Recap -

She could not believe that Ruqaiya stooped to such low level so as to kill Jodha.. She leaped towards Ruqaiya and raised her hand to slap her, when Jalal asked her to stop..

"Nahi Ammi-jaan.. Is gustakh ko haath mat lagaiye.." he roared.. his voice made Ruqaiya shiver with fear.. "Aap..aap sirf Jodha ka khayal rakhiye"...his voice being teary.

Jalal had had enough of this woman.. Once she had tried to defame Jodha by putting allegations on her..but today she had crossed all his limits.. He didn't even want to ask anything to her..
for She deserved nothing..not even his hatred..

He threw his Shamsheer and the dagger on the ground.. He clutched Ruqaiya's one hand, and slapped her tight on her cheek.. Ruqaiya would have been pushed far away with this slap,
but Jalal's grip on her hand was strong enough to lt her stand straight..

The sound of slap was the loudest ever, anyone had heard.. A big silence followed the slap.. Ruqaiya's eyes were downcasted and Jalal frowned at her..

He pulled out of the room and pushed her with all his might.. Ruqaiya stumbled and fell on the ground, outside the room..
Jalal came outside and asked Hameeda to close the door..and take care of jodha..

"Today, this wicked Ruqaiya needed her treatment " he determined..!!

Part 47 -

He looked at Ruqaiya with frowning red eyes.. Today she had crossed her limits.. She had done something which was, forget unforgivable, a heinous crime. She had broken his trust..his friendship.

Many people had also gathered outside the room and they were shocked to witness their Shahenshah slapping one of his chief queens..They knew something serious had happened but they were
unable to comprehend so as to what happened..did something wrong happen with their Mallika-e-Hind..they had heard a loud roar some moments back..
They themselves were scared after seeing Jalal's boiling anger.. His eyes were so red and his temperature could literally be seen rising..

Hoshiyar stood behind the crowd, all shivering and trembling with fear.. He knew their game was over and that, Ruqaiya won't be spared..

Ruqaiya was still lying on ground..Her elbow was hurt due to the sharp fall and she looked here and there..everyone was staring at her.. She looked at Jalal..She was terrified to see his red boiling anger..

She tried to get up..so that she can reach to Jalal and ask him to solve the matter in privacy.. She went upto him with teary eyes..and was about to say something,
when another SLAP came on her face..

Jalal slapped her tightly.. Ruqaiya again fell on ground with a thud.. Everyone stood shocked and stunned after witnessing this. Salima Begum, who was also present there, was surprised and shocked as well.

Jalal was losing his temper at a very quick pace. He just could not believe what he had heard from this so-called Begum of his some moments back..His head was throbbing with the scene he had witnessed..
How dare She touch my love..How dare she attack her.. How dare she call our child a paap.. How dare She push Jodha from the stairs.. How dare she at all try to harm my wife and my child..

He again clenched his fist with roaring anger and his nails dug his own palm.. He wanted to slash this criminal without wasting anymore moment...
He didn't want to give any chance to Ruqaiya for any explaination..He very well knew by now, that she had been planning deeply against Jodha all the while, all because of her jealousy..
But She had gone to such levels..where anyone would get embarrased... He decided to kill her this very moment..
SHe had gone all psychic and nuts and her life shouldn't spared...

His hand searched for his shamsheer..but alas, it wasn't with him. He had thrown it on the floor of the room..

His teary red hot eyes searched for a weapon and immediately he caught view of the sword in the guard's hand.. He rushed to him and took the Shamsheer with great force..

He looked out of control.. His breath was high and his body language was that of an angry husband at this moment..

He ran to Ruqaiya and without wasting any moment, raised his shamsheer to cut her head..Everybody including Ruqaiya was shit scared to see this... Ruqaiya's mouth couldnt utter any word out of fear..

BUT..

As his Shamsheer was about to behead Ruqaiya.. Salima Begum came in between and stopped him by holding his hand.. She herself was teary.. She knew something very serious had happened..
But killing one's own wife is not the solution.. Even at this point of time..Her wisdom was active...

Jalal roared on Salima... He gently pushed her back and roared - Nahi Salima Begum..Beech mei mat aaiye.. Aaj is gustakh ko saza milkar hi rahegi.. aur is jaisi badzaat ko saza-e-maut hi milni chahiye..

Everybody's jaws dropped after hearing these words... They looked at Jalal with questioning eyes.. How could he call his own wife Gustaakh and Badzaat.. But they couldn't raise their voice..as Jalal
was very angry at this moment..and he was out of control..

Ruqaiya immediately got up and ran to Salima.. She hugged Salima Begum and said in a teary voice - Humein Bacha lijiye Salima begum.. Jalal ko koi galat fehmi hui hai..aur vo humari jaan ke piche pade hain..

Salima immediately pushed back Ruqaiya while giving a digusting look at her.. Salima was sure that her husband would not lie for anything..and therefore..if he was about to kill Ruqaiya..She must have done some crime..

Jalal pulled Ruqaiya and again pushed her on ground.. He was about to behead her again... but Salima Begum stopped him..

She said pleading to him - Shahenshah.. Hum jaante hain ki baat behad gambhir hai .. Aur aapki haalat se aisa lag raha hai jaise Jodha Begum ko zarur kuch hua hai.. Lekin Shahenshah..is waqt
gusse mei aakar koi galat kadam mat uthaiye.. Humari bas itni si ilteja hai..ki agar Ruqaiya Begum in sab ke peeche ki gunahgaar hain..phir bhi inhe saza-e-maut mat dijiye..
Agar aap chahein to inhe kaid karwa dijiye...lekin apni hi Begum ko katl karna ek Shauhar..aur ek Shahenshah ko shobha nahi deta..
Aur Kripya humein shaant hokar ye bataiye ki muamla kya hai..hum sab yahan par yahi jaan na chahte hain..ki aakhir aisi kya baat hui jo aap itne gusse mei hain..
Aur Jodha Begum..(her voice went fearful..and concerned) Aur Jodha Begum aur aap dono ka bacha thik to haina..

Jalal was beyond angry.. But Salima's words kind of worked upon him... As soon as he heard Jodha's and his child's name.. He came back to his senses... He threw the Shamsheer again and ordered guards to
arrest Ruqaiya and put her behind the bars immediately..

He fumbled back by recalling Jodha's condition.. He turned to enter his room but before he entered..he roared on guards - Is badzaat ko tab tak salaakhon ke piche rakho, jab tak humara agla hukm nahi aata..
Is naamurad ne aap sab Ki Mallika pe jaanleva hamla karne ki koshish ki..aur ..(his voice getting teary and angry at the same time).. aur humare bache ko bhi najaane kya kya kaha.. Isse abhi isi waqt
kaid kiya jaaye..

Everybody was shocked to listen this.. they looked at Ruqaiya with frowning eyes.. They couldn't believe that Ruqaiya Begum could stoop so low.. Salima Begum was stunned as well..

Salima - Shahenshah.. Humein nahi pata tha ki inhone itni giri hui harqat ki hai.. lekin phir bhi hum yahi kahenge.. ki jab tak Jodha Begum thik nahi ho jaatin, tab tak gusse mei koi galat faisla mat lijiye..

Guards arrested Ruqaiya and took her to prison..

Jalal ordered everyone to dismiss..and pray for his wife and child.. He knew Jodha was not well..He then turned to Salima and thanked her, but he was still very angry..

Everybody prayed for their Mallika and slowly left from there..But Salima waited there.. She wanted to see Jodha Begum..She loved her like her sister..

Jalal entered the room and found it so difficult to even look at his beloved's condition.. He finally raised his eyes to see her..and there she laid on the bed.. all unconscious..

Her hand had been wrapped with the medicinal cloth..and yet, the blood spots were noticeable on her hand.. Tears rolled his eyes as he witnessed her..

He could see Hameeda beside Jodha..and Hakims trying to cure Jodha.. But yet, he was so fearful seeing her condition..

He went to Her bedside and asked the Hakims.. - Jodha Begum ki haalat ab kaisi hai...bataiye humein.. vo thik to haina.. aur ..aur humara bacha thik hai na..

He was panicking badly.. Hameeda tried to console him..but in vain..

One of the Hakim Sahibas said - Huzoor... Mallika thik to hain..par .. In ke haath par jo zakhm hai..vo kisi zehrili cheez se hua hai.. isliye inke haath mei zeher fail gaya hai.. haan humnein zeher ko baaki
sharir mei failne se rok liya hai.. lekin ab bhi inki haalat nazuk hai.. aur ..huzoor.. aapka bacha bilkul thik hai.. humnein Mallika ko sabse behatareen dawai de di hai.. Allah tala ki meher se ye jald thik ho jayengi..
par inka pura dhyan rakhna hoga..

Jalal was shocked to listen to the poisonous thingy.. He had hardly gulped it down that Ruqaiya had attacked Jodha..but getting to know that the weapon was poisonous as well..only added to his boiling anger..

He pleaded to Hakims - Aap ko jo chahiye..wo aapko mil jayega.. lekin..humari Jodha ko kuch bhi karke thik kijiye..

He broke down near Jodha.. He held her hand in his and softly kissed on it.. Hameeda consoled Jalal..

Hameeda - Jalal.. Shaant ho jaiye.. Jodha Begum bilkul thik ho jayengi.. agar aap hi is tarah se tut jayenge..to hum sabka kya hoga..

She caressed his forehead..and finally, after ten to fifteen minutes..Jalal was okay..

Hakims left the room after saying that Jodha Begum will gain her conscious till morning..

Jalal and Hameeda both thanked them..and as Hakims left, Salima Begum entered...

She ran to Jodha and was stunned to see her like this.. Jodha looked so pale... Her tears came out.. She sat beside Hameeda and asked about Jodha's condition..

Hameeda told her about Jodha's state and asked her to pray for Jodha..

Now Hameeda turned to Jalal and asked for an apology..Jodha was in danger because of her.. Her eyes became moist because she was unable to protect her daughter..

Jalal held Hameeda's hands and said - Nahi Ammi Jaan..isme aapki koi galti nahi hai.. Galti humari hai..ki Humnein us badzaat ko Jodha ke kareeb aane diya..Galti humari hai ki humnein uspar vishwaas kiya..
humei to andaaza hi nahi tha ke vo aurat itna neeche gir sakti hai..jisse humnei apna dost maana..usne hi humari peeth mei chura ghopa.. Sach maniye..agar Jodha ko kuch ho jaata to hum us aurat ka wahi ke wahi
sar kalam kar dete.. aur vaise bhi.. usne jo gunah kiya hai..uske liye saza-e-maut hi milegi.. aaj nahi..to kal hi sahi.. !!

Both Hameeda and Salima were very tensed..But they didn't utter any word at this moment.. Now Hameeda tried to change the topic..

Hameeda said - Shukra hai Allah ka..ke aap sahi waqt par pahuch gaye Jalal.. lekin ye bataiye.. aapka kaam to 1-2 din ka tha na..to aap jaldi kaise aa gaye..

With this, Jalal gave a lost smile..his mouth blabbering out the truth - Kyonki humnein subah Jodha se waada kiya tha..ki hum jald se jald ayenge.. kyonki vo humara intezaar kar rahi thin..aur hum nahi
chahte the ke humari Jodha ko koi takleef ho...isliye humnein apna kaam jaldi khatam kiya.. aur aa gaye..

Hameeda smiled at the love her son had for Jodha.. SHe further asked - Lekin Jalal..tum Shahenshah ho.. Tumhe khud bahar jaane ki kya zarurat thi.. sab tumhare saamne sir jhukaate hain..
ek hukm de dete..tumhaara kaam ho jata..

Jalal - nahi Ammi jaan..kuch din pehle humein Atgah Sahab ne bataya tha..ki humari hi sultanate mei teerth-kar wasoola jaa raha hai.. agar ibadat karne wala musalmaan nahi hai..to usse fizool
ka kar liya jaata hai..isliye aaj hum khud wahi dekhne gaye the.. aur ye dekhkar dang reh gaye..ki waqai humare hi aadmi teerth-yaatriyon se kar le rahe the..
Isliye..Humnein faisla kiya hai ki jald hi hum is baat par koi kada kadam uthayenge.. Aur jaise hi humara kaam khatam hua..hum wapas aa gaye..

Hameeda smiled at this changing Jalal.. not only he had got his love..and his child..but also, he was changing in the political and social arena.. She kissed on his forehead..

She asked Jalal to rest while she and Salima would leave.. They'll be outside..for if he required any help.. they would be present.. Jalal agreed to his mother..

Hameeda and Salima left the room...leaving Jalal and Jodha alone..

Okay ! Well guys! You must be thinking that the last part of chap is inspired from the current track..then answer is NO..Not at all.. !!😊😊 I had this plan from last month itself.. Where in Jalal would be on the way to become Akbar.. So I hope you like the chapter,.. And yeah..please forgive the bad Urdu that I m writing.. I am still learning the language..😛😛

And this one is for Aanchal..who is not talking to me because I delayed this chap so long😆😆😛.. Love you babes.. ab to baat karlo..!!!😳😳😃
