Epilogue

Maan looked at Geet who was running behind Dhruv, Dev and Meera's son. She laughed as she caught him and twirled around. He could see his mom and dadi along with Meera smiling seeing her. Dev and his dad were playing chess as usual, their favorite pass time, occasionally glancing at Geet. Everyone was happy. He was able to bring her back to life; he could bring her smile back, but he couldn't still bring to forgive himself. She trusted him with all everything, with her life, but what he did. If he couldn't get her back, then... he doesn't want to even think of it. Nothing could be more painful than a life without her. She forgave him so easily. He couldn't comprehend the extent of her love; he knew that her love was something he doesn't deserve. Yet, he got it without inhibitions, her divine love. His thoughts were broken when she came and sat next to him panting. He immediately looked at her smiling, he knows that she will understand his thoughts if he won't do so. He could see that she was looking tired from past few days. He asked, "Geet, tum tik hona? You look tired." She looked up smiling but before she could speak something, her head started spinning and everything blanked out. Within minutes she was in hospital and everyone was waiting tensed outside the doctor's cabin.

The doctor came out and told, "Mr. Khurana, you can go inside. She wants to meet you." Maan rushed inside the very moment and was beside Geet who was lying down inside with a wide smile in her face. Maan asked her, "Geet, kya hua tumhe? Tum tik tho ho? Kya baat hain?" Before Maan could proceed further Geet closed his mouth with one hand and took his other hand in hers. She slowly placed his hand on her stomach and smiled. Maan who was silently observing her was overwhelmed with her gesture. He removed her hand and asked, "Geet.. Is it true? We are going to be parents?" She smiled with tears in her eyes. Maan couldn't have been happier. He kissed her forehead and told, "Thank you Geet. Thanks for everything. Thanks for making my life worth living with your presence." Geet smiled and shook her head. She told holding his hand close to her heart, "Maan, agar aap nahi hothe tho iss zindagi ka koi matlab nahi he. Tho aap mujhe thanks kyun keh rahe ho? I love you Maan." He bent down and kissed her forehead feeling overwhelmed with the emotions. He gazed lovingly at her face while caressing her hair. A knock in the door, broke their eye lock and others came inside knowing the good news from the doctor. Soon everyone was surrounding her sharing the happiness. She looked at Maan silently thanking him for giving her this happiness. She knew that it was always his love that made him do everything. She experienced every shade of love... beautiful, possessive, passionate and painful.. She experienced the most enduring side of their love.. The pain of love.. But the pain had eventually held them together in an unshakable bond of trust, a trust that will never fade away...
