Dangerous Views: 4-FEB-2014 EBP

Was confused about what warning sign I should put today for my dangerous view. I should actually go for the danger sign but I'm not really pissed off today, may be because I am expecting what was shown today. So a confused danger/caution symbol today.😛

Did Waseem leave EBP and Arshad Khan tookover again? Or did the season 1 creative team join EBP? That was my first thought. There are so many romantic scenes today but there was no intensity that I usually expect from EBP.

Sojal makes Kavya her punching bag. Does a little kid deserve that? All of Sojal's hurt is valid but to take her frustrations/anger out on a little kid is where she is really going wrong. Sojal decides to starve little Kavya as punishment for helping Aastha. How is that going to make her life any better?

I have seen Shlok tap his plate for the first time in the breakfast scene. Aastha decides to not pay attention to him, may be because she is angry with his behaviour in the morning. We see her reflection on the dining table, the other face of Aastha. Everyone was shocked with Aastha's behavior, but Shlok didn't seem really pissed off. It appeared as if he was showing off his insolent bride to everyone. Anjali signals Sojal and she serves Shlok. Niranjan was not seen at the breakfast table. Could there be any significance to this scene?

Anjali goes ahead with her maaghi ganpati puja. She makes Aastha clean the house instead of going to the office. New boss, Aastha orders pati to postpone the meeting. Shlok, as usual, to put Aastha in a tight spot, invites the team home. Aastha, as usual, impresses the team with her sweet/smart behavior and manages the situation efficiently. I'm not complaining about such scenes now. We won't see even Shlok going to office from now on. I understand why the CVs are doing this. They don't have the office building anymore. Tight budget, I guess. I expect Aastha to be a servant/boss and get an upperhand on Shlok by being whatever she is. I'm actually happy that she at least went through the papers before signing. Thats growth... I suppose. But for me, this is definitely not women empowerment, like they promoted in the beginning of the show. In Sanskrit, this is called bull's dung( I cannot use the 's' word). I'm expecting bull's dung from now on, so I'm not angry like I was on wednesday.

Now finally the romantic scenes. Pearl scene was good, though the first part of lying down on the bed was repetitive again. May be its just me, but I didn't feel the magic in that scene. May be it was a symbolic scene, I don't know. Fairy tale scene with Kavya was adopted from season 1. It didn't look fresh for me, but it was alright.

precap looked good. Aastha is so pretty in that saree. But... I think we will see a copy of haldi scene from season 1. Lets see if it turns out good.

Did the story move further today? NO. Shrenu looked really pretty in pink. Pearl scene was okay. Kavya is getting better everyday. She is saying her dialogues pretty well now. Thumbs up for Kavya. Everybody gave right expressions for whatever scenes they were given. So, I guess, I will generously say that its a good episode.
