Well Sallu has followed a pattern of good movies with shit movies since BB: Bajrangi was great, PRDP was terrible. Sultan was good, Tubelight was below average. TZH was good, Race 3 was atrocious.

kya faaltoo ka raag lagaya hua hai logon ne...100 cr in 3 days...even HNY with bad reviews, bad trailer...everything bad...made 100 cr in 3 days...42 crore opening(Taran's numbers cause BOI is shit)...and HNY came 4-5 years back...

and I agree if Sanju had clashed R3 would have made less than 100 cr...but that wouldn't have made Salman any less of a superstar...Salman is a legend...and it will take Ranbir years to do what Salman has done...if that is even possible...

so make fun of Race 3 all u want...it deserves it...but no need to mock Salman's stardom...They are almost 30 year old veterans of BW.

well HNY had a hit album, DP-SRK-FK combo which gave OSO and also did the largest promotional camp I ever saw for any movie in India with opening a whole show for its promotion, something called India Wala.



HNY did had positives with a hit album, a red hot Deepika and SRK pair, and a familiarity along with a fun trailer.

But Race3 has no redeeming quality.
Its trailer was terrible, songs were crap and WOM is worse than HNY, because HNY was at least funny intentionally or unintentionally Race3 is boring and crap.

And that is why 100crors weekend chants you keep hearing. It is all about Sallu's stardom for 100crores yes Eid helped but Eid didn't helped in a big manner as Eid happened on a partial holiday Saturday.

As has been posted so many times here on IF that SRK does not matter anymore and his days are over but still whenever a Salman movie flops or does poorly the immediate comparison is made with SRK movie? If Salman is given super status then falling will be harder and not softer.

All this shows that there is nothing like blockbuster status and NO hard core fan is going to pay for crap again and again. There will be a time when the most hard core fan will STOP. Salman better stop doing crappy movies or he will soon get blockbuster FLOP status.



Its time to stop paying undue adulation to stars and look for entertainment/ content.

I don't like this sumit guy. he was saying race 3 will be a blockbuster, guaranteed after seeing the trailer. now he is saying sanju bb, today he saying gold is a bb...maha bekaar handle hai iss kaa.
