INTRODUCTION

"Mrigtrishna" in English means "Mirage". Mirage is a term used when one has optical illusion of water being present even if its not. In a desert this often happens due to reflection of light on sand particles and it produces water like effect!

This story shows extremes of life ! 

How difficult it is for a poor, young, beautiful, defenceless orphan girl to protect her values, dignity and character in most trying of times? But despite of trying times she believes in emotions whether good or bad are needed to fill colour in one's life! Will she ever find someone to love her?

A youngman who has all comforts and money, thinks life is a bed of roses as he has no pain and sadness in his life. He feels by only doing hard work and discipline one can earn money. And money can buy everything worthwhile. Emotions are useless! Can it buy love?
