Chapter 21

"please come back to me siddhant!' cries roli clutching her mangalsutra. 

"don't cry di...we will find him soon' spoke Aarav worriedly driving the car...Roli couldn't endure the eerie situation as this is really new for her....she never faced such a situation before....

Her heart has started pumping rapidly shivers her legs and hands....

LATE EVENING:

Roli was crying pathetically lying in the sofa hugging her knees....

"where are you?' mumbles roli tightening her grip around her knees....

"di..let's give a complaint' suggested Aarav descending in the stairs preparing himself to go police station...He found him crying continously without a break...Aarav felt bad..,

"di..?' called him sits in his knees in front of her...He caressed her hairs..

"di..'

"bring him back aarav...I want to see him' whines her nudging her face in the sofa....

"Where would he have gone?'..why didn't he come to me?..where did he go when his house is h...' roli paused as something struck her head. She got up from the sofa then started running out...

"dii..?' perplexs aarav followed her. Roli occupied the driving seat in her car then drove away...

"didi..?' shouted aarav being worried. He rubs his forehead as he doesn't know what to do...He saw sid's bike in the parking lot...

He started driving the bike and followed her. 

Roli stopped her car in front sid's old house...She got down from the car then taking steps near the door...Aarav stopped his bike...

"dii...what are you doing here?' queried him walking with her. 

"Siddhant..' says roli touched the knob to open the door and found it already open...

Roli and aarav entered into the door then directly walked near sid's room...

Roli exhaled...

Finally god gave her life back...and her life was lying in the dusty floor staring the ceiling....His dormant state and the tears which was flowing down pricked her heart...

"jiju..' aarav tries to go near sid but roli stopped him...,

"stay here' she said taking steps near her siddhant....

Roli sat beside siddhant and laid down beside him placing her head in his right arm...She wrapped her right hand around his waist and hugged him tightly....

Her hand reached his cheek and wipes his tears...

"you scared me' confessed her wetting his shirt...

"g-go-go away from me..' weeps sid more. 

"I can't!' stated roli tightening her grip around him...

"I'm a loser....go away!' he squeaks making roli to cry...They both cries in each other arms...

"you don't deserve a loser...go away!..' Sid pushed her in all sudden shocking her...He sat in the floor and turned against her..Roli back hugged him..

"I said go away!...' Shouted him. Roli flinched but still didn't move an inch...

Sid turned on her side then grabbed her both shoulders sending pain inside her...

"won't you hear..go awayyy'

"I'll die siddhant...' 

Siddhant burst into tears and fell in her shoulder...

"he-he-spoiled my life again roli...he spoiled my life...' 

"shh..' she caressed his back. 

"your father was right!...I can't give you the life you deserve..I'm such a loser roli!...I hate myself for my incapable' whines sid inconsolably clutching her back...Roli allowed him to cry as much as he wanted...

Sid stopped his loud squall as his throat has dried and tears has exhausted in his eyes...

Roli found him weeping silently in her shoulder...She pulled him back then cupped his swollen face...

Roli started shedding tears...she pecked his forehead,

"come let's go home' said her. Sid said nothing as he's in all devastated...

Roli couldn't control her tears after finding him like this...She got up from the floor then made him to stand...She took him out of the room holding his right arm. 

"jiju..?' aarav went near sid. His eyes are welled up...

"jiju..' he held his left arm and helped him to walk....

Roli made siddhant to sit in the front seat...Sid leaned back while tears were running down his eyes....

Roli drove away and aarav followed them by sid's bike.

ROSID'S ROOM:

"Sleep' said her covering sid with a blanket then sat beside him...

"why roli..don't I deserve a little bit of happiness?..am I that much bad?' asks sid with his balance strength. 

Roli wiped his tears..,

"sleep siddhant..will talk everything later!' says roli running her fingers in his hairs. Sid turned on his left side and closed his eyes...

Slowly he drifted into sleep...Roli moved out after turning off the lights. She went to the next room and closed the door then leaned on it. She started crying loudly as she couldn't endure the pain....

Roli covered her mouth to tries to hide her cry from the world...

**Don't I deserve a little bit of happiness?**

**am I that much bad?**

She Slowly sat in the floor gliding in the door with a broken heart as siddhant's words revolves around her head. She remembers how her siddhant was cried in her shoulder,  the mere recall makes her sob more...

Roli entered into the room after washing her red face. She found him sleeping in the bed covering himself fully with a blanket. She went near him then entered into the blanket and hugged him from behind. 

Roli felt his hot skin against her..She shocked!

She pulled the blanket down then checked his temperature..

"siddhanttt' cries her pulling him closer as the temperature is very high. 

"AARAVVVV..' shouted Roli. 

"di..' aarav entered into the room after hearing her loud call...

"call Sam uncle' weeps her hugging sid tightly. Aarav took his mobile and called his family doctor..

Roli was sitting beside sid having his head in her lap...

"He will be alright in the morning roli..don't worry dear!..' consoled Sam looking at the crying injecting sid...

"thank you uncle' thanked roli without taking her eyes off from siddhant...

Sam smiled at her then prepared himself to go out after giving prescription to aarav....

Sam went out while aarav accompanies with him till down. 

Roli bent down and pecked his forehead caressing his cheek..

She made him sleep properly in the bed then pulled him closer. She hugged him close to her chest and strokes his back. The whole night roli caressed his back and stares him without distracting her attention....

MORNING:

Roli checked sid and found his fever has subsided...She smiles then kissed his forehead before made him sleep properly in the pillow...

She got down from the bed and walked inside the washroom to take bath...

After an hour...

Roli entered into the room with a glass full of turmeric milk. She spotted sid who was awake but still in the bed and thinking something to himself rubbing his forehead. She went near him then placed the tray in the table. She sat beside sid..,

"how are you feeling now?' enquired Roli disturbing his thoughts. Sid saw her, 

He slowly moved near her then placed his head in her lap...

"I'm sorry' said sid in a feeble tone...

"why?..' asked roli placing her head above his back. 

"once again I failed..and now I can't give you..'

"shh..' Roli put a finger in his lips stopped him...

"who said, you can't give me a happy life?... My happiness is you siddhant!...You are here..beside me!..What more do I need to live in happiness than to be in your shadow?....' spoke roli rubbing his cheek with her. She hears his weeping sound...Roli opened her eyes and found him crying silently...

"I'm a loser roli..' 

"No..' she raised his head cupping his face...

"you're not a loser...the mistake is his!..' 

"still..I shouldn't have raised my hand on him in front of everyone...but roli, If he had only asked me for money, I would not have been so angry that much...he told me to send my wife or my sister for a night...' cries him shocking her. 

"what?..' infuriated roli. 

"yes...Yes, i don't have anyone that time but still how can i bear such things..' he sobs hugging her...Roli pulled him more closer to pacify the broken soul. 

AFTERNOON:

Roli took siddhant to dining room...

"see your favourite food..' smiles her serving him food...

"aarav?'.. asked sid finding aarav no where in the house. 

"college...now eat and tell how's it..?' said Roli started feeding him. 

"you like it?' asked her. He gave a slight nod without any expression. Roli pouted her lips...

"ja cutty...i've prepared this with so much of love, but you have not given me a little compliment..' complaints her showing a sad face...

"it's nice roli' sid forced a smile...Roli pinched his nose as finally he smiled (of course fake one) still he smiled after her cute drama....

"thank you for this smile' she said fed him food. 

"Siddhant..I too hasn't eaten anything..' she Saudi the pushing the plate near him indicating him to feed her. Sid took the plate with emotionless then fed her. 

After lunch...

Siddhant was in roli's shoulder lying in the hall sofa with a closed eyes while roli was caressing his back and tresses admiring his face. 

"I will search another job roli..' says him without opening his eyes. 

"what happened?..don't you like this job?'

"I selected that office..as that was vicinity to my house and the ground...now there's no use to go that ground...So, let me search a fine job with a good salary!...Hope this world won't push this gold medalist again...'

"you are a gold medalist?..' shocked roli as this is a new one for her. 

"yeah..' sid took a breath in disinterest...He opened his teary eyelids...

"my gold medal did not fulfill my dream..at least let it give me a nice job...' says him allows his tears to drop down. Roli pulled him close to her chest....

"everything will alright ok..sleep now'says her wiping his tears...Siddhant closed his eyes and cries silently.......

EVENING:

Aarav entered into the house and found its empty...

"diii...'

"I'm here' shouted roli from the kitchen. He went to kitchen and saw his sister was preparing coffee...

"where is jiju?..' asked him baffling her. 

"he's in hall only..' replied her turning the gas off....

"no..he's not there' he said increasing her heart beat...She came out from the kitchen...

"siddhant?' called her loudly....

"siddhantttt?/ jijuu?' shouted both together. 

"I'm here..' a voice came from backside. Aarav and roli rushed there and saw sid was burning his dumbells bag and some books....

"siddhant...what is this?' asked roli pulling him away from the fire. 

"let me do this roli...These are waste now' smiles him painfully. Roli hugged him,

"don't break down siddhant...let's find a solution..'

"there's no solution..' he tightened his grip. Roli couldn't control her tears as it flows down.....

NEXT MORNING:

"why are you going today?..let's Stay in home naa!' Roli said pulling sid's laptop bag from his shoulder. 

"let's me go roli...I will feel better' said him looked into her eyes. Roli huffed...

"fine!' she said left him to go. 

"you didn't come today?' queried sid looking at aarav who was watching TV in casual. Aarav saw roli..,

"woh..i'm in leave today' replied him with a smile. Sid nodded his head....

"bye...drive carefully' roli pecked his forehead. 

"bye' says sid with a little smile then drove away. 

MORNING 10 O'CLOCK: 

COMMISSIONER OFFICE, MUMBAI:

Roli and aarav were sitting outside of pradyuman's cabin and waiting for his call...Roli saw the name plate..

M. PRADYUMANN KHURRANE, IAS...ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER OF POLICE...

she clutched her fist in anger...

A person came out...

"sir called you inside' he informed then moved inside again. 

Roli and aarav entered into the cabin and found the person who was reason for their loveable person's cry. 

"have your seat' said him without lifting his eyes. 

Roli and aarav sat in front of him...

"who are you?..Why had you been disturbing my assistant since yesterday for my appointment?..' queried him in a cold tone. 

"actually sir..I'm..'

"who is commissioner to you?...why did he tell me to meet you?' He asked as he remembered how his superior ordered him to meet her. 

"my relative..' answered her. 

"tell me who are you?..what do you want?' 

"sir...I'm siddhant's wife..' says Roli making him smirk. 

"ohh...that guy's wife!..why did you spoil your life by marrying such a loser..?' he laughed giving a look at her sindoor and mangalsutra...Roli's eyes turned red..,

Aarav opened his mouth to speak by stopped as roli held his hand. 

"sir..I'm ready to give the money you asked to my husband..'

"25 lakhs?'

"yes sir..I'm ready' said her. Pradyumann smiled....

"that's great...thenn....what about my another condition..? a night with you'

"what the hell..' shouted aarav got up from the chair. 

"aarav keep quiet...' roli tries to control him. 

"di..what is he..' 

"calm down!..let me do this for my siddhant's happiness....(she turned on his side) sir I'm ready for everything...and I won't tell this to anyone..' she assured shocking aarav. 

"that's like a good girl' smiled him. Aarav showed off roli's hand then went out. 

"be ready...come to my guest house!...my assistant will give you the address' he said with a smirk. 

She nodded her head then walked out...

PRECAP:

Siddhant gave a tight slap to roli in front of aarav.
