Chapter 68

Raji gives coffee to Karthik and moves from there.
Karthik: enga pore?
Raji: Good night Karthik...
Karthik: naan un kitta pesanum... iru Raji...
Raji: kaalaile 6 manikku phone pannu ... pesaren...
Karthik: ennadhu?
Raji: ippo thaane kannaadi la parthu sonne... innum 4 hours thaan... 6
mani kellaam call panren nu sonne... call pannu pesaren...
Karthik: ippo pesinaa enna?
Raji: nee un program padi ye nadanthukko...
Karthik: puriyalai...
Raji: nee edhu eppo pannalaam nu decide panni irukkiyo adhai
appadiye follow pannu... enakkaaga edhaiyum maathanum ngra
avasiyam illai...OK...
She moves towards the door. Karthik keeps the coffee aside, holds her hand, draws her towards him and asks..."innum kovamaa irukkiyaa Raji?"
Raji stares at him comes still closer, kisses on his cheek and says "I
LOVE YOU Karthik... ennaala unnai paarkaama irukka mudiyalai...
adhaan nee vandhadhum parkanum nu vandhen... nee eppo en kitta
pesanum nu nenachiyo appove pesu... naan vandhadhnaale pesanum nu kattaayam illai... idhu vera ... adhu vera...OK?"
Karthik couldn't reply. He could say only..."Rajiii..."
She takes her hands off him and goes downstairs. Karthik takes a deep breath and thinks.."madam .. semma kovathula irukkaanga pola... setha daa nee...".He finishes the coffee and comes downstairs.

Karthik comes to the living room and sees Lakshmi, Raji and Vishnu
working on their laptops. He comes and sits beside Raji and...
Karthik: enna panreenga ellaarum?
Lakshmi: oru 5 mins kudu Karthik...solren...
Karthik: Ok...
Karthik tries to talk to Raji but she doesn't respond.
Lakshmi finishes her work and says..."sollu Karthik..."
Karthik: neenga thaan sollanum...
Lakshmi: German client namakku project Ok pannittu... Wallmart ku
Thanks mail anuppi irukkaanga... Wallmart innum rendu reference
anuppi irunthaanga... so rendu client um model kettirukkaanga...
naalaikku evening submit pannanum... adhaan...
Karthik: Oh... great news Lakshmi... naan edhuvum help pannavaa?
Lakshmi: ippo edhuvum thevai illai... Kaalaile Office pona udane
kandippaaa pannanum...
Karthik: sure...
Lakshmi: unnoda trip eppadi irundhadhu?
Karthik: OK... unga ellaaraiyum bayangaramaa miss pannen...
Vishnu: dei... chummaa vidaadhe...
Lakshmi: adhaane... miss pannadhu ellaaraiyumaa illa Rajiya

Karthik: en Lakshmi?
Lakshmi: sari... unnoda trip pathi sollu...

Karthik tells them briefly from boarding the flight to landing in berlin,
sightseeing, presentation, cruise trip, visiting Philip's home and then
returning back...
Lakshmi and Vishnu listen interestingly looking at him. Raji also listens but keeps working cotinuously and doesn't look at Karthik even once. all three of them observe this.
Vishnu: dei... machaan... shopping panniyaa illaiyaa? enakku enna
vaangittu vandhe?
Karthik: shopping pathi ellaam yosikkalai daa... aanaalum Philip
koottittu ponaan ... enna vaangaradhu nne theriyalai daa... sari nnu
perfume um chocolate um vaanginen avvalavu thaan...
He takes the bag and takes out the perfumes and chocolates and gives to them.
Karthik: Lakshmi... idhu ungalukku... dei ... idhu unakku ...
Both Lakshmi and Vishnu take that he gives. He turns towards Raji and calls her..."Raji..."
Raji looks at him and he gives her chocolates. She takes them and
says "Thank you..."
karthik takes two packets and..
Karthik: Raji... Lakshmi...
Both of them look at him... He gives them each packet and...
Karthik: idhu unga rendu perukkum... anga enna vaangaradhunne
theriyalai... perfume, chocolates vaangittu varumbodhu... oru Shop la
display panni irundhaanga... partha udane... unga nyaabagam
vandhadhu... vaangitten... dhayaivu seidu rendu perume thappaa
ninaikkatheenga...
Lakshmi: enna Karthik idhu?
Karthik: "DIRNDL" nu solluvaanga... German Traditional dress...
Both of them open the packets and the dresses were awesome...

Raji: romba nallaa irukku Karthik...
Lakshmi: aamaa Karthik... romba azhagaa irukku...
Karthik: idhu ivangalukku nnu particular aa vaangalai... avanga
kaatinadhula different aah thoninadhai vaangitten... yaarukku edhu

Raji: azhagaa irukku...
Lakshmi: Raji... ippo aavadhu solriyaa?
Raji: enna?
Vishnu: sollunga Raji... Ponnu parka vandhavanga enna sonnanga nnu sollaliye? Karthik vandhadhum solren nu sonneenga...
Lakshmi: moonu naalaa tension ... adhaan Karthik vandhuttaan ille...
enna nadanthadhu nnu sollu Raji...
Raji: sambantha pattavanukku erumbu kadicha maathiri kooda illai...
neenga rendu perum en tension aagareenga?
Raji gets up angrily and goes from there. all three of them keep calling... Raji,,,Raji... but she doesn't turn and goes from there.

Vishnu: enna daa? Raji kitta idhu pathi innum pesalaiyaa?
Karthik: illa daa... aarambichaa... kaalaile pesalaam nu sollittaa...
Lakshmi: nee anga irukkumbodhe kekkaliyaa Karthik?
Karthik: ketten Lakshmi, ava sollalai... phone la pesara vishayam illai... ner la pesalaam nu sollittaa...
Lakshmi: pch... en ippadi panraa iva?
Karthik: enna daa? ivvalo kovamaa irukkaa? unga kittayum edhuvum
pesalaiyaa?
Vishnu: illa daa... Raji... romba tension la irukkara maathiri
theriyudhu... office la idhu pathi pesa time illa daa... rendu naalaa Sir
cabin laye irukkaanga...
Lakshmi: poyi pesu Karthik...
karthik: pesa maatten nu adam pidikkaraale Lakshmi...
Vishnu: adhukku? appadiye vittuduviyaa?
Karthik: paaru... ippavum poyittaa...
Lakshmi: ava terrace ku dhaan poyirukka...
Karthik: naan thoonga poyitta nnu nenachen... sari ... naan pesi parkaren...
Vishnu: all the best machaan...
Karthik smiles and climbs the staircase.

IN THE TERRACE:

Karthik comes to the terrace and looks for Raji... Raji was sitting in
their favourite place holding the dress given by him. He stands still and watches her. Raji is lost in her thoughts, she doesn't notice Karthik's arrival. She slowly embraces the dress in her hand, smiles and kisses it. Karthik smiles and comes near her and says.." ivvalo aasai ya manasula vachikittu edhukku kova padanum?"
Raji gives him a blank look and turns aside.. He sits beside her and
holds her hand. She is still quiet.
Karthik: ennai paaru Raji...
Raji turns and looks at him seriously.
Karthik: enna moraikkire?
Raji: illennaa... nee pannadhukku moraikkama konjuvaangalaa?
Karthik: i have no objection...
Raji: adi vaanga pore nee...
Karthik: Raji...
Raji: enna venum unakku?
Karthik: nee thaan...
Raji keeps quiet.

Karthik: Rajii... naan pesaama ponadhu thappu dhaan... adhukku thaan athanai sorry sonnene? innum sollanumaa? Sorry daa... Please...
Raji: nee pesaama ponappo kooda enakku kashtamaa illai Karthik...
aanaa oru mail anuppine paaru... andha kadhaiya nenachaa thaan
ippavum kaduppaaguthu...
Karthik: naan onnum kadhai ezhudhale ... enakku enna thonucho adhai thaan ezhudhinen...
Raji: enna nenachittu irukka un manasula?

Karthik: time illaiye Raji..evvalavu sudden aah ellam nadandhiduchi...

Raji: adhukku thaan naan onnum sollalaiye... nee avasaramaa
kilambare ... unnai tension padutha venaa nnu pesaame irunthen...
aanaa nee? Po Karthik... unnaala kandavanukkum paninju poga vendi irukku...

Karthik: ennaachu daa? en ippadi tension aagare?
Raji keeps quiet.
Karthik: sari... enna nadandhuchi nnu sollu Raji...
Raji: naan solla maatten... therinjikittu nee enna panna pore?
Karthik: naan panradhu irukkattum... ippo nee ozhungaa sollu... modhalla antha tension thookki dhoora podu...
Raji: enakku tension aanaa eppadi koraikkaradhu nnu theriyaadhu...
thoongi ezhundhaa sariyaa poyidum nu ninaikkiren... naan varen...

Raji gets up and starts to go. Karthik also gets up, reaches her and
hugs her from behind.
Raji: vidu Karthik... please...
Karthik:(whispers in her ears) unnoda tension eppadi koraikkiradhunnu enakku theriyum...
Raji: onnum vennaa... ennai vidu...
Karthik kisses on her cheek and says "I LOVE YOU.."
Raji keeps quiet and doesn't react...
Karthik hugs her still closer and kisses her earlobe, then her neck and
Raji tries to free herself but in vain...
Karthik turns her towards him, holds her firmly in his arms and Raji
looks at him seriously.
Karthik: I PROMISE... antha nila saatchiyaa ini entha oru kaaranathai
kondum, oru ikkataana situation la unnai thaniyaa vittuttu pogamaatten... en uyire ponaalum...
Raji closes his mouth with her palm. Karthik kisses her palm and she
pulls it back.
Karthik holds her still closer and says..." I LOVE YOU Rajii... intha
ulagathula unnai thavira vera edhuvum enakku mukkiyam illai..."
Raji: enakku theriyum... I LOVE YOU TOO...
Karthik: sonnaa pathaadhu... seyal la kaattu...
Raji moves closer to him and kisses him. Having convinced her, Karthik is on cloud nine and expresses his happiness by kissing her lips intensely.
