At KC….
After the unusual tea break… thanks to Geet….
Maan is back…
Adi and others are worried that Maan would be angry after what happened…
It’s a nightmare to even think of any changes in Maan’s plans and schedule….
Sasha pretends to be upset too though she ate the most samosas..
Sasha: MK, I have prepared a few sketches for the clients
Sasha tries to impress Maan by acting as if she has utilized the break for some useful work…
The sketches were already there…
Maan: so Mr and Mrs Chopra, let’s continue from where we left
Mr. Chopra: no Mr. Khurana, the break is not over
Maan is confused… what’s going on… everyone is ready to take a nap now? Geet has turned KC into a guest house…..
Maan: but Mr. Chopra, I have another meeting in an hour
Mrs. Chopra: no problem Mr. Maan, we are happy to continue with your secretary, I think she is more understanding of our Desi needs
The Chopra’s are excited and energized after the snacks break…
Sasha is not happy….
Sasha: but Mrs. Chopra, we are almost done, you will get a clear picture of the proposed house with these sketches
Adi: Sasha, let them tell their wishes first, haina Maan sir?
Maan: yes Mr. Chopra, we are here to give you what you want , we don’t just built structures, we help people live their dreams
Mr. Chopra: we have been living away from our place for decades and have lost touch of its soul
Mrs.Chopra :He is absolutely right, we want someone like Mrs. Khurana to bring that touch of our “mitti” into our home
Mr.Chopra: Well said Tina, Mrs. Khurana would be the perfect person to fulfill our dreams
Maan calls Geet….
Maan: Geet, come to the conference room
Geet: is the meeting over? I am waiting to come Maan, it’s “Mahi mahi” time, what’s life without some office romance with your secretary boss
Maan: Geet, the clients want you to be a part of their project
Geet: what? I have no idea about your job
Maan: Geet, just come and meet them
Geet comes….
Adi: ha ha ha ha ha, Sasha, could you please take us through the project once
Sasha gets irritated…
Adi wants Geet to get an introduction about what they are dealing with….
Sasha: Adi, the clients are happy with our proposal
Mr. Chopra: Adi is right, we do need to look into it another time, haina Tina?
Tina: absolutely, Mrs. Khurana
Geet: you can call me Geet
Tina: Geet, we want you to see this
Maan: Sasha, everyone would like a recap
Sasha gives another glimpse of the proposed plan….
Ravi: I feel like we are missing something here
Tina: I also have the same feeling
Geet: I know what’s missing, Sasha has done a wonderful job with this Delhi house but what we are looking for is the Hoshiarpurwala Chopra house
Tina: yes, that’s what I am talking about, a more earthy heartwarming intimate family home, not this five star hotel fancy stay, this will entrap us in the same concrete blocks that we have been living all these years
Geet: Maan, I would like to talk to the clients for a few minutes, to get to know their needs
Sasha: it’s already done, you can take a look at this ma’am
Geet: but I would like to hear from them directly
Maan: ok then, Geet, you can take charge of this project, I hope you are happy Mr and Mrs Chopra
Tina: yes Mr. Maan, you can carry on with your other meeting
Maan: Adi, let’s go
Geet: Maan, we will go to your cabin, you can continue here itself
Maan: but Geet
Maan looks at the clients… what about their comfort?
Ravi: that would be great, haina Tina?
Tina: yes Mr. Khurana, we are good
Geet takes them to Maan’s room…
Geet: I am a wedding planner, so, I don’t know much about construction honestly
Tina: that’s wonderful, you are the one for us, you understand the feelings of your clients better, you have been part of people’s most intimate and soul stirring wedding ceremonies, we just lost that connect to our land, we feel like aliens, we need to feel at home again
Geet: I understand, I promise you that your house warming will be nothing short of a fat Indian wedding and you will become full Desi by then, you will have to do the bangra too
Ravi: I am in, I have to brush up my bangra skills
Geet: I want to show you something
Geet opens her tab and shows a wedding she has done few months back in New Zealand….
It was the wedding of the Khanna family, they wanted a 100% Punjabi wedding for their son…
Geet had done an old Haveli model set for the wedding….
It has a huge courtyard in the front where the wedding stage is set….
The Chopras fall in love with that design….
Tina: I would love to have a replica of this sort
Ravi: you can work on this model and bring this into reality
Geet: done, you got it
The Chopra’s leave happily….
Maan comes from his meeting…
Geet is working on her design…
It’s well past lunch time…
Yes, they had a late breakfast, but now its almost tea time…
Even Maan is feeling hungry….
Geet is busy so she is not so hungry….
Maan: Geet, what are you doing?
Geet: Maan, look at this, they loved this one, help me Maan, we have to turn this into a home
Maan comes and closes her laptop….
Maan: Geet, we can do it, I will ask Sasha to do it
Geet: no, I will do it on my own, it’s my first project at KC
Maan; but Geet
Geet: no but Maan, now that this is our business I want to be a part of it too
Maan: ok Geet, I know what you want now
Geet: what?
Maan: just come with me
Geet: where?
Maan: you come and see for yourself
Maan has set the table for lunch ready….
Nakul has made Maan’s chicken salad and Geet’s favourite Amritsari kulcha with lehsuni palak paneer…..
Geet is surprised….
Geet: Maan, is this MSK? When did you become a foodie?
Maan: Geet, I have read somewhere that the best way to someone’s heart is through their stomach
Geet: that’s true, so you want a place in here, haina?
Maan: maybe
Geet: let’s see, Maan, you have got one more week to impress your Mrs and I can tell you that you are doing great
Geet wants Maan to realize that he too has to make some efforts and Geet Handa’s love and affection can not be taken for granted….
Maan: I know how to get what I want Geet, I am the MSK
Geet: is it? I don’t think so, you have to up your game Maan, or you might lose
Maan: MSK is a not a loser Geet
Geet: interesting, I must say that you have won this round by a huge margin Mr..Khurana
Maan: you just wait and watch Geet
Geet: I am always waiting Maan
Geet is happy to see Maan taking the steps to take their love story forward for a change….
Geet is just teasing Maan and wants him to feel what it is to be in love with someone and be loved by someone….
