Maan's new Challenge....

Geet Handa is not any ordinary girl who will either expect a Rajkumar on a horse or a handsome hunk to take her on a Romantic moonlit date night and surprise her with a drone proposal with her name splashing in the skies.....

Maan doesn't know that he has already won half the challenge by spending time with Geet, cause the main thing Geet needed was his attention which she is already getting by the way, by taking her here he has shut down any other distractions while the two are left with only each other's company....

Maan is wondering what he should do next.....

Geet keeps watching him silently and is enjoying how her man is hell bent to impress his ladylove, this is the most romantic version of Maan Geet has so far witnessed, he is love struck obviously, it's not only physical but soul stiring.......

Maan: I am confused Geet, like I don't even know about your likes and dislikes, and I have never cared to know, and you on the other hand have always cared about me and my family, you went against your family and took the risk of your life by trusting someone like me for the sake of my sister Annie, but I was selfish for i was only thinking about my sister's happiness when I agreed for this wedding, and I was really a jerk, I couldn't even treat you as a well wisher let alone friend

Geet: because you are Maan Singh Khurana, and you didn't have a normal childhood like most of us, I am lucky enough to have got a normal life, I just wanted you to have a taste of it, I wanted you to get out of your reservations and embrace normal life, and I think I have done it

Maan: haan Geet, you made me break my shell and come out of my safe zone where I was all alone, you have helped me restore my faith and trust in relationships Geet, specially with Annie's married life, else Annie would have also ended up like me, lonely, I have started liking myself and loving my life only after you came into it, so I want this to continue, I want you by my side always Geet, I don't know what it is, but I believe that I need you to survive, I don't know if I could ever love you like you do, I can't promise that I'll never hurt you or I will make your life like heaven for I'm not any Romeo or Majnu Geet, I'm a flawed human, I"m Maan Singh Khurana

Maan: Geet, I'm not here for therapy

Geet: do what I say Maan and please stop over thinking and over analyzing

Maan keeps quiet..... a few seconds later......

Geet: Maan, are you counting or thnking?

Maan: counting Geet

Geet: i don't believe you, tell me what count have you counted

Maan: 37 geet

Geet: now count aloud Maan

Maan opens his eyes.....: what?

Geet: maan, i said open your mouth, not eyes

Maan: geeeet

Maan closes his eyes....

Geet: hmmm start counting Maan

Maan: 39 40 42

Geet: that's good

Maan: 98 99 100

Geet: ok ok don't open your eyes yet Maan

Maan: hmm

Geet: now, go back in your memory and start thinking about us

Maan: hmmm

Geet: when did we first met Maan? Do you remember?

Maan: I do Geet, I see that day, it's Annie's wedding, you are there with your gang, chatting and laughing and enjoying as you are working on the decor

Geet: haan Maan, you got it right

Maan: I am just hearing your laughter and turning to look at you, I am actually wondering how irresponsible you are to consider your job as a joke and start doubting your work, but there is something in your smile that stops me from getting mad at you, I want to wait and watch

Maan: You look so beautiful and I believe beauty comes with a dumb mind, you will surely lack the capability to handle such a huge task

Geet: you and your little mind that always doubts everything

Maan: I follow you and keep watching you carefully among all other work

Geet: MSK just can't stop watching Geet

Maan: I am at the kitchen looking into the caterer's menu and work, he is a little behind schedule and the sweet making is not yet finished, I am losing my patience now, this whole thing is neither organized properly and nor planned earlier, actually there seems to be no scheduling or pre-planning at all, how is it even possible to hold such a huge event like this? will the guests be served on time? will they even get a proper meal, forget about the feast they would expect?

Geet: Khuranaji, it's not your official meeting, its a wedding and one should just put his whole heart and enjoy whatever he is doing, the rest will happen by itself, if you sit and think about it as a work, your calculative mind will spoil the spirit of the shadhi itself, it's a celebration enjoyed by everyone including the people who work tirelessly to make it happen

Maan: the halwaii tries to distract me with his laddus, he forces me to try it and they are inedible, fully laden with fat and too sweet be consumed by a human

Geet: what? your taste sucks Maan, Shadhi ke laddu toh meete meete hothe hai with the heavenly swad of desi ghee, muh mein jaathe hi mann kush ho jaatha hai, and one instantly becomes a part of the celebrations, he feels like singing and dancing

Maan: I just can't eat that thrash, I tell the cook not to serve such a sugar bomb to the guests and he laughs at me

Halwai: sir, I am sorry, I didn't know you have diabetics, this is not for you, but that doesn't mean that others shouldn't enjoy having them, people love my laddus and they come to the weddings specially to have them

Maan: what? who on Earth will eat this?

just then YOU come there.....

Geet: masterji, I am very tired and hungry, give me something to eat

Maan: what's wrong with this girl? haven't even started the doing anything, just walking here and there like she is the one responsible for the whole marriage and now she acts as if she does everything herself

Halwai: you have come at the right time madam ji, the laddus are still warm and ready

Geet: oh I was just craving for something sweet. Shadhi wale laddu ka alag hi swad hotha hai, aur aapke laddu toh lajawaab hai

Geet eats one and asks for another.........

Geet: hmm, aap ke haath mein toh jadoo hai, ye toh bahut tasty hai, please send them to my team there, they need this energy booster

Halwai is so proud, he looks at Maan and is like, now you must have understood how popular my food is......

Maan gets mad at poor Geet for no reason......
