Heyya, here's the next installment. The updates would be a bit slow as I'm heck busy.
Part 29:
They reached the restaurant. It was one of the finest restaurant's in the town. After making themselves comfortable, they ordered their food. While waiting for their Sharon spoke.
"Di, jiju I'm going to ask you guys a question, reply honestly."
"Okay." Both of them replied.
"What opinion did you form about each other when you guys first saw each other?" Sharon questioned.
This question of hers definitely startled them. They were unsure whether to answer it or not as the answers they had might ruin their friendship.
"Di you start first."
"Uh...I...I felt Rey was a...ummm...u know a stern and hard nut to crack types." Kriya replied bitting her lower lip whilst Rey had an expressionless face.
"Interesting...what about you jiju?"
"Errr...the way Kriya spoke to her parents that day, I thought she's a woman with lots of attitude and rudeness." He too replied biting his lower lip whilst Kriya looked down. Their first impression about each other was highly incorrect and negetive.
"Ahaan...So both you felt alike about eachother. But there's a good thing hidden in this which you guys have failed to recognize."
"Sharon how can this be a good thing?" Kriya questioned.
"Of course it is di. The first impression that you guys made about each other clearly states that both of yours thinking procedures are similar. In short you guys share almost the same thoughts which is a strong indication of something new to begin."
This statement of Sharon puzzled them alot. Seeing them stress their minds, Sharon said "Di, jiju stop stressing and enjoy your meal."
Sharon purposely spoke these things. She wanted them to think about their relation. Their relation can develop into a lot more than something termed friendship. She was curious to know whether Kriya still reminiscences Rajeev or not.

It was past ten in the night. It was surely a hectic day for Rey, Kriya, Sharon and Kaira. On Kaira's insistance they heeded to the amusement park after lunch. Spending the rest of the day there, they returned home late in the evening. Kriya was in Kaira's room, putting her to bed. Sharon was walking in the corridor when Rey caught her attention. She quietly stood at the entrance and observed his actions. He was standing in front of Payal's photo and talking to it. She couldn't hear what he was speaking. But the smile on his face explained her clearly that Payal still holds a special place in his life. She secretly left the place before she could get caught.
After a while Kriya entered the guest room where Sharon was present. "I was waiting for you di." Sharon said.
"Why?"
"It's been many days since I haven't slept in your lap." Sharon said in a kiddish manner. Smiling at her little sister, Kriya sat on the bed. As she did that Sharon placed her head in her lap and Kriya began stroking her hairs.
"Di can I ask you something?"
"Of course you can. You don't have to take permission for that."
"Di, do you still miss Rajeev jiju?"
Kriya stayed quite for a moment. After a minute she replied "obviously I do."
"But I don't think so."
"Why?"
"You don't miss him like you did before. Jab bhi mein aapse puchti di do you miss Rajeev jiju, tab aap quickly reply karte that you miss him. But now...you...took a moment to answer, which means that you don't miss him like you did previously."
Already Kriya was confused and now Sharon made her even more confused. "Di, I didn't mean to stress you. I just want you to think about your and jiju's relation. I've seen jiju missing Payal strongly but at the same time he has started to feel something for you. But this is not the case with you. But your feelings for Rey jiju have empowered your feelings for Rajeev jiju."
"It...It's getting late. Good night." Kriya kissed Sharon's forehead and left.
All through her way back to her room, her mind contemplated on all that Sharon said. She didn't realize when she entered the room. She was about to hit a wall and on correct time Rey pulled her back. He had just stepped out of washroom and saw Kriya going to hit a wall. His touch brought her back to her senses. Her body shivered with the proximity they were sharing. Water was slightly dripping from his hairs and traced a path down his chistled bare torso. She found it difficult to divert her eyes.
"I know I look sexy like this and it is not bad to stare at your husband. But right now I'm very tired. So can we do it tomorrow?" He said mischeviously.
She pulled back herself looking down, feeling embaressed. "By the way what were you thinking about so deeply that you didn't even notice the wall?"
"Uh...umm...nothing. I'm just a bit tired."
"Well in that case I think you need some sleep." Saying this he picked her up and placed her on the bed. It felt heavenly to be in his arms. As he placed her on the bed, their lips were inches apart. They stared deep into each other's eyes. Rey broke the eye lock and kissed her on the cheek. He wanted to kiss her on the cheek but the kiss turned out be on the corner of her lips.
"Good night." He wished her as her cheeks turned crimson.
