Chapter 1
[MEMBERSONLY]
After what feels like eternity, I concluded this one-shot.
Imagine it's after the closure of the current track when RB has departed from BZ after giving them Komolika as a parting gift.
He has decided to distance himself from a certain woman who is his wife.

As fierce raindrops came crashing by, he stood near the huge glass window, ready to revel in the beauty of nature’s aesthetic violence. The storm soon took form of a ballet of terror, and he could clearly behold the agents of nature indulging playfully in it. The brewing storm, fire, and sadism in his eyes paralleled the sport outside the window. Perhaps his own spirit was an extension of the wild, fierce spirit that danced outside. His cigar smoke took form of a temporary cloud, elevating his mysticism and taking him to enigmatic heights before dying.
The nightmarish aesthetic delight was music to his ears, and in these moments, he looked back at his life. His was a life saturated by betrayal, pain, its resulting numbness, and revenge…void of a soothing touch.
Pain, his secret faithful companion always stayed in his subconsciousness. Due to the intensity of the pain he felt, its effects had grown largely numb. He hardly felt any emotion, and seldom listened to his beating heart that still sheltered the sensitivity of his finished years. But lately his wretched heart had started to stir for an intruder, threatening to break walls he had built against vulnerability, against love, against relationships, against everything a man couldn’t imagine his life without.
Suppressing the subtle stirs, he slumped in his rocking chair and began to ponder with a glass of alcohol in his hand.Suddenly, he heard mirthful giggles and stared out of the window to trace the source. SHE was there, his wicked tormentor…laughing, dancing, tempting him to join her in the far-fetched ecstasy. But how could this frail woman withstand such a violent storm? Surely his fancy was deceiving him. She gave him a look of mysterious sadness and vanished in the storm.
“Stop! You’re being unreasonably forbidding.”
“That’s none of your business. I told you not to expect mercy from my end. Moreover, I wouldn’t accept if you again run to babysit your persecutors you outlandishly love.”
RUTHLESS. HEARTLESS. MACHINE. BUSINESS SHARK.
These words bestowed him with a satisfaction so palpable that he never experienced a need for tenderness. How could he possess the need when its only source had long departed? And his recent hopes were brutally quashed by a gross specimen of femininity.
Rishabh retreated to his chair and his last conversation with Prerna began to register its presence in the conscious part of his psyche.
“I’m leaving this hellhole. Despite your blatant disregard, awful duplicity, and unashamed sleaze, I haven’t overlooked my duties. You’re welcome in the Bajaj mansion as my legal wife. But expect nothing more than what the law entitles you with.”
“You’re being stubborn.”
“Trust me, you haven’t yet experienced my stubbornness.”
Despite his calm face, that veiled rage and sadism in his eyes had scared her…for she had never seen him this consumed by brutality. They never talked to each other after their return. And Mr Bajaj ignored her like she had become invisible.
That was the real Rishabh Bajaj, aloof, indifferent, and pitiless. She grew sore with her intimacy with his pitiless side after subconsciously getting used to his tender side and attention, something she never acknowledged but had got used to. She was now possessed by secret regret and shame.
The storm outside the glass protection grew fierce, threatening to destruct everything that disrupted its dance of terror. His eyes glowed with a glint of pleasure, and he revelled in the melody of annihilation, with the darkness in his eyes bestowing him with a charm so seductive and damaging that one look could lure unsuspecting victims into devastation. That’s what he was going to do, wreak havoc and destruct people who had wronged him in the past, and had dared to meddle with his present despite repeated warnings. It was time to break free from all promises and wants that shackled him. He was fated to be a devastating God!
