At Penang….

Next day….

Sam: Annie, do you like our place?

Annie: yes, it’s beautiful

Sam: feel at home, you too are a friend just like Geet is to me

Annie: so nice of you to host us, actually I wouldn’t have thought about coming this long, in fact, I don’t even think about going anywhere, Geet told me about you and made all the arrangements without my knowledge

Sam: I know, she is such a pure soul, never thinks about herself

Sam self talk, “Only Geet could take the SIL to the honeymoon?”

Annie: that’s true, she understands everyone easily, that’s why she thought about Riya’s allergy to outside food and took us over to your place

Sam: the problem is she understands everyone’s problem except her own

Annie: what’s about her problem?

Sam: nothing, I was just talking about her absent mindedness, sometimes she forgets that she is married

Annie: I too feel the same sometimes

Sam: see, that’s what I was saying, BTW, where’s Geet? She must still be sleeping? Haina?

Annie: no, she has gone for walking with Riya

Sam: that’s great, Riya is her perfect partner!!!!

Annie: Riya loves Geet’s company

Sam self talk, “ everyone loves Geet’s company but not her man?”

Sam: I think we can go to the butterfly farm today, Riya would like it, let me pack something for lunch, what’s her favourite food?

Annie: let me come and help you

They visit the butterfly farm and do some shopping later in the evening…

Riya enjoyed her day very much….

Sam takes them to the Penang Bird park and the Tropical spice garden …

Sam informs about Maan staying at KL to Dev…

Dev goes and meets Maan at the hotel where Maan is staying….

Geet forgets to inform Maan about Dev….

Maybe Geet has forgotten about Maan itself...

But Sam can't forget that her friend is married and so she has to invite her friend's husband too...

Dev waits in the lobby…

The house keeper informs Maan that someone is waiting for him…

Maan thinks that it must be someone from the business line…

Dev: halo , Dev Khanna

Maan: Maan Singh Khurana

Dev smiles….

Dev: I know

Maan thinks, he must be one from the conference…

Maan have a speech the other day and everyone applauded that….

Maan: I can’t remember you, sorry

Dev: how could you? We are meeting for the first time

Maan is confused… ye kaun hai?

Maan: how do you know me?

Dev: halo Mr.Geet , how do I know you? Geet is my bestie

Maan is like… Mr. Geet? No wonder he is Geet’s bestie… so bestie, go meet Geet… why trouble me?

Maan : she is not here

Dev: I know

Maan looks annoyed… hey dude… you know everything, then why ask me? Haina?

Maan: nice meeting you

Maan is ready to say goodbye… he can’t waste his time like this….

Dev: I just came to invite you home

Maan: thanks, but I’m here for business meet

Dev: I know

Now Dev is testing Maan’s patience….

Maan now stares him ..

Dev: Geet is waiting for you

Maan: what?

Dev: and Sam wouldn’t allow me inside the house if I don’t take you along with me

Now who is Sam?

Maan blinks …

Maan: Sam?

Dev laughs….

Dev: what man? You are so dumb

Maan is turning mad…. How dare you ? You crazy fool…

Dev: who could throw me out of my own house?

Maan is thinking… anyone who is sane would… even I would…

Dev laughs and continues…

Dev: Sam is my master, I’m her Gulam, the world has abandoned slavery but we men are still being enslaved, haina?

Maan doesn’t know how to escape from Dev….

Maan looks lost.... He doesn't understand anything Dev is telling him... It's like Greek and Latin to him...

Dev understands that from Maan's face...

Dev: you just got married man, you will understand soon

Maan: I’ll come

(Could you please leave me alone?)

Maan just wants to get rid of this nuisance….

Dev: ok, I’ll wait here

Maan: what?

Dev: we have to go for dinner

Maan: what?

Dev: don’t forget to pack your clothes, you are staying for a couple of days

Maan: I’m staying? where? Why?

Hmmm, how dare Dev? Who are you to decide Maan’s schedule?

Dev: we have no time for your questions, I’ll answer you in the commute, now hurry up, or I’ll come and help you

Maan : no thanks

Maan leaves before Dev could follow….

Dev takes Maan to Penang…

Geet is surprised to see Maan…

She didn’t know that Dev would bring Maan there…

Poor Maan had to stay there for the next couple of days…

Anyhow Geet and Maan met each other before boarding the flight, when they actually had planned to meet, for they had to take the same flight back home…

Whatever it is, Riya enjoyed the trip very much….

Sam and Dev easily made friends with Riya and Annie but Maan stayed out of their league…

Annie also liked the break… for once she forgot about her worries and enjoyed a lot with her new friends.. all thanks to Geet….

What about poor Maan? No one cared about him but for Dev… Maan has to be happy with Dev’s company…

But Maan didn’t like Dev’s company much…

Back home…

Dadi is happy that Geet spent a holiday with Maan…

However, Geet slowly starts to spend more time with Maan from then…

Even if they had other company, mostly Riya, Geet likes the time she gets to be with her husband, the times when she really feels like being a part of Maan’s life…

Isn’t that a leap forward in their relationship?
