us ladki ko kuch mat karo bus Kriya ke bhai ko utha lao. Kriya se kuch hisab barabar karna hai ab...
Guy : Jaisa aap kahe... (and the call gets disconnected.)
Shivam was waiting outside the ICU for the girl to regain consciousness. He was unable to understand why none of her known ones had arrived till now. He was about to call Kriya when he felt a piece of cloth being forced on his face and he blacked out due to the chloroform.

Slowly as she regained consciousness, she tried to stretch her arms but was unable to do so. She realized she was tied to a chair and her mouth was gagged. She tried to undo the ropes but all in vain. Due to her movements, her almost numb fingers touched someone else's fingers. She turned her head side ways but all she could register was that there was another guy tied with his back towards her. As her eyes moved around the room searching for an exit, she saw him enter along with few other men. He noticed her awake and smirked at her helplessness. Then turning to his men he said...
"DHYAN SE DEKHO INHE..."
With a disgusted look on her face, she kept on trying to undo her ropes. He moved forward to her and cupped her face and removed the tape from her mouth.
"MISSED ME?"
"GO TO HELL !" she literally spitted the words on his face.
"HAVE A LOOK AT THESE BEAUTIFUL..." he said holding the picture in front, his hands caressing her face.
As she saw the guy in the picture, she shouted on him "REY? HOW COULD YOU?"
"ENOUGH !" he shouted at her, slamming the tape back on her mouth.
She so wanted to hit this jerk in such a place that he would never ever be able to show his face to anyone. She hated him. She wished Swayam or Rey could be with her now. She sensed the guy tied behind her regaining consciousness. Their kidnapper went towards him and removed the tape from his mouth making him scream and he dialled a number.

Swayam rushed towards the ICU followed by the entire gang. One of the two important woman in his life lay there, senseless. He sat down by Sharon's side. Everyone had been silent since they got the news of the accident.
Swayam held her hand and with tears in his eyes, said "SHARON PLEASE KUCH TO BOLO..."
Her silence was killing him. he had never expected to see her in this state. And where was Rey when she needed him the most? Taani had Sharon had become best friends. So where was her BFF now?
"SWAYAM THODA TIME DE USSE..." said Rey as he saw Swayam about to break-down.
Sw : Time... Time hi to nahi hai mere pass Rey !!! Jab laga ki sab kuch ache se chal raha hai tab...
R : (hugging Swayam) Sab thik ho jayega. Tu chinta mat kar. Sharon ko kuch nahi hoga...
Sw : (wiping his tears) Taani... Taani kahan hai?
R : (shocked) Tumhare saath nahi hai?
Sw : Wo to tumse milne gayi thi na...
R : (thinks : Kriya... Kriya ne hi kuch kiya hoga ! Par abhi Swayam ko bataya to... nahi.. abhi aur tension nahi de sakta...) Arey haan... Wo mere mom dad ko pick karne gayi thi...
Sw : Rey tu ghar ja. Tere mom dad kitne dino baad aaye hai... Vicky, Nil sab hai yahan pe...
R : Ye tu kaisi baat kar raha hai? (his phone vibrates "MOM CALLING", he chucks the call)
Sw : Rey tu ghar jaa...
R : Dude tu ok hoga na?
Sw : Haan... now go... and please ho sake to Taani ko aaj apne ghar me rukne bolna. Main nahi chahta wo akeli rahe... (looking at Sharon)... Main Sharon ke saath rehna chahta hu...
Rey places a comforting hand on his shoulder and leaves to know why his mother was calling and where was Taani. He knew all his questions were revolving around one single cause - KRIYA.

Rey's mom and dad were in a fix on what to do. They had never imagined in their worst nightmares that their son would secretly marry and that too at such a young age. Most of all, they didn't like the girl he had chose as his life-partner.
Rm : "MUJHE YE LADKI BILKUL PASAND NAHI HAI..."
Rd : "MUJHE BHI NAHI BUT PATA NAHI REY NE ISME KYA DEKHA?"
Rm : Pata nahi jab bhi Kriya aas paas hoti hai mujhe usse negative vibes hi aate hai.
Rd : Mujhe bhi wo kafi weird lagi... but jab Rey ne shaadi kar hi li hai to...
Rm : Usne aur koi option hi nahi choda.
Rd : Kriya ko apni bahu banane ke alawa hum aur kuch kar bhi to nahi sakte...
They hear the door being opened and saw Kriya entering with her luggage. They didn't want her to stay in their house but as now she was their daughter-in-law, her husband's home would be her home too. So with fake smiles plastered on their faces, they welcomed her.

Kriya was gloating on her victory. She had killed two birds with one arrow. She had got Taani killed and got Rey's parents believe that Rey had married her secretly. She was brought down to earth by the ringing of her phone. Seeing an unknown number, she picked up the call...
K : Hello...
?? : Tum jaise dost ho to dushman ki kya zarurat?
K : SEAN???
Sean : Tumhara kuch kimti saman mere paas hai... zara awaz sun lo.. (she heard Shivam scream in pain)
K : Hahaha... Kimti ? Shivam ko kidnap kar ke tum mujhe blackmail kar rahe ho?
Sean : Blackmail nahi... hisab barabar kar raha hu ! Tumne Taani ko marne ke liye paise diye the na...
K : (cutting him off) HAAN ! DIYE MAINE PAISE ! IN FACT MAR BHI GAYI HOGI AB TAK WO ! KAROGE KYA TUM? SHIVAM KO MAROGE? MARO... WO TO MERA APNA BHAI BHI NAHI HAI !!!!
Sean : OOPS ! I FORGOT TO TELL YOU THAT YOU WERE ON SPEAKER...
Sh : (screams in pain as Sean removed the duct tape again) YOU ARE A SELF-CENTERED BI**H KRIYA !!!
K : (cursing Sean mentally) "SHIVAM EK BAAR..."
Sean : (putting the duct tape over his mouth again) "... BUS KARO AB"
K : Yeh tumne thik nahi kiya Sean !!!
Sean : Maine to in fact ab tak kuch kiya hi nahi hai... (and disconnects the call before Kriya could answer)
K : (kicking the table near her) DAMN IT !

Taani was shocked on seeing Kriya to be so selfish. She felt bad for Shivam. Shivam, who had looked up to Kriya as his elder sister now saw her real face. He now wanted to get out of this damn room and show kriya where she belonged. He kept on rubbing the ropes on the chairs edge as tightly as he could. Slowly his ropes started breaking and he was able to break free of his bond.
He could have left Taani there but then what would be the difference between him and Kriya? He sat like his hands were still tied and slowly undid Taani's ropes. Taani felt the blood rushing in her veins as the numbness faded away. She knew she had to trust Shivam if she wanted to get out of the mess.
They waited patiently till the man guarding them fell asleep. Both of them undid the ropes on their legs and removed the duct tapes from their mouths. Shivam hit the guard on his head and took the gun from his hands and made their way out. There were 3 more hired goons whom Shivam shot without giving a single thought. He held Taani's hand and ran from there. Luckily or unluckily, Sean was not present there. Taani looked at Shivam as they hired a taxi. She could see the pain of betrayal clearly in his eyes.
T : Thanks for saving me. I am Taani.
Shivam : Welcome. (shaking her hand) Shivam.
T : So... abhi kahan jaoge?
Shivam : Pata nahi... But jahan bhi jaunga Kriya ko uski jagah zarur dikha ke jaunga.
T : Ek kaam karo tum mere aur bhai ke saath ruk jao. Mujhe bhi tumhari behen se kafi kaam hai.
Shivam : (laughing sarcastically) To tum bhi meri behen slash dushman ki dushman ho...
T : Haan... aur dushman ke dushman dost hote hai...
Shivam : ZARUR...
Taani took Shivam to their house. As she saw that no one was there in the house, she handed the keys to Shivam and told him to make himself comfortable as she was going to Rey's house. Shivam gave a pained smile at her and nodded.

Even before Rey could knock, Kriya opened the door dressed up in a saree. He was about to bombard her with questions and accusations when he noticed his parents sitting behind in the couch.
R : "TUM YAHAN KYA KAR RAHI HO?"
Rm : Kaun hai Kriya?
K : Rey hai mummy ji...
R : MUMMY JI? WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? (he hissed at her)
K : Mrs. KRIYA REYAANSH SINGHANIA...
R : ISSE PEHLE KI TUMHARA YAHAN TAMASHA BAN JAYE CHALE JAO YAHAN SE !
K : (suddenly hugs him)
R : (trying to free himself) KAR KYA RAHI HO TUM?
K : (shouting) "WAHI JO EK BAHU KO KARNA CHAHIYE..."
R : BAHU ? KAHAN KI... (before he could complete he heard his name being shouted)
"REY ? "
He saw the smug yet shocked look on Kriya's face and then turned to find a stunned Taani standing there with tears flowing down her face. The word kept on resounding in her ears "WAHI JO EK BAHU KO KARNA CHAHIYE". The picture Sean had shown her floated in front of her eyes. She hadn't believed it then but now she couldn't believe on her eyes and ears. "BAHU..." So Rey had married Kriya. She saw Rey move towards her but then she had no courage left to console her broken heart and face the person responsible for it. She took off the ring Rey had given to her and threw it at his face as she ran from there.
K : (to herself) Ye bach kaise gayi? And agar yeh ICU me nahi hai to maine kisko marne ke liye paise diye?
PRECAP : SHARON'S RECOVERY. SEAN GETS BACK AT KRIYA. SHIVAM AND TAANI TEAM UP FOR REVENGE.
