Jalauddin Akbar's favoruite Begum is breathing fire these days as there is someone who is competing with her for the Emperor's affections!

We told you how, after saving Jalal from the poisonous pangs of Benazir by hair's breadth, Jodha took death upon herself. This gesture moved Jalal like never before, and he prayed hard brought back her life from the paws of death.

And now, after their trip to the Holy Shrine, we can see sparks flying between Jodha and Jalal. However, the much possessive Ruqaiya Begum is not taking this new romance in the Agra Fort, too nicely. Today, when Bakshi Banu was welcomed back home by the Emperor and his family, everyone was shown showering praises sand blessings on Jodha for playing the main role in uniting her with her family.

Of course, Ruqaiya Begum was least bothered to join the thankful league. So, she chose not to say much except grin and bear it.

But things turned from sour to bitter when she saw Jodha Begum playing the game of chess with Jalal. Ask why? Because, Jalal has been exclusively playing this game with Ruqaiya, even before Jodha came into the picture. This is something reserved only for Jalal's first Begum. Hence, the anger.

Anyway, although Jalal managed to cool down Ruqaiya Begum's temper, Jodha said something which left Jalal furious.

No, she did not badmouth Begum Ruqaiya, but asked Jalal to forgive Bakshi Banu's jailed husband Saifuddin.
