He threw them away on table. "Someone was trying to implant doubt in her mind" Rey held his head with the conclusion. "That bloody first scroll came to her in my presence. She was tensed but I didn't pay heed." He was remorseful.

Rey caught a whiff of familiar scent. He smelled his hands, it was all over. Scrolls had this scent, familiar scent, reminding him of some nice times. He closed his eyes and exercised his mind.

"Elena!" He uttered. Everything was making sense. It is estee lauder. Elena wears that perfume.

"If you think his touch is only yours then you are wrong. If you think his scent is all yours to gasp then you are wrong. If you think his lips have ever touched your lips then you are wrong."

He re-read the scroll. It made perfect sense. Elena did have a motive to implant doubt in Kria's mind. Note beside bugatti after warehouse fiasco too conveyed something like this. "My love shall go unharmed" Elena! Only one name was echoing in his mind. He grabbed his wallet and scrolls. He rushed towards parking.

"Sharon too knows something about it" he was thinking throughout his way to parking. He decided to confront her first to get some concrete evidences against Elena. He could see things sorting out.

He knocked her door. Before she could say anything after opening the door, he attacked her with questions.

"I never mentioned Lindsey's. Did I Sharon??" he asked while holding her arm fiercely.

She stammered with fear, "Rey..! Lis..ten to me"

"No you listen to me. You were venomous to Kria. I knew it. Always was. But you could stoop that low. I didn't know" Rey confronted her.

"I didn't do anything. I am clueless what are you talking about." Sharon gave justification.

"Weren't you the one who mentioned Lindsey's a few minutes back?? And now you are clueless. How did you know that Kria went to Linsey's??, Rey asked.

Sharon was dumbstruck. She had nothing to defend herself. All she could do was shedding tears.

"Don't you dare sell me the salt water." He clutched her arm in anger.

"you are hurting me Rey!!" She repelled.

"Then tell me where she has kept Kria?? I swear its mere start." Rey said furiously

"She??" Sharon murmured.

She was quiet for seconds. Rey's eyes were enough to make her utter the truth.

"okay!" She gulped the anxiety and got rid of Rey's grip.

"I am sorry! I didn't know that it will get this serious. Yes! We were trying to ruin your relationship. I helped her with scrolls and giving updates on Kria but believe me! I didn't know that she can harm her." Sharon told while peaking into his eyes.

Rey banged her in closet and said, "so what was your plan then?? I am just ashamed that I considered you as friend. You didn't mean to hurt her! Huh??? She is missing God damn it." He asked furiously.

"No I am not! I am not ashamed. She just walked in my perfect world and ruined it all. You were mine. Almost mine, if she wasn't there. She deserves to rot in hell. " She said while bursting into tears.

Her eyes had this sick deranged expression. Rey was speechless. He couldn't utter a word.

Neha entered the room and said to him, "we have to leave Rey. I have something which can help us"

Rey was still staring at Sharon's face. She was looking almost stranger to him.

"Tell me where she is?" he asked Sharon.

"Please Sharon! Tell me where she is?" he begged.

"I won't! I will never tell you. I will make sure that you never reach her" Sharon vomited the venom.

"Leave her Rey! We need to go before it gets too late" Neha grabbed him from arm.

Rey could see fear clouding his mind. He was numb. "I won't ever reach her!" he murmured.

Every face in way looked like a nightmare. He wasn't walking. Neha was dragging him.

"What's wrong with you?" Neha scolded him.

"She uttered bullshit. Are you gonna take it all? Here Kria's life is on stake and her biggest hope is sinking." She said.

Wolves crying, weird noises, slight cold, darkness sounded so horror to Kria. She was walking on a road. Since hours, no vehicle crossed from this forgotten road.

"God and His priests and His kings

Turning faces

Even they feel the cold" she was humming the song.

When each second was enough to break her, she was just trying to be hopeful and strong.

"He won't give up. He never does." She thought.

"What you are given

Can't be forgotten

And never forsaken", in her breaking voice, she kept singing.

"You sure we will find that moron here??" Rey asked Neha while driving.

"I hope so. The agency is sure that he is hidden at this place." Neha answered.

Her eyes could see him gulping each second and trying to be positive.

"We will find her. I promise." Neha said to Rey.

He nodded his head quickly in agreement as if he was dying to hear it.

In a bar full of smoke and characters of criminal affairs, he searched for one face. Tucking his hands in pockets, he was just waiting to punch that one face. He entered a private chaber and saw few stern faces asking him to get out. He checked each private chamber.

"Go f**k yourself man! I put my entire earning of the day on it and you are asking me to leave" he heard a voice arguing over money.

He turned around and walked to that voice until he was in his hands. He punched him in abdomen and threw on floor.

"You bloody *****! What do you think? you will walk out of everything you did." Rey asked him while punching him.

"Listen to me Fella!" Kevon said.

"Yeah! I am here to listen! Start talking! Where did you take her after Lindsey's?????" Rey asked.

"I didn't take her anywhere. I was just helping her." Kevon hardly could utter as Rey had his head under his knee.

Still hunts hope ever and ever" trembling voice was giving up. Her black dress tore away from bottom while brushing with a bush. She sat down for moment. Kria couldn't feel tears coming out of her eyes. And silent cry turned louder. She vented out.

Her ears heard vehicle's voices entire day. They were mere delusions. Again she heard same noise, a car maybe, or truck; she didn't look up and hid her face in legs.

Vehicle's roar got louder and she saw her shadow on road from legs. There was light. She looked up. There was a truck. A man came out and asked, "lady! What are you doing on this remote road??"

It was real. She stood up and saw his face. A man in his 50s, she walked near him and asked, "Help me please! I don't know where I am. I am lost. I want to go back to Cape Town or anywhere near city." She was in tears.

"Calm down lady! I am not going to Cape Town. And how you landed so far from Cape Town?? You are miles away from the city. This is country side." He asked.

"I don't know. Someone kidnapped me and then...!"She was talking in her broken voice.

"Okay! Get in car! We have a long way! Tell me in car. This isn't safe out here. Come on in." man asked.

Kevon was bleeding hard. He didn't utter anything about Kria's location. "I am not loving it. I am not loving my hands covering in your blood. Tell me Kevon!" Rey asked him.

"I swear! I don't know." Kevon said before fainting.

Neha walked into man flooded bar out of worry and saw Kevon lying there.

"OMG! What happened here?" Neha asked while looking at Kevon.

"This bas**** didn't utter a word." Rey uttered while banging his hand on table.

"We gotta take him to hospital. Rey! We can't risk his life. He is our last hope." Neha pleaded.

"Not last hope! You take him and take my car." Rey said and left.
