TOI: Praneet Bhatt injured on the sets of Mahabharat!

Actor Praneet Bhatt who plays the cunning Shakuni in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Mahabharat, injured himself on the sets of Mahabharat.


Talking about the incident Praneet tells, "Arpit, Nirbhay and I were shooting together for a sequence and I was addressing something to Basudev (Saurabh Raj Jain). So I came ahead a bit from the ramp and before I realized, I fell from the height of 10 feet. For few seconds it was a complete black out for me. The cast and crew were very tense seeing me in that condition. I was given immediate medical help. My nose was swollen too. But as the showman Raj Kapoor said once -- the show must go on. So I ended my shooting on the day and took an off the following day."

This is not the first injury at work for Praneet. A couple of years ago when Praneet was doing Arsenal, he was about to drown in a water sequence. "We actors have to be real in whatever situations we are given. Both in Hollywood and Bollywood, actors who have done their own scenes with lots of conviction and dedication are successful. Audience only loves you when they see the real emotions in the characters played by you."
