Chapter 3

In the living room of Kapoor Mansion,father-daughter duo was sitting on the adjacent couch and talking about  something serious...at least their expressions said that.

"Taani, I know that Sharon is not ready for all this but trust me beta what I’m doing is good for her. Swayam is a very nice guy and I know him and his family very well. He is a simple and mature person. He will take care of her and keep her happy always. I hope you understand." Mr. kapoor said this getting little emotional holding his daughter's hand in his, as he was trying to make her understand.

After his wife's death, he was shattered but he knew that he has to live for his daughters. After their mother, both were his responsibility not only as a father but as a mother also. He always tried to give everything to them to make them both happy. He loves his daughters so much and now before something will happen with him, he wants to see both of them settled in their lives.

"I understand dad... aap hamare liye jo bhi decision lenge wo best hi hoga." Taani said as she kept her other hand on his and assured her dad with proud smile. He returned the smile as he kept his hand on her head.

She understands her dad very well and also know that why he is saying all this. She knew that after their mom, how he had managed everything and took care of them and she is grateful to her Krishnaji that he had gave them so loving and caring father who is the best dad in the whole world.

"His dad is very good friend of mine, that's why beta I wanted you to go with her because I can’t believe her on this. Wo jarur kuch na kuch gadbad karegi... aur ek tum hi ho jo use samjha sakti ho aur handle bhi kar sakti ho." her dad said further because he knew very well his daughter that she will definitely do something to escape from this marriage.

"Don't worry dad... aisa kuch nahi hoga... di is a mature person and woh kabhi bhi aisa kuch nahi karengi jisse aap hurt ho." she replied defending her di with assuring smile.

"I just hope so." her dad murmured.

She was about to say something further but before that they heard someone's shouts and that was none other than Sharon. Mr. Kapoor looked at her as if saying ‘this girl will never change’ on which Taani gave him sheepish smile. She immediately stood up from her place and went towards sharon's room to look what's the matter. She entered in her room and saw that so many dresses scattered on the bed and some on floor and her di was shouting on one of their servants.

"Di, what happened... why you are shouting at her? " Taani asked while moved towards Sharon. "And what is all this..?" she asked confused pointing towards bed and floor.

"Thank god teddy bear you came... I’m so confused that what do I wear.. and moreover this Radha (their servent) didn't iron my clothes which I have told her in the morning." Sharon went little calm when she saw her little sis and whined at first but then she glared at the poor servant.

Taani sighed at this and turned towards Radha and signaled her to leave she will handle it through her eyes.

"Tell me na teddy bear... what should I wear..? There isn't any perfect dress to wear." Sharon again asked while still searching in the closest.

"Hmmm... looks like someone is really interested to meet that guy." Taani teased her as she sat on the bed. A smirk playing on her lips looking at her di who was behaving like as she is going on her first date.

"Shut up teddy bear... I just wanna be look PERFECT... like always." Sharon snapped as she turned towards his little sis who was in mood to pull her leg. "And now can you please help me..?" she said or more precisely ordered.

“Di, you’re the one who is designer here, so you should know what will look good on you.” Taani said reminding her sister.

“Taani, do you want me to go and meet that guy or not?” Sharon asked her in threatening tone.

"Ok ok." Taani replied and stood up from bed and starts looking through the dresses which were lying on the bed. After sometime she chooses one and handed her.

"This one is perfect." She said.

"Thank you, teddy bear."Sharon kissed her on cheek and went to change.

"And please get ready soon... I will wait for you downstairs." Taani said little loud while leaving the room.

"Ok." Sharon replied from washroom. Taani went in her room to get ready as well.

"Hello aunty, how are you..?" Swayam greeted with Rey's mom who was sitting on couch in living room as he entered in his house.

"Hello beta, I’m good...how are you?" she replied with smile as she stood up from her place and hugged him.

"I’m also good." He replied. "Aunty, where is Rey..?" he asked looking here and there as they were supposed to go to meet that girl together.

"Rey aata hi hoga... come sit." she said with smile. He went and sat on couch opposite to Mrs. Singhania. "So, where are you busy nowadays beta ki hamse milne bhi nahi aate?" she asked as she sat down.

"Wo.." swayam started but cut off by Rey.

"Wo mom, swayam aajkal ek project pe kaam kar raha hai... bahut hi important and SPECIAL project hai... which changes his LIFE... isiliye aajkal yeh bahut busy rahta hai... hai na Swayam?" Rey said to tease Swayam with smirk as he descended down from stairs and came and stands beside him. His mom looked at him confused and then turned towards Swayam, who was looking at Rey and giving him ‘I will kill you' look. But then Swayam turned towards his mom and gave her forced smile.

"What project..?" she asked curious as she know there is something else which they are talking about.

"Nothing... Nothing aunty... iski to aadat hai... you know." swayam replied nervously while Rey was trying hard to control his laugh seeing his best friend's condition. His mom was not convinced but still nodded.

"By the way... you are looking handsome today." she complimented Swayam.

"Of course... aaj to ise handsome dikhna hi hai." Rey murmured which only heard by Swayam and he shot him a glare.

"Thank you aunty." swayam replied with smile and turned towards Rey.

"Chale..?" Swayam said gritted his teeth. Rey nodded helplessly.

"Waise mom was right... you are looking more handsome today as you are going on your first date." Rey teased him when they were moving towards swayam's car.

"Shut up Rey... by the way why are you dressed up like this... as if you are going to meet that girl not me?" Swayam snapped back and this times he got the chance to smirk on his best friend.

"Hey... I always dressed up like this when it came to casuals." Rey replied annoyed.

"Swayam, are you sure that mujhe tere sath wahan jana chahiye...?" Rey asked him as they settled in the car.

"Of course... because she is also not coming alone." he replied. Rey looked at him confused but ignored as he is not interested in this. Swayam starts an engine and drove towards their destination.

"WOW di... you look stunning."Taani complimented her when she came down.

"Thanks teddy bear... by the way you are also looking so beautiful." Sharon replied with smile.

"Let's go... we are getting late."Taani said and they both moved towards their care and left to the restaurant where they supposed to meet a guy.

"Good evening... How can I help you ma'am?" a manager came towards them and asked politely when they entered in restaurant.

"Yeah... I came here to meet Mr. Swayam Shekhawat." Sharon said with formal smile.

"Ohk ma'am... there... last table... in the right side corner." Manager replied as he pointed towards the table. She nodded and thanked him. Manager left from there.

"See... how despo he is... corner wala table book kiya hai." Sharon said disgusted.

"Di... look whole place is full...so maybe koi aur table nahi mila hoga." Taani said trying to make her understand.

Sharon glared at her. Looking at her di she made an innocent face and gestured her to move. As they starts moving towards the table suddenly Taani's phone starts ringing. It was their dad's call so she said Sharon to go ahead; she is coming after attending the call. Sharon nodded and went further. As she reached little close she saw two guys were sitting on the adjacent chairs but she can’t see their faces as she was facing their backs.

"Excuse me..." she said standing behind them. Hearing her both got up from their seats and turned towards her. Swayam and Sharon both were shocked to see each other and said in unison.

"YOU."
