Part 10 - A New Beginning (Final Part)
Six months later...
Life had finally become peaceful.
The media had moved on to other stories.
The Roy family had also chosen to leave the painful past behind.
One morning...
Maya felt dizzy while getting ready for work.
Rudra immediately held her.
Rudra: "Maya, are you alright?"
Maya: "I don't know... I've been feeling tired for the last few days."
Rudra smiled.
Rudra: "We're going to the hospital. No arguments."
Maya laughed.
Maya: "Yes, Mr. Overprotective Husband."
At the hospital...
After examining Maya, the doctor smiled warmly.
Doctor: "Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Roy."
Rudra and Maya looked at each other, confused.
Doctor: "You're going to become parents."
For a moment...
Neither of them spoke.
Then Rudra's eyes filled with happy tears.
He hugged Maya tightly.
Rudra: "This is the happiest day of my life."
Maya smiled through her tears.
Maya: "Ours."
The entire family celebrated the wonderful news.
Jhanvi performed a small prayer ceremony for Maya and the baby.
Suman hugged both her daughters.
Suman: "No matter what happened in the past, today my family feels complete."
Meanwhile...
Ananya had begun attending regular counseling sessions.
She had also started volunteering at a children's education center.
Slowly...
She learned to let go of her resentment and obsession.
One evening, she visited Maya.
She carried a small knitted pair of baby socks.
Maya welcomed her with a smile.
There was an awkward silence.
Finally...
Ananya spoke.
Ananya: "Di... I don't expect you to forget the past."
Maya quietly listened.
Ananya: "For years, I thought loving Rudra would make me happy. I blamed you for everything that happened in my childhood. But I was wrong. I was holding on to pain instead of living my own life."
She placed the tiny socks in Maya's hands.
Ananya: "These are for my nephew or niece."
Maya's eyes became moist.
She embraced Ananya.
Maya: "The past cannot be changed... but our future can."
Ananya nodded.
Ananya: "From today... I give up my obsession. Rudra was never meant to be mine. I sincerely pray that both of you remain happy forever."
Rudra, who had been standing at the doorway, smiled with relief.
Rudra: "Thank you, Anu."
For the first time in years...
The three of them smiled together without any bitterness.
A few months later...
The Roy family welcomed a beautiful baby boy.
The entire hospital echoed with congratulations.
Rudra carefully carried his son in his arms.
His eyes filled with tears as he looked at Maya.
Rudra: "Thank you... for giving me the greatest gift of my life."
Maya smiled lovingly.
Maya: "He's our new beginning."
Jhanvi blessed her grandson.
Prem and Suman showered him with love.
Myrah and Rishi happily became the baby's favorite uncle and aunt.
Aditya lovingly carried the baby and smiled at Ananya.
She smiled back.
Their friendship had slowly healed into something deeper, built on trust instead of longing.
That evening...
As the family gathered at the Roy Mansion, Rudra stood beside Maya, holding their son.

He looked at his wife and said,
Rudra: "We survived every storm because we never stopped believing in each other."
Maya intertwined her fingers with his.
Maya: "Real love isn't about possession... it's about trust, forgiveness, and choosing each other every single day."
Ananya looked at them with a peaceful smile.
This time...
There was no jealousy in her heart.
Only genuine happiness for her sister.
The past had finally found its closure.
The future belonged to hope, family, and love.
