Chapter 11

The journey was silent, neither of them spoke a word, Zoya was too tired so she dozed off... They reached home... Asad got down and slowly opened her side of the door, not disturbing her.. he slowly scooped her up into his arms and walked inside...

Everybody in the hall were shocked at what they saw.. Asad Ahmed Khan carrying a girl.. Something very rare to witness... Dilshad walked upto Asad..

'Asad..'

'Shh... Ammi, wo so rahi hai... ill just come..' He said and walked upto her room and placed her on her bed covering her with the duvet... He looked at her pale skin... He caressed her cheek thanking the Almighty..

He walked to the hall... He glared at Najma and then Ayan.. They had nothing to say.. they just bent their heads.. they were extremely shameful...

'Asad, How is she.. i mean.. Is everything alright?' Dilshad asked worried...

'She's okay ammi, Bohot dari hui hai.. Give her something as soon as she wakes up... ill go freshen up... ' He said walked to wards his room and gave a final glare to Najma who stood on the way..

'Its all because of you... Now Bhaijaan is so angry...' Najma said looking at Ayan with tears..

'Dont you dare blame me... its your fault too... n the things you accused me off?? what about that?? Huh!!' he said...looking hurt... he was really hurt.. Najma could see that in his eyes..

'Ab please tum dono shuru mat ho jaana, come Ayan, lets go, You must get sleep, Bye dilshad, Good night...' She said walking close to Dilshad she whispered into her ears ' Think again about Zoya, and we witnessed how Asad got her.. ahem.. Okay '
Dilshad rolled her eyes and said goodbyes...

'Najma, come.. lets eat dinner... you haven't eaten anything...'
'No ammi, im not hungry.. im going to my room... Good night' she said without giving a chance to Dilshad to speak and she ran to her room...

Asad and Dilshad were seated on the dining table... Asad was sipping on his black coffee...

'Asad, are you sure, your not hungry?? Aaj kya hoga hai.. even Najma went to sleep without dinner...i heard Ayan also refused to have.. ' Asad looked at Dilshad and continued sipping his coffee... ' Asad, your the oldest, i know they were irresponsible, but this is not the way to handle things... im sure Zoya wouldn't like this.. '

Asad just got up from his seat..

'Asad. Are you listening' Dilshad asked getting up from the seat...

'Ji ammi.. ill order Dinner... wo... wo, Zoya' He said stammering..

'ill wake her up, Dont worry' she said walking upto Asad and kissed her forehead...


'Ayan is too hurt, I shouldn't have said such words... How will he ever be angry on me... Im like his elder sister, he cannot be angry on me.. ill go talk to him right away' Najma spoke to herself...
She loved Ayan as much as She loves Asad.. She was more than happy that Allah blessed her with two Siblings,.. She was extremely guilty...


'Najma.. kya hua.. ' Shireen asked shocked, to see Najma at her door step... after what happen, she thought Najma and Ayan would never come across each other atleast for sometime...

' hmmm.. Raha nahi gaya na.. Go, talk to him.. he went to bed without Dinner.. Im off to sleep..'

'Ji' She said walking towards Ayan's room and knocked on his door...
there was no response.. She knocked again.. there was no response, she banged hard... Finally he opened...

Ayan stared at her and tried closing the door again, Najma immediately put her hand in between... Ayan rolled his eyes and jumped on his bead covering his head...

Najma sighed ' Nautanki' She murmured... she sat next to him and tried pulling his blanket to look at his face, he pushed her hands away and covered his face again...

they kept doing it for awhile, Najma loved annoying him...
'Ayan.. please...' she said sadly almost crying...

Ayan shot up at her voice and sat looking at her with tears in his eyes...

'im sorry...' She said holding her ears...

'Am i really that bad Najma?? do i take advantage of women?? am i that bad??' he said almost chocking...

Najma cupped his face..' Ayan, i was hell annoyed, because Bhaijaan asked us to leave early and you just let us go by our self.. your such a careless brother, you let me travel alone, just because my friends wanted to spend some time in the farmhouse' She said annoyingly

'Im sorry, i know im careless.. it wont happen again...and that doesn't mean ill stay away from girls.. ' okay he said racking his hair, Najma rolled her eyes and smacked his head..

'You'll never change.. will you.. you ruined our sentimental conversation... '

'Ohweee!!!! come ill give you a huggie' he said and hugged her tight..
Asad was watching all this standing near the door, with a smile on his face..

'Ahem.. did you guys just forgot me!! Not fair' Asad said folding his arms..

'Bhaijaan' Najma screamed and ran towards Asad and hugged him and Ayan followed... all three embraced each other..

'This doesn't mean all is okay..'Asad said while Najma and Ayan just looked at him with eyes wide open...

'You guys need to apologize Zoya.. and next time, you three are not allowed to go anywhere...'

'Bhaijaan.. please'

'I meant, without me... next time ill accompany.. because, i cannot trust you guys...'

'Ahem.. so much concern for Zoya.. Kya baat hai Asad miyan' Ayan said teasingly while Najma giggled..

'Stop it you two.. She's staying at our house..and she's our responsibility, its not fair in our part... Come lets go home, I have ordered dinner' He said and walked away lost in thoughts...

'What was Ayan saying.. Ya Allah.. is it so obvious.. am i behaving different when it comes to Zoya... I need to stop this, I need to control my feelings.. I was just concerned for her. That's it.. Nothing more.. I think so... No. Nothing.. Its final..' He thought patting his chest...

Ayan pulled Najma...' hey.. Asad is definitely attracted to Zoya, i think its even a crush may be.. look..'

'Ayan.. will you please stop it.. lets go, Im hungry.. And by the way, i know Zoya well, she's not into all these and I know bhaijaan is acting all weird but i cannot think of anything because Zoya is my friend, i need to think about her to...'

'Uff.. you women, i tell you... I just hope Asad's heart doesn't break even before it fell into love' he said dramatically ...

'Zoya.. utho beta... you need to have your dinner...' Dilshad said patting her cheek...

Zoya woke up and hugged Dilshad... She patted her back soothing her...
'Relax Zoya.. your safe... ' she said kissing her forehead... Zoya's mind just wandered, Asad had kissed her too... was it just affection.. concern or just sympathy.. No, people wouldn't do it for sympathizing.. them what was it...

'Zoya, where have you lost.. come have dinner' Dilshad said pushing away the blankets...

'um..uh, woh, how did i come here, i mean i was sleeping on the way, ' Zoya asked, though she could guess it was Asad who got her here...

'Asad carried you to the room, you were sleeping.. Now don't think too much...okay' she said patting her head...

Asad received the food and placed it on the dining table, Just then Zoya walked towards the dining area, their eyes met, uncomfortable, they looked away...

Ayan and Najma came upto Zoya and apologized...

'Relax you too.. It was just a misunderstanding.. Chill..And by the way im safe and sound now.. all thanks to Mr Khan..' she said looking at him... He just smiled weakly and sat down...

'Okay children,.. its 2 AM, will you guys start eating... and thanks to the 24/7 Dining... If not i would have to cook...' Dilshad said laughing while all of them joined...

Asad and Zoya completely avoided looking into each others direction, it was so awkward for them.. How they hated each other and today, they felt solace in each others warmth.. one day.. so much had changed, it was too much for them to take in...


Everyone retired to their rooms right after dinner, Sleep was far away for both Asad and Zoya.. they kept rewinding the moments they just shared... they were so close yet so far... they had to break the ice.. this was the first step...

Asad sat on the bench, in the garden, sipping his coffee... He was tired, but he was not able to sleep, Zoya's thoughts disturbed him...
Zoya walked into the garden and spotted him sitting on the bench, She decided to thank him for what ever she did, she was happy inside to see his caring side...

she slowly sat next to him... not looking at him.. Asad did not acknowledge her presence...

'Mr Khan...' he looked at her...and back to the ground, not ready to face her..

'Thank you.. you saved my life today.. i mean, what you did.. im.. im really thankful to you'

'No need to say thanks.. i did that because of Najma and Ayan, i know they were irresponsible, it was their mistake, and being their elder brother, it was my duty to fix their mistake, and i did that... i dint want anyone to blame them, tomorrow if your family come over and blame my family, i wouldn't tolerate that... I just did what was right... and what ever happen, i mean.. uh.. i.. i was just consoling you.. don't jump into conclusions, like you always say, im a very dominating man.. that has int changed' He said all in a breath and walked away, leaving a shocked Zoya behind...

Zoya was in tears, she dint expect this from him... ' He's such a rude man... what does he mean by jumping into conclusions... i was genuinely thanking him... ' She said wiping her tears away..
' I will make sure i stay away from him... if that is what he wants.. ' she walked to her room and drifted into a slumber..

'Najma, Najma wake up..' Zoya said patting her, completely worried...

'what happen Zoya... ' Najma said sleepy..' Its just 10 AM, let me sleep'

'Najma.. its Sunday, and my add has been published, look' she said giving it to Najma..

'That is such a good thing Zoya.. why you look all worried.. Chill'

'Najma, my phone, i broke my phone, and i just left the broken pieces there, in the farmhouse, i dint even think of the sim, i was too scared Najma' Zoya said tearing..

'Zoya, relax... im sorry, this is all my fault'

'No Najma, please don't blame yourself.. its my bad luck, im cursed Najma.. that's it' she said and started sobbing... Najma consoled her...

Asad who was passing by, heard them, he felt bad looking at Zoya's state...

'Add, kya hosakta hai.. i should check the newspaper... i should help her'

Okay guys don't get dissapointed with this not soo long update... ill post the next chapter soon...

So najma felt bad what she said to ayaan n then made up to him...
In that situation also ayaan was joking... Haha he is mad boy
asad also wanted the hug n he played good card by telling them their r not forgiven...
Asya avoided each other... But were happy to see each other...
Lol asad talked so rudely to zoya... Here was thanking him genuinely n this man was did that talked rudely to her n hurt her...
Why cant asad accept his feelings for... Huh emotionally challenged
