RECAP : Rey meets Tanisha in the pub. A drunk Rey confesses his love for Tanisha and kisses her. Taani leaves from there leaving her mask behind. Someone gives Taani a surprise which she throws out of her window.
CHAPTER 7
SECRET REVEALED
Taani was not able to believe that her stalker had followed her to Mumbai but she had something more important to do - find her mask. So she drives back to the pub as fast as she could. She runs toward the corner where Rey had taken her and searches frantically for her mask. Suddenly she feels someone's hand on her shoulder and turns.
R : (drunk and unable to stand properly) TAN...(holding her mask) Isse dhund rahi ho ya mujhe?
T : REY ? (doesn't notice the mask)
R : (nods his head) HAAN MAIN... (leans close to her ears and speaks huskily) ... pata hai na ye masquerade party hai...
T : (too shocked to notice the closeness between them) Rey you are drunk !!!
R : Thooodddiii siii...
T : (thinks : Mask baad me dhund lungi. Pehle Rey ko ghar drop kar deti hu.) Rey hume ghar chalna chahiye. (holds Rey's hand and pulls him towards the pub's exit)
R : ...But Tan party to abhi hi start huyi hai... Mujhe nahi jana abhi...
T : (thinks : God!!! Jab Aap akal bant rahe the to Rey ko dena kaise bhul gaye? ) Kafi late ho gai hai Rey...
R : Tum...(looks at Taani with an innocent look on his face) Tum chalogi mere saath?
T : (sighs) Haan Rey... (before she could complete Rey holds her hand and moves towards his car)
R : (indiating towards the passenger seat) Main... Main tumhe... dro..drop kar dunga.
T : (holds Rey by his collar and speaks angrily) TUMHE SAMJH NAHI AATI? YOU ARE DRUNK !!! MATLAB TUM DRIVE NAHI KAR SAKTE SO GIVE ME THE KEYS!!!
R : (shakes his head in a NO) ...Pehle tum kissy do fir main keys dunga...
T : (staring at Rey angrily) ...REY KEYS!
R : ...Pehle kissy...
T : FINE ! (kisses him on his cheek)
R : (giving his million dollar smile) Ye lo keys... (and sits in the passenger seat)
In the car, on their way to Rey's house
R : (putting a lock of hair behind her ear) Pata hai tum na Taani jaisi dikhti ho...
T : (thinks : Bina mask ke jaisi hu waisi hi dikhungi na!) I don't know tum kiski baat kar rahe ho!
R : Hmmm... Taani na... Taani na meri best frnd ki sis hai. (starts laughing) Tumhari opposite hai...
T : (helping Rey get down from his car) What do you mean by opposite?
R : ... padhaku hai... Infact uska pehla aur akhiri pyaar books honge...
T : (stamps her foot on Rey's) JERK !
R : OUCH...
T : (giving a fake smile) Taani aisa karti hai ! (and pushes him on his bed and leaves from there.)
She hires a cab to the pub and then drives back to her home.

Next morning
At TaaYam's place, Swayam was holding a parcel which had come for Taani.
Sw : Taani... Taani tumhare liye kuch parcel aaya hai ! (He doesn't get any response.) Taani? (opens her bedroom door and finds her room empty) Itne subah subah kahan chali gayi hai? (gives her a call)
Sw : Pick up the call Taani...
T : (was practicing in the RH when she sees 'BHAI CALLING' and picks up the call) BHAI..
Sw : Kahan ho tum?
T : Wo.. Wo main Bhai... walk ...haan walk ke liye park aayi hu.
Sw : Please Taani... atleast mujhse to jhut mat bolo. ABHI GHAR AAO!!! (disconnects the call)
T : Walk wala excuse to fail ho gaya... Aaj to bhai ko sach batana hi padega... (and goes back to her house. As she enters, she finds an angry Swayam waiting for her) Bhai wo...
Sw : Tum mask kab se pehne lagi Taani?
T : (freezes on her spot) Ma...MASK? Kaisa mask?
Sw : (moving forward) Is tarah ka mask !!! (and shows her the open parcel. He had opened the parcel as he was being suspicious about Taani) ... Saath me note bhi hai tumhare liye...
T : NOTE??? (and snatches the parcel from Swayam's hand)
Sw : (reads the note aloud) " LAGTA HAI KAL KA SURPRISE ACHA NAHI LAGA. SHAYAD MASK HI PASAND AA JAYE. NEXT DANCE ME YE MASK ZARUR PEHENNA.". Care to explain?
T : Bhai wo...
Sw : (pissed off) WHAT TAANI???
T : (speaks in a single flow) Bhai mai hi Tanisha hu. Maine hi Rey ko face-off me haraya tha. Isliye shayad wo mask...
Sw : (eyes wide in shock) Tum Tanisha ho... Tanisha Mehra... So tum dancer ho... (glares at her) FIR HUMSE YEH BAAT CHUPAYI KYU?
T : Kyunki mai Rey se badla lena chahti hu...
Sw : Badla? Rey se? (realises) Isliye tumhe D3 gang se nafrat hai...
T : Bhai mujhe Gang se nahi sirf Rey se nafrat hai !
Sw : Lekin kyu?
T : (turns to look at Swayam and shouts) COZ REY NE HI DI AND JIJU KA ACCIDENT KIYA THA !!!
(falls down on her knees and starts sobbing)
Sw : (bends down and wipes her tears) Taani atleast mujhse to share ki hoti ye baat. Jab Asha aur Ritvik ka accident hua tha tab Rey humare saath video conference kar raha tha.
T : Bhai main wahin thi... maine khud dekha Rey ke car ko Di and Jiju se... (is not able to complete the sentence)
Sw : Taani Rey wahan tha but wo us dance academy ke principal se D3 team ke liye baat karne as well as apne frnd se milne gaya tha. Jab accident hua tha tab Rey ki car uske dost ka bhai le ke gaya tha. Rey meeting me tha Taani...
T : (looks at Swayam in surprise) Aap... aap sach bol rahe hai?
Sw : (hugs Taani) Haan Taani... Jao fresh ho jao... (thinks : Kal kya surprise mila tha baad me puchunga)
T : Ji... Ji bhai.. (goes into the bathroom and splashes water on her face and thinks about the past)
FLASHBACK
T : Di aap ko kaise pata chala tha ki Jiju hi aap ke Mr. Perfect hai?
Asha : Pata chal jata hai Tan...
Ritvik : (had just entered the greenroom) Jab tumhara life-partner tumhare samne hoga to tumhare liye jaise time ruk sa jayega. Tumhare stomach me butterflies jaise feel honge. Uske har touch me tumhe electricity feel hogi. But tumhe itna kyu janna hai?
T : (thinking about her brief encounter with Rey in the parking lot and blushes) Maine bhi ye sab feel kia...
Asha : My... my... look who's blushing ! Kaun hai wo jo meri behen ko itna blush kara raha hai?
T : Di... aap bhi na...
Ritvik : Aarey... Itna kya sharmana... ab bata bhi do...
T : Reyaansh... Reyaansh hai uska naam (blushes again)
AshVik : So finally Ms. Taani Shekhawat ko pyaar ho hi gaya...
FLASHBACK ENDS
T : (smiling) I am sorry Rey. Mujhe aab tak lagta tha ki tumne hi mere Di and Jiju ka accident kia hai. I am really sorry Rey ki maine tumhe itna pareshan kiya. Aaj main tumhe sari sachai bata dungi...

Here at Rey's place Rey gets up with a terrible headache due to the hangover. He tries to remember what had happened in the pub. He notices the mask lying on the floor. He picks it up but he only sees flashes where he was kissing Tanisha, Tanisha kissing him on his cheek and Tanisha driving him home.
R : Kuch to galat hai... Bina mask ke Tanisha bilkul uski tarah lagti hai... (holding his head) Yaar uska naam kya tha... wo...Swayam ki behen ki tarah... (He goes and washes his face when he remembers the moment he had said 'I THINK I LOVE YOU TAN') SHIT... yeh maine kya kar dia ? Pehli meet me hi 'I LOVE YOU' bol dia and kiss bhi kar dia... God knows wo mere baare me kya soch rahi hogi...College se lautate hi usse contact karunga. Abhi jaa ke Swayam aur sharon se baat karta hu. Maybe they can help...

Guy : Maine tumhare liya kya kya nahi kia Taani but tumne mere jagah us Reyaansh ko chose kia...
FLASHBACK
T : Hey Sean, hey Lissa.
Sean : Arey rose day pe Ms. Taani Shekhawat ke pass 1 bhi rose nahi... that's impossible...
Lissa : ... not until last year ki tarah usne is baar bhi waste bin ko flower vase jaisa use kia ho...
Sean : Ouch... Kaisi ladki ho tum? Kitno ke dil tod diye tune...
T : (rolls her eyes) Oh drama king... stop it now ! Waise bhi mai sirf apne Mr. Perfect se hi rose lungi.
Lissa : Tan I doubt tumhe kabhi pyaar hone bhi wala hai...
FLASHBACK STOPS
Guy : Tumne hamesha ki tarah mere roses fek diye... Not at all fair Taani... Maine tumhe jitne gifts bheje the NY me saare tum hamesha fek diye. Tumhare liye main hamesha dost hi tha but tum to meri zindagi ho... (frowns)... but tumhe us Reyaansh se pyaar ho gaya... tumne hamesha ki tarah mera dil tod diya but main tumhe Reyaansh ka hone kaise de sakta tha...
FLASHBACK CONTINUES
R : Ye lo car keys. But sambhal ke chalane bolna apne bhai ko.
Sid : Yep. Thanks for allowing him to drive your car.
R : Come on yaar... friendship me no thankyou and no sorry...
FLASHBACK ENDS
Guy : Rey ki car... aur tumhari family... BOOM. (laughs cruelly) Accident maine kia but tumne ilzaam Rey pe lagaya... (speaks through his teeth) KAAM MERA NAAM USKA...
PRECAP : D3 gang comes to know about Taani. TaaRey confession (without being drunk 😉)
