After a day of Natasha's leaving Maan, the realization hit him - She has left him and gone. It was then he started missing her.

Geet was on other side eager to get her work done but then seeing him decided to give him space for some time.

It was one whole week since then, Maan started missing Natasha in everything. Her elegance, the way she would be by his side, the way she could cover up for him in parties when he could not make up, the way she would handle his hard work and yet her composure with him. Geet let him be with Natasha's memory as he immersed himself in work.

It was this time that Geet got time to interact with Dadima. They both started opening up. Dadima, slowly started knowing Geet. Geet was definitely a different person than Natasha. For her making comparison was very important and natural. Natasha was Maan's life and now Geet is his life. Sooner or later he have to accept it.

Natasha was composed and arranged person and socially beautifully complimented Maan while Geet was very much opposite. But what hit her best in Geet was her liveliness, spontaneous nature. While Natasha knew how to present herself in society Geet was a very natural girl. She was completely opposite change in Maan's life but Dadima could feel that Geet can bring complete different flavor in Maan's life and there will be variation which has been missing in this house and his life.

Natasha had wonderfully entered Maan's life and mingled in it but it has stayed as it is but with Geet things will be surprisingly different and somewhere the more Dadima spent time with Geet, her excitement as how Maan's life will change with Geet was increasing. But she have to make them work together, let it be fight but they need to be together.

So the other day,

"Dadima" "yes Beta" "Dadima yeh Maan, he has even forgot you" Geet wanted permission to interfere in Maan's aloofness from Dadima. She needed him now to get her work done.

For Dadima this was the best opportunity but less did she know that it was regarding Dev that Geet needed Maan. Though she had idea that Geet wanted revenge from DEV but she left it there.

"Bilkul sahi, but you have to do this work." "Sure Dadima" Geet had cunning smile in her heart.

Geet barged into Maan's study while he was busy with file "Maan" she declared

"yes" Maan did not look at her, he wanted no argument.

"Maan you are forgettiong, being a husband and a grandson you have responsibility towards two women in this house"

Uff her authorative talks which irritated him to core made him to give attention.

"Really? But let me tell you that I am not in need of PA at home to remind me of my responsibility."

"Your PA, my foot." What?? This girl always has way to show him that, he, The Maan Singh Khurana is a common man.

"Listen, you may leave now" But Geet brought a chair infront of him and sat on it

"No, I am not leaving. You have to leave this study and help me"

"ohh wow.. what a way of asking help. Let me remind you that needing help comes with word please"

"Being a husband, you have to help me."

"and what is your duty of being a wife, none."

"definitely not leaving you to be lost in your girlfriends dream is my duty."

Maan was irritated with her talks "what do you need from me."

"I need to reach to DEV, you have to help me in it."

"Do it yourself. I have more work to do than be involved in your revenge."

He left from there to Dadima's room, it will be some peace.

But Geet's re-entry in his life after a week got him out of memory of Natasha for that moment.

Geet did not like to bring him out of Natasha this way but it was irritating her, even she had pain but she did not shut up herself. And above, now that he had denied to help her, he have to help her.

Geet kept bugging Maan but they always ended up in fight. Geet was trying to cope up with new life but the way Maan would refer Natasha in many things somewhere pinched her, though she felt she had nothing to do with him but slowly she was somewhere getting affected.

On other side, her work was not being done and she was not knowing how to start, Visa - Passport, going to Canada, finding DEV, there was so many things, what should she do. She needed his guidance at least, she was so new to all this.

Geet one day went to Maan's office and obviously she was not being let beyond the reception. Even meeting him was not easy, what the hell he think he is.

"I am Geet, just let him know" But no one was listening "We can't call MSK this way."

But to her luck, Maan was in his office's transparent elevator and he saw her

"Ohh God, what the hell is she doing here" he immediately took the lift to ground floor.

"What is all this chaos here" he demanded and with his voice Geet turned to him "Maan" she shouted.

Maan realized that this girl can anytime tarnish his image so before she could do anything he placed his hand on her mouth and captured her by waist taking her to elevator

"Other's back to work, I want no fuss around here" he said in his authorative voice which Geet heard for the first time. Something went inside her heart with his voice and then his touches on her waist. She wanted to ignore the feeling but unwontedly her heart was pounding. He was affecting her and she was not liking it.

He left her in the lift and she felt empty but relieved.

"Who gave you right to hold me like that" "Who gave you right to create scene in my office"

"I was not creating scene" and so on and on both again went on. Lost in their fight aloof from whole world.

"What brings you here? " he demanded when they reached office.

"Ohh, I was so badly missing my hubby" she taunted and he kept looking at her

"I need your help regarding Dev" Maan did not answer but soon one of his staff came running

"Sir, the press is here" "Ok, ask them to wait. Now I have something important to address so be disciplined for few minutes."

Geet suddenly got the idea "OK, so now as press is there, I will let them know that Maan Singh Khurana got married and I am his wife."

"You are not telling anything in press, be seated here." "No, I will. Dare you order me."

Maan took a deep breath "Ok, please don't say it to press, please. It won't do you any good."

Geet did not realize the depth of his words "But it won't do any good to you too, I don't care about myself." "You are crazy" "I know and you can see my craziness. Only if you agree to promise to help me I won't go to press."

Geet held the door and opened it "Ok, I will help you in Dev's case."

Geet came inside "Promise" "When I give my word I give my word. Now be seated here quietly till I come back"

Geet obeyed, she was happy he agreed... ohh wow a small trick worked but then somewhere within it pained, why was it so important for him to hide the marriage.

But soon she shrugged off - who cares, why do she even cares if this marriage does not mean anything to him, it does not mean anything to her too and she will leave him after her work is done.

Maan came after an hour

"so you are back" "Yes I am, but I have never seen a fool like you." "I am not paying price of listening useless from you in return of your help, get it."

He was really pissed off. "listen I am not here for your lectures"

"But you need one" he shouted, making her breath come out of her lung, he was very serious.

"What do you think will be my lose if world knows I have married you, it's a reality and I have nothing to hide about it."

"Then why?? " "shut up... you want to get DEV and have you realized if he knows that you have married me, how nicely he can make plans to of his run away. Never revile your identity to your enemy before the right time comes."

Geets all long talks were gone as she was absorbing his word, OMG how could he think so far.

OK, Geet forgets that he is a most shrewd business man who runs multimillion businesses due to his sharp shrewd mind and she is just a nave girl of 18 yrs.

Somewhere very deep within there was a different kind of contentment - he never wanted to hide this marriage thing for himself but for her. Rest were his lectures that keeps happening between them.

"Are you done with your lecture. I am leaving now"

She was again holding handle of the door "and listen, figure out all the documents you need for your passport. I only help those who help themselves"

Geet left mimmiking "I only help those who help themselves. Akroo!!!"
