Chapter 2

BEFORE YOU START READING THIS CHAPTER I WOULD REQUEST YOU TO CLOSE YOUR EYES FOR 10 SECONDS AND PRAY TO GOD FOR THE SOUL WHO COULDNOT MAKE IT AFTER HAVING A SEVIER ACCIDENT THREE DAYS BACK. AFTER FIGHTING HIS BATTLE BETWEEN DEATH AND LIFE FOR 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS FINALLY HE LOST. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE. HE WAS MARRIED FOR 8 MONTHS AND HIS WIFE IS 7 MONTHS PERGNANT WITH HIS KID. MAY GOD GIVE HER STRENGTH TO RECOVER FROM THE TRAUMA.

I have never communicated with Ankita but i know her from past 4 months she is a member of I-F and my friend's close friend.

Chapter 01

~ Pehchaan ~

"when will this boy become serious?", anjali wondered. Anjali Raizada Jha, the most beautiful woman one had ever come across. She was not only beautiful by looks but also posed the most beautiful heart. Being an ardent animal lover and ran an animal well-fare institution. Her husband was one of the top-investigating officer's based in London. Mr Shyam Jha, brother in law of Arnav and Akash was a handsome man of thirties. He loved his wife a lot. Anjali was apple of his eyes. If one had to give example of a perfect lovy dovy couple then they were the best example. During summers anjali visited India and stayed with her brothers for a month. That year her main agenda was to get Akash married and then she would have found a nice girl for her little brother Arnav and get him married.

Akash Singh Raizada, cousin of Arnav and Sibling of Anjali was a simple and sophisticated guy. He was in his late twenties, who loved his di (sister) Anajli more than himself. Arnav and Akash were more of besties than cousins. After the dismissal of Arnav's parents, his paternal uncle who was the youngest in the Raizada family took care of Arnav. And anrav never felt like he was from a different womb. The relationship between the Raizada's were the best one can ever thought of. Akash by profession was a software engineer. His dad being a veing open-minded person pressured Akash to pursue his family business. He rather always encouraged him to take up what he wanted do something in which Akash was interested. Akash did his Masters in Software engineering through a well known College and was posted in a very reputed firm in high rank.

"Di aaj maaf kardo please". (please forgive me di) Arnav held his ears and looked at anjali sheepishly. He came and hugged his Di while his Di was busy scolding her brother for being late. She knew Arnav was working hard now a days. Her father's business was on his young shoulders, but just like other sisters she expected him to be back on time. Her anger melted by her brother's warm touch.

Anjali pressed his cheeks and slapped him lightly, "go now and help Akash to get ready. We have to leave in an".

Akash was buttoning his kurta when Arnav entered the room. "woah!...wo..wo.woo! looks like someone is all set to kill the girl aren't we?" Arnav smirked and bit his lips while entering akash's room.

Akash sighed and showed his kurta helplessly not being able to fix it properly. Arnav who was leaning on the doorframe walked towards him and gave him a brotherly punch banging his fist on Akash's fist.

"dude, help me out. You know di na, she has insisted me to wear this funny kurta", akash exhaled in frustration. Being a modern guy akash never liked to wear Indian clothes. He was more comfortable in his western formals. Where as Arnav had an elite sense of dressing. He has an eye to chose the best dress not only according to the trend but also he knew perfectly what will suit on individual person. After all he handled his uncle's fashion house single handedly after he lost his life in cerebral stroke. It was anrav who took over after his Uncle Akhilsh Raizada. AR group of companies initially had to bear a lot of losses. But Slowly Arnav was able to get hold of it after paying full attention by working day and night over it. That's how he was introduced to one of the shareholder's of AR Group, Mr Shashi Gupta. He had been a father figure to Arnav who had helped him a lot in re-building the Raizada business.

Arnav came forwards and adjusted Akash's collar and set his kurta right. "you know akash, you are looking really handsome. For once I am impressed with Di's choice. This navy blue kurta with silver embroidery is looking elegant yet simple on you. It perfectly suits your personality. Waise, have you seen payel's picture which I sent to Di this morning?" Arnav made himself comfortable on the bed and crossed his feet.

"Nope! Did not get a chance. Tune to dekha hi hoga, I am sure she will be good. After all Arnav Singh Raizada has suggested her name", akash confidently punched his fist with Arnav.

"Yap she is dude. infact she will be perfect for you. Intelligent, elegant, yet a fun loving girl she is . Perfect for our family. I have met couple of times in the office and found her very nice. Akash. I hope you like her too. Waise Di ko to pasand hai" Arnav said checking his mails in his iphone. "Mr Gupta is like a family and he is a very humble person".

"Bhai, I will never doubt your choice dude", akash remarked happily feeling confident and content.

Just when Arnav was about to get up to change his clothes, his phone rang.

It was a call from an unknown number.

Arnav frowned at his phone not being able to recognize the number, which kept on blinking on his screen.

"Hello!" he greeted in a professional tone, yet warmly.

"its Miss Gupta this end" came the icy cold reply.

"oh hai payel!" Arnav smiled and greeted her in a casual tone this time.

"Its Khushi Kumari Gupta here Mr. Raizada", came the crisp no-nonsense reply from the other end.

The phone almost fell from arnav's hand hearing the name. Not because he was nervous but he never expected the khadoos lady with whom once he had a little fight over some papers that he was supposed to deliver at Mr. Gupta's office and his peon was late by 5 mins. Arnav knew Khushi by her name but he had never seen her in person. He was aware that she was the one who held the stakes of AR now after his father transferred it on her name. He only saw her signature on papers and mostly her employees spoke to his employees for any work related issue.

"Oh I am so sorry Khushi!" Arnav apologized in a serious tone.

"Kumari Gupta it is...I would prefer if you call me by my full name Mr Raizada..if not then atleast Miss Gupta.." came her sharp reply.

"she will never change, will she?" Arnav curse himself  mentally for being warm towards an impossible cold woman.

"Yes Miss gupta, how can I help you?" finally settling up and spoke out professionally.

"I want you meet you..now" she said crisply.

"Now? are you serious Khu... I mean Miss Gupta?" Arnav let out a confused tone frowing his deep set eyebrows.

"Yes Mr Raizada, its important".

"well, I am sure you are aware that my family is coming to meet your family in few hours, aren't you?", Arnav enquired.

"yes I am aware and I don't see that can be any excuse why we shouldnot meet. There are other people in the house who can attend this function", Khushi said in an emotionless tone.

"Weird" he though, making a face looking at the screen. "maybe not for you, but it is important for me to stay in this function as I am the one who gave this proposal and my family is involved.

"the proposal which I am going to make will be much more fruitful for my company and the deal will be beneficial for your company as well", she said.

"for me my family is more important than any deal, miss gupta. And yes I am not dismissing your proposal, but if you want we can meet tomorrow at your convenience,

"NO. I don't have time, its now or never. Well we can do one thing, lets meet right now, I will just take 5 mins and then we can leave from there.

"umm well that works fine with me" Arnav sighed giving up on her stubbornness.

"well then see you at taj landsend in coffee shop" she said in a dismissing tone.

"WAIT..hello Miss.. taj will be too far from my house..and I don't want to be late to reach your house. Its unethical... why cant we do one thing... can we make this at your place? I mean the meeting?" Arnav hoped she agreed for once.

"that's my house not my office and I don't like discussing business in my house Mr. Raizada", house is not for meeting business associates.

"okey Miss Arrogant.."

"Exucse me" Khushi spatted out.

"I mean Miss Gupta, lets meet at the caf near to your house. We can meet up there and have a cup of coffee and discuss what you have to tell.."

"don't make it sound like a date Mr. Raizada. Its just a formal meet okey", and she cut the phone on his face.

"What The F" Arnav angrily looked at his phone and gritted his teeth. "yeh cheez hai kya? Samajti kya hai apne aapko, arrogant, spoilt brat", he muttered under his breath and then looked at the shocked akash.

"Bhai! I have never seen you so angry. Who was it?" akash patted Arnav's shoulder to smooth his anger.

"Miss. Khushi. Kumari. Gupta. Daughter of your prospective Father in Law".

"arrey baapre.. yeh aise hai jo mere Mr. Cool bhai ko gussa dila sakti hai to uski behen kaise hogi?" akash worriedly asked Arnav.

"Arrey nahi dude, payel is suljha huya.. she is nice unlike her arrogant stubborn sister. Anyways dude you and Di reach Gupta house in an hour. I will join you guys directly there. I have to meet this female" Arnav narrowed his eyes muttering profanities under his breath.

Khushi looked at her receiver and closed her eyes in frustration. "I am helpless this time Arnav Singh Raizada. I would have never taken help from a man.. but that Singhania is all set to crack this deal. And I have to win this deal to set my scores with him. How dare he buy my employee and make him spit put my figures last time. Aman was wrong it wasnot a paper mistake. It was that unfaithful Mr Sharma who sold himself to Singhania. Only one man who has never lost a deal till today is you Mr Arnav singh Raizada. I have to take your help to crack this deal.

Khushi took her car keys and headed towards the porch. She threw the keys on the sofer's face and barked at him to get the car.

With a scratching noice she zoomed the car leaving behind a shouting mother who was calling Khushi's name.
