RECAP : TR romance in Goa just before their return to Mumbai.
CHAPTER 16-B
THE PLAN...
Rey was pacing up and down in the rehearsal hall. It was their last week in college. They had given such a brilliant performance in Goa that they were now getting offers to perform as a professional team. He wanted to spend this each and every moment of their last week in college with Taani. He was so lost in planning their future ahead that he didn't notice Taani enter the RH.
T : Whats the problem?
R : (looking at her) Our future...
T : Matlab?
R : Matlab... (closing the distance between them)... humara academy hoga, tum meri wife hogi and...
T : (pushing him away) Me? Your wife? Yeh tum kya bol rahe ho? Kriya tumhari wife hogi na...
R : WHAT???

Rey jolted upright on his bed. He looked at his surroundings and took a breath of relief.
R : Damn ! Bura sapna tha yeh to... (looks at the clock) Shit... Aaj agar late ho gaya to Taani to mujhe aise hi maar degi.
He gets up from the bed and goes to freshen up.

"Di please help..." he whined for the fifth time now.
"Kya kia tumne?" came the reply.
"I... I hit a car... AND ITS FREAKING ME OUT !!!" he said, afraid.
"Ok... cool down... Tum ho kahan abhi Shivam?"
"Ghar se koi 2-3 km dur..."
"Wait there I am coming..." and the call was disconnected.
Shivam's eyes looked up from the cell and looked at the car he had hit. He was freaking out and seeing the driver of the car so still... It freaked him out more.
"Jab tak Di nahi aati tab tak mujhe hi kuch karna chahiye..." he thought and moved towards the wrecked cars.
Though he was injured but they were only minor cuts and scratches as he had jumped out of the car seeing that the accident was inevitable. He reached the other car and tried to open the door but failed. Finding no other option, he picked up a sharp stone and hit the already cracked window with all his strength. He kept on hitting until he was able to slide his hand in and unlock the door. He pulled the driver out and laid the driver on the roadside. He saw that the driver was badly injured but luckily was still alive.

Sean gave a questioning look at Kriya. She gave her an attitude look.
K : I am not your servant Sean !!! So stop questioning me...
Sean : (giving an evil grin) Pehle kaam to pura karo...
K : Job's done. Rey ke parents aaj dopahar me land karenge. And I know what to do...
Sean : Jo bhi karna but meri Taani ko kuch nahi hona chahiye. I'll keep Rey and Taani busy.
K : Rey doesn't know that his parents are coming. So do whatever you want to with Taani. I don't give her a damn !
Sean : (twisting her wrist) Better start giving... Agar Taani ko ek kharoch bhi aaya then I'll destroy you, your family and ...(speaking through his teeth) YOUR REY !!!
K : (massaging her wrist) Fine ! I have some urgent work now. So I need to go now. (and leaves from there...)
Sean turns and looks at Taani's picture hanging there.
Sean : Bohot wait kara rahi ho Taani... Dekho I gave you three sweet months of happiness with that Rey... Bus aaj ek din aur... Fir tum khud mere paas aaogi... (tightening his hold on the glass he was holding, breaking it)... aur nahi aayi to tumhe itna majboor kar dunga ki tumhare paas aur koi option hi nahi hoga...

Rey's car screeched to a halt as he reached the college campus for the last time. He was running late for his date with Taani but he couldn't stop himself from slowing down and looking at every place of the college. All his memories rushed to him. How he used to play basket ball as a stress-buster. His romantic match with Taani in the rain...
FLASHBACK
R : Kya Taani? Dar gayi?
T : (showing her tongue) Ouch ! Mera ego hurt hua. (giving one of her killer smile) Challenge accepted. Let's play.
R : And winner ko kya milega?
T : hmmm... Harne wale ko jeetne wale ki baat manni padegi aur wo mana nahi kar sakta.
R : (smirking) Then I know what to ask from you...
T : (throwing the ball towards him) Pehle hara ke to dikhao...
And they started playing basket ball which much to his surprise Taani won.
T : Did I forget to mention that I was basket ball champion of my college? (looking at Rey's shocked expression) Oops sorry... (and they both had laughed their heart out...)
FLASHBACK ENDS
A laugh escaped Rey's lips as he the memories flooded him. He entered the RH knowing very well that a fuming Taani, ready to explode would be waiting for him.

Shivam decided not to take any risk. His sister had still not come to his help. He stood in the middle of the road asking for help. He feared that the driver's condition might turn worse if treatment was delayed. Finally an auto stopped and he lifted the unconscious driver and went to the near-by hospital.
None of the doctors were ready to treat the driver as it was a police case. Shivam literally begged the doctor to help him and the driver. He fell on his knees and was pleading to each and every doctor who passed their way. Finally one doctor agreed and got the driver admitted. Since the injuries were almost fatal, the driver was shifted to the ICU immediately.
One of the nurse bandaged Shivam's wound when his cell rang. He immediately picked up the call.
Shivam : Di kahan ho aap?
Di : Accident spot me. I told you to wait... Where are you?
Shivam : In Lilavati hospital.
Di : Tumhe zyada to lagi nahi hai na?
Shivam : Nahi di.. but She is in ICU...
Di : SHE???
Shivam : Haan.. wo dusre car ki driver. She is critical di...
Di : Tum wahin ruko... Let me handle the police. (and she chucked the call)
Shivam peeped through the glass at the girl lying there just because of his carelessness. He was unable to remove his eyes from her face. If the girl could look so beautiful even when surrounded with pipes and tubes, how pretty and lively she must be when conscious. His heart pained seeing the beauty lying there almost lifeless in front of him. He couldn't deny the magnetic effect she was now having on him.
"Mr. Shivam Ghai..." called the doctor making Shivam snap out of his trance.

"SHE..." Kriya repeated to herself.
She looked at one of the wrecked car and immediately recognized it. An evil grin on her lips, she went to the wrecked car and picked the passport which was lying among the debris. She confirmed that her thoughts were right.
After finishing all the police formalities, she rushed to the hospital where his brother was waiting. Seeing that he had minor injuries, she hugged him and went to look at the girl lying in the ICU. Making a sad and concerned face in front of Shivam, she informed him that she knew the girl and saying she was going to inform her relatives, she moved towards the hospital's entrance. She dialed a number and said...
"YEAH... SHE IS IN ICU ! MAKE SURE SHE NEVER MAKES IT..."
"I'LL SEE TO IT THAT SHE DOESN'T STAY ALIVE..." came a voice from behind.
Kriya turned and looked at the doctor who had agreed to treat the injured driver and Shivam. Handing him a bundle of notes, she nodded at him. She went back to Shivam and told him to go home but he was unwilling to leave the girl alone. Finally giving in ti his stubbornness, Kriya left to complete the plan she had made with Sean.

Rey was shocked on not finding Taani in RH. He called her but no one picked up the call. He had searched the entire college but there was no sign of Taani. It was 12 in the noon now and he was getting tensed. Thats when he got a message from her.
"REHEARSAL HALL IN 5 MINS"
Seeing the message, he sighed and shook his head at Taani's way to surprise him. As he reached the RH, he saw that all the lights were switched off. He smiled knowing that Taani was again going to shock him. Suddenly a spotlight fell on him, blinding him momentarily while another spotlight lit up another figure present there.
Main roo-baroo hoon aasmaan ke (she turns, her face down)
Aks meri dastaan ke (slowly splits down)
Chaa gaye sabki nigaahon mein (moves her hand in front of her eyes behind a mask)
Muthi mein hai saara jahan yeh (lying on her back twirls her legs in the air)
Maine joh chaha yahan peh (sits up her hand pointing towards Rey)
Aa gaya meri panaahon mein (brings her hand back as the spotlight dims)
Yeh shauhraton ke naach hai (She spins around Rey)
Yeh daulatien joh aaj hai (with one hand caresses Rey's cheeks)
Sab kuch yahan ek raaz hai (slides her finger to Rey's lips)
Haan raaz hai (turns away from Rey)
Khud pe mujhe joh naaz hai (leans on Rey's back)
Yeh joh naya andaaz hai (making Rey turn)
Sab kuch yahan ek raaz hai (placing her finger on her lips)
Haan raaz hai (makes Rey face towards the RH entrance as the RH lights up)
R : Mom? Dad? Aap log kab aaye?
Rm (Rey's mom) : Humari hone wali bahu hume layi hai...
R : (blushing) Aap ko pasand aayi?
Rd (Rey's dad) : Usne to humara dil jeet liya hai Rey... Kyu beti?
She removes her mask and gives a self-satisfactory smile to Rey who stares at her in utter shock.
PRECAP : Rey gets the biggest shock of his life. Shivam comes to rescue.
